## About TurboTenant
TurboTenant is a property management software company based in Fort Collins, Colorado. Founded in 2015, TurboTenant has grown to support over 775,000 landlords across the U.S., primarily catering to independent landlords. The platform was designed to simplify the rental process by centralizing all the tools landlords need into one easy-to-use system. The software includes features such as rental listing syndication, tenant pre-screening, online applications, and comprehensive tenant screening reports that include credit, criminal, and eviction history. Landlords can also collect rent online, track maintenance requests, generate lease agreements, and manage documents from a single dashboard. A recent integration with Rent Butter has enhanced fraud detection and screening speed, offering near-instant background checks. TurboTenant’s primary value lies in its ability to save landlords time, reduce risk, and streamline communication with tenants—all at a low cost. The core platform is free to use, making it accessible for landlords looking to manage their rentals professionally without the overhead of traditional property management or expensive software.

## TurboTenant Reviews
  ### 1. TurboTenant Makes Payments, Maintenance Requests, and Tenant Listings Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sterling S. | Property Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

TurboTenat I log in almost everyday to check payments and requests, and it’s been really helpful for staying on top of notifications and communications.
The maintenance request feature is something I didn’t expect to rely on so much, but now it feels essential.
Tenants can submit issues directly there, and I am able to track everything in one place without depending on what’sApp messages or phone calls. The Integration with listing platforms also makes it easier to find tenants faster, since I don’t have to post manually everywhere.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

Getting started with turbo tenant was very easy and it made the onboarding process feel smooth and straightforward from the beginning . I honestly haven’t found anything to dislike about TurboTenant.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before everything was scattered across calls, text, spreadsheets. It also gives me a messaging platform so i can communicate with my tenants without using my personal email. Now I have a systems where payments, issues and tenants information are all tracked in a single place, which reduces confusion cuts down on follow ups.

  ### 2. Consistent Workflows and Reliable Reporting in One Dashboard

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle C. | Real Estate Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I like having consistent processes in place applications, screaning, lease signing, and rent tracking all follow the same workflow, which makes everything much easier to mange. The reports are detailed enough for me to make quick, level headed decisions about tenants, while still feeling confident that the data is accurate and reliable. It also helps that everything is accessible from a single dashboard, so I don’t have to keep switching between different platforms.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

Sometimes the system feels a solw, particualry when I’m trying to tweak workflows or change how listings are displayed. In mu day to day professional work, I’m used to continually improving and fine tuning the way things are set up, so the limited flexibility here can feel restrictive from time to time.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It brings structure to something that used to be scattered across emails and spreadsheets. Being able to manage everything from rent to maintenance in TurboTenant keeps my life simpler and helps keep my portfolio profitable. That same consistency makes it easier to saty organized, follow through on tasks and avoid small mistakes that can slip in when things are spread out.

  ### 3. Straightforward Portal That Simplifies Rent, Leases, and Tenant Communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura P. | Property Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

It makes the everyday tasks simple collecting rent, managing leases, and communicating with tenants all happen right in the portal. I rely on it almost exclusively at this point. The interface is very straightforward, which is a relief because property management can already get easy complicated. I also don’t feel like I have to keep checking things constantly, and that saves me some mental effort.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

The reporting could be better. It works, but it feels a basic especially if you want to track income over time or export more detailed data. I’d also appreciate more flexibility to tailor listings layouts layouts, and custom fields, and adjust how information is displayed. Overall that area could definitely use improvement.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using this, I had to keep track of everything manually m, and it got messy fast. Now payments, leases and messages are all in the portal, so everything feels much more organized and easier to find when I need it. It streamlines communication and makes tenat screening feel more reliable and less stressful, which helps me stay on top of things day to day. It makes managing properties easier and lot less time consuming.

  ### 4. All-in-One Dashboard That Simplifies Listings, Screening, and Rent Collection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Livia V. | Real Esate Agent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

Turbotenant integration with listing sites and tenant screening services is really helpful. What stands out most to me is how the platform pulls listings, tenant screening and rent collection into one straight forward dashboard. I can publish a listing across multiple rental platforms and then review applicants from the same place , which keeps everything organized and easy to manage.
And most nights , i just need to log in , see who paid , check messages and move on and the dashboard supports that workflow well . Online rent collection and maintenance tracking are built in too , so it covers most pf the day to day property management tasks without me needing additional software

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

Its not a major issue , but it can slow things down a little during busy periods. I also wish support were a bit easier a reach sometimes, especially when i m short on time mostly

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its made bookkeeping less stressful and more consistent from Month to month. Applications payments, documents and messages are all kept organized in one system, which make it easto track tenants and stay up to date. On property records without anything getting isolated or overlooked.

  ### 5. All-in-One Platform That Makes Property Management Simple

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nayeli G. | Management Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

TurboTenant includes a lot of useful features, and I like that it keeps the essentials in one place. Applications, screening leases, and rent payments are all connected. I used to track everything in Excel rent, deposits, and lease details but now I can rental listings, review tenant applications, run background checks, send leases agreements agreements for e-signature, and collect rent payments all within the same platform. Having everything in one place makes property managemnt much simpler. Instead of jumping between services, I can manage most tasks from a single dashboard.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

Overall it work well, but I do think the integrations could be stronger. I’d really like to see more options for connecting with other platforms, especially when it comes to syncing listings or exporting fincial information. The current setup is helpful most of the time, but I still miss the flexibility to build things exactly the way I want. Having that level of control would make it much easier to keep everything orgainzed and consistent across the different tools I use.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TurboTenat simplifies tge day to day work of managing rentals. We’ve been able to eliminate many of the reports we used to create because everything we need is available in TurboTenant with a just a click. Tasks like listing properties, screening tenants, managing lease documenta, and collecting rent are all in one olace. As a result, I spend less time dealing with scattered information and more rime actually managing the property. It makes everything easier to track and manage.

  ### 6. All-in-One Dashboard That Makes Property Management Easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tegan C. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

TurboTenant offers a good mix of features that make property managemnt easier. It bings everything into one dashboard, especailly reports and listing syndication. I like the built in integrations for tenant screening, electronic lease signing, and online rent payments. The listing syndication features is also helpful because it lets you reach more renters without having to post in multiple sites manually.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

I really wish there were an easier way to add someone to an existing lease without having to retype the entire document. I’d also like a more flexibility when customizing a property listing. Aside from those two things, I haven’t run into any issues so far, and I’m genuinely happy with it.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TurboTenant helps reduce the need to juggle several different tools to mange renatal properties. Rather than relying on one service for listings, another for payments, and something else for communication, I can handle most of it in one place. That makes everything easier to track, keeps deatils from getting scattered, and saves time managing properties. Overall, it helps me stay organized, and its easy to access whenever we need it.

  ### 7. TurboTenant Streamlines Rental Management from Listings to Rent Collection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean W. | Associate Broker / Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

TurboTenant has proved to be a must-have product for our rental management operations. It has really streamlined our entire rental management process from the time of rental advertising to search for the right tenants to collecting rents and managing all the day-to-day operations. TurboTenant offers an all-inclusive rental management dashboard that help us to have one single source of truth about our rental management operations rather than having multiple scattered ones. It supports multiple payment collection options which allows us to give our tenants the liberty to pay rent with their preferred payment option. TurboTenant has an incredible reporting feature that help us generate detailed reports of each unit, making it easy to do accounting and bookkeeping for each rental unit. It also provide advanced data privacy and safety features which makes it for us to comply with tenant data safety regulations. TurboTenant has a tenant screening feature that help us to do all the background checks for our tenants before we agree to rent them a unit.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

Our time with TurboTenant so far has been very smooth and worthy everything we pay for. Its features are easy to use and none of them has ever given us any challenges. We cannot find anything to dislike or complain about TurboTenant at the moment.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use TurboTenant to streamline our property management operations from finding tenants to the daily rental management operations. Since we have multiple units to manage, TurboTenant has been very beneficial by allowing us to consolidate all our operations under one platform. It helps us to have an all-inclusive dashboard that offers clear overview of all the rental units. TurboTenant has made it easy to find the right tenants by allowing us to run rental marketing on major rental sites, and do screening and background checks on each tenant. It also has simplified our work when collecting monthly rent. With TurboTenant, we have been able to optimize our work in doing general maintenance on each unit and also doing accounting and bookkeeping for all our rental units.

  ### 8. TurboTenant Makes Rent Collection and Tenant Screening Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew H. | Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I mainly use TurboTenant to collect rent and screen tenants, and both features have worked really well for me. TurboTenant easy to navigate, and once everything is set up it fastest becomes a consistent part of my workflow. I also like the convenience of having rent payments, applications, and tenant information managed in one place through a single dashboard. Overall, its straightforward and convenient to use, and the price feels fair.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

Sometimes I end up using other for lease templates because the built on options don’t always give me the flexibility I’m looking for. Also, the last time I used it, I found the process for signing documenta and sending link emails a hard to navigate, though I did figure it out eventually.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TurboTenant brings a lot of my rental managemnt tasks together in one dashboard. Rather than juggling seprate platforms for payments, screening, and communication, i can handle most of it directly through turbotenant. It saves time and makes managing my properties feel much more lot more straightforward and organized.

  ### 9. Affordable Listings with Room for Design Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdullah H. | Medical Lead & Founder, Medical Practice, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I like that TurboTenant offers affordable pricing for properties, which seems really cheap compared to Airbnb. It's great that the website shows multiple properties and provides transparency with details like brand, deposit, lease terms, and availability. I also find it very easy to use, as searching for properties is convenient and the experience adapts whether you are a landlord or a renter. The listing of properties is really comprehensive and offers transparency.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

I really don't love the UX UI design because it feels simple and basic, and it doesn't give off a trustworthy vibe. I would like to see it more enhanced. Also, I would prefer if it could scale for other areas and regions, not just be focused on the United States. It would be nice if property managers could list properties on multiple platforms from TurboTenant, like publishing on other sites simultaneously like Airbnb or booking, etc. The sign up process were inconvenient at all! I really faced multiple issues with it. Even when using ‎Facebook Login, it gives me that this is not available for this app‎!
‎Facebook only allows login through trusted third-party apps. This app doesn’t meet our security requirements.‎ Therefore, I can't use it or access to their services as a renter!

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TurboTenant for searching properties within a ZIP code, which are affordable and have comprehensive listings with pictures, lease terms, and availability. As a renter, you can easily try to manage all your expenses in one platform.

  ### 10. TurboTenant Streamlined Listings and Applicant Screening in One Place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deirdre C. | Ops. Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

TurboTenant became a sort of anchor system for listings and applications even if it wasn't fully integrated with our setup. Its listing syndication feature saved us a lot of manual posting time which used to be very time consuming. Also having all applicant data and screening reports in one place made it easier to atleast standardize the process. Some of our less technical clients were able to log in and check applicants without needing much guidance.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

The one thing I wish it handled better is integrations. I tried connect it with our internal CRM workflow and there's no clean API support for what we needed. So we ended up doing some manual exports which felt like a step backward.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Turbotenant made collaboration with landlords smoother. Instead of sending updates back and forth they can just log in and see what's happening. Also for me specifically it's less about automation and more about consistency. Now things don't get lost as easily and that alone has improved how we manage multiple clients. That's definitely a step up from where we started.

  ### 11. Streamlined Property Management with Room for Localization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Usack S. | Energy Operations Coordinator, Oil & Energy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I like how TurboTenant centralizes every part of property management in one simple platform, saving me a huge amount of administrative time. I use it for tenant screening, lease generation, rent collection, maintenance requests, and document storage. Everything is organized and easy to access. I especially appreciate the automated reminders for rent payments, inspections, and lease renewals, which keep me on top of deadlines without manual follow-ups. The tenant screening feature is highly reliable, providing clear, compliant reports that help me choose trustworthy tenants efficiently. The initial setup was really straightforward and user-friendly, with an interface that's clean and intuitive, so I didn’t need any technical training to get started.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

One area where TurboTenant falls short is its limited support for German rental laws and local housing regulations. Since I manage company properties in Hamburg, many lease clauses, legal requirements, and tenant protection rules specific to Germany are not fully addressed in its standard templates. I often need to manually edit documents to ensure compliance, which adds extra work. The platform could also improve its maintenance request workflow. Currently, it doesn’t integrate well with local contractors or service providers commonly used in the German oil and energy sector, making it harder to assign and track repairs efficiently. Stronger multilingual support — especially full German language functionality for contracts, notifications, and tenant interfaces — would make it far more practical for local users. Right now, many features rely on English, creating extra translation work. Better integration with German banking and payment systems would streamline rent collection and vendor payments, since local platforms are often used over international options. More flexible company housing-specific tools would help. For example, temporary employee housing contracts, automated check-in/check-out documentation, and bulk management for multiple small units would fit energy industry needs better than standard long-term rental setups.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TurboTenant to streamline rental and property management, including tenant screening and centralized rent collection. It saves administrative time, ensures reliable tenants, and automates reminders for payments and inspections, helping me focus on core energy industry tasks and maintain compliance with German regulations.

  ### 12. Centralized Housing Management, Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Obhof R. | Warehouse Operations Manager, Warehousing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I like how TurboTenant centralizes everything related to our staff housing in one simple, reliable platform and allows our warehouse operations team to focus on logistics instead of rental admin. The digital lease signing and automated rent collection save us hours each month; we no longer deal with paper contracts, cash handling, or manual reminders. Tenant screening is quick and consistent, which helps us safely place new warehouse employees in on-site housing without extra hassle. Maintenance requests go straight through the platform, enabling us to coordinate repairs without constant calls or emails. What I particularly appreciate is that rent is automatically deducted on schedule, everything is logged in real time, and we no longer contend with late payments, lost receipts, or time-consuming follow-ups. The integration with digital leasing and maintenance tracking further ensures that the entire housing process is self-contained, making it reliable and low-effort, so our team can stay focused on warehouse operations rather than administrative busywork.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

First, the local German rental law and documentation support is limited. The lease templates, notice periods, and deposit rules are built around U.S. standards, so we always have to edit contracts manually to comply with German tenancy law. There’s no native support for typical German clauses like Betriebskostenabrechnung (utility operating costs) or required legal disclosures for residential rentals in Germany. TurboTenant would be far more useful if it included native support for key parts of German residential tenancy law (BGB § 535 ff.), rather than just offering basic translated templates. The current templates are US-focused and missing standard clauses required in Germany, such as Betriebskosten, heating cost allocation, Kautionsregelung (deposit rules limited to 3x net rent), and required legal notices about termination periods. We have to rewrite almost every lease externally, which defeats the purpose of digital contract tools. German rental law has strict, tenant-friendly notice periods that don’t match the US defaults. The system should let us select legal minimum notice periods based on length of tenancy and automatically flag non-compliant entries. Right now we have to double-check everything manually. We need a built-in way to track and document annual utility and operating cost statements, which are mandatory in Germany. TurboTenant has no structured way to do this, so we use separate spreadsheets.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TurboTenant centralizes tenant records, streamlines lease management, rent collection, and maintenance requests, reducing admin work. It simplifies compliance, speeds up onboarding, and ensures reliable payment logging, allowing us to focus on warehouse operations instead of housing paperwork.

  ### 13. TurboTenant’s Audit Logs and Document Retention Are a Consultant’s Gold

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darcy P. | Compliance & risk consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I actually came across Turbo tenant while helping a client who got burned by a tenant with a fraudulent reference. So when I started recommending tools to my other clients I wanted something with a proper audit log. I like document retention of Turbotenant and also the way it timestamps every single interaction. Recently I had a situation about 8 months ago where a landlord client was accused of mishandling a security deposit and I was able to pull the entire history from TurboTenant.. I could even show exactly when the tenant reported a scratch and when the landlord responded. That kind of thing is gold for me as a consultant.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

This is a bit niche but the thing that gets me is how the tenant screening reports handle UK data. I noticed about a year ago that some of the credit data they were pulling for my clients tenants wasn't matching what we were seeing from Experian UK. I reached out to their support and they were polite but basically said the UK data sources aren't as comprehensive as the US ones.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One big shift I noticed after a few months of using this with clients is how much faster i can wrap up compliance reviews. Now I log into their Turbo tenant account and I can see everything in chronological order. I had a housing association client recently that was facing a complaint from a tenant about an illegal eviction claim. I pulled the Turbo tenant logs and saw that the tenant had been given proper notice multiple times and had signed acknowledgment of the lease terms. The complaint got dropped within a week. For me that's the real value.

  ### 14. TurboTenant Maintenance Portal Saves Time with Photo-Based Requests and Clear Ticket Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ludwik B. | IT Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

Before TurboTenant I used to get maintenance requests out of phone calls and into a system where I could track them. But it was not efficient. Now we use the maintenance portal of TurbotTenant. Tenants can log in and submit a request with photos and it automatically creates a ticket. No more playing phone tag trying to figure out what's wrong. The property managers get a notification and they can assign it to one of our maintenance staff. I also like the photo upload feature of Turbotenant where tenants can take a picture of the problem and attach it right there. Our maintenance guys love that because they know what tools to bring before they even show up. It saves so much time. The communication log is also helpful because we can see the whole history of a request. Who submitted it who worked on it what parts were ordered. It's all in one place

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

TurboTenant is clearly built for landlords managing a few properties not for a company managing hundreds. The maintenance workflow works okay for now but I can see it hitting a ceiling. There's no real inventory management. Another thing that bothers me is the language support. We're in Sweden and while our team speaks English fine our tenants sometimes prefer Swedish. The tenant portal is only in English which works for most of our tenants but not all.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our maintenance team used to work in silos. Each handyman had their own notebook and their own way of tracking things. Now they can see what each other is working on. If one person is out sick someone else can pick up their open requests without missing a beat. That wasn't possible before. Finally our tenants are happier because their requests actually get handled and our property managers are less stressed. That's worth a lot

  ### 15. TurboTenant Standardized Our Leases and Centralized Document Storage

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan W. | Business systems analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

We had different property managers using different lease templates. Some were using PDFs some were using Word docs. There was no consistency and when you manage over a thousand homes that's a problem. We picked TurboTenant to solve the lease standardization problem. We needed everyone using the same documents with the same clauses and the same approval workflow. The document storage is another thing I appreciate. Before we had leases scattered across network drives email attachments and sometimes just on people's desktops. Now everything lives in the tenant profile.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

The api situation is one of the pain point. We use Salesforce to track our leads and properties and there's no native integration. I had to use a third party tool Zapier to connect them. For a company our size we need better connectivity.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our regional managers can now see across all their properties without having to email five different people for updates. If a property manager is out someone else can step in and know exactly where things stand. That consistency is probably the biggest win for us. I just wish the integration was better because those are the things that would take us from good to great.

  ### 16. TurboTenant Streamlined Our Lease Management With Easy Templates and Helpful Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | IT support specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I am in IT Support and When I started here about two years ago we had this ancient system where property managers would print lease agreements walk them to the tenant's apartment wait around and then bring the signed papers back to scan them. It was so inefficient. Our company started using TurboTenant to solve the lease management problem. I set up the accounts and did a quick team training and most people figured it out on their own. The template feature is a big win because we have standard leases for different building types and once they're set up nobody has to recreate them. I had one support interaction with TurboTenant when we had a weird sync issue with some documents not showing up. Their chat support was helpful and we got it sorted in about 20 minutes

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

The integration with our accounting software Yardi has not been easy. There's no direct connection. So our finance team has to export reports and manually import them which takes hours each month. Lso the mobile app can be slow sometimes. Property managers use it in the field to show units and pull up lease info and I've had a few reports of it freezing or taking forever to load.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has reduced my support tickets by a decent amount. Before TurboTenant I was constantly helping people find files or recover documents from the network drive. Now most of that is handled in the app. I think we're onboarding tenants faster. The automated reminders mean people sign leases sooner

  ### 17. Streamlined Applications, Leases, and Screening Reports in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Markus W. | System administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

My job is to make sure TurboTenant actually works with our existing systems and that people can use it without calling me every five minutes. We started with turboTenant about a year ago because our old way of handling tenant applications was honestly kind of embarrassing. Our use case for simple. We needed a centralised place for applications and leases. It handles the whole flow from application to lease signature. The screening reports are probably the most useful feature for our property managers. They used to guess about credit and background and now they have actual data.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

Okay so here's my German engineering brain talking but the reporting is not great. Like at all. The user permission are limited too. In Germany we have strict data privacy rules. We have different levels of staff and I need to control exactly who sees what. Some assistants should only see applications for the buildings not for the whole portfolio. Turbo tenant permission system is too broad. You are either an admin or you are not basically.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me personally it's actually reduced the number of support tickets I get. Before TurboTenant and it's usually a password reset or something simple. It frees me up to work on other projects like our maintenance software which honest need more attention. My only real complaint is that I still have to do manual work for reporting and accounting integration. If they fix this thing it would be much stronger product for companies our size.

  ### 18. It helped us digitalis our lease but we are waiting on better integrations.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clara D. | Digital workflow specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

So my official title is digital workflow specialist which basically means I am the person who has to get our team to actually use the software we pay for. We had a major problem before TurboTenant. Our property managers were still printing out lease agreement and scanning signed copy back into a shared drive that was a total mess. Our problem was simple we needed a way to generate leases, send them for signature and store them without all the back and forth email chaos. I like that we can create a lease template once and it auto fill with the tenant and property details.
The e-signature tracking is honestly my favourite thing. As someone who has to report on process adoption to management I can log in.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

The payout times are something I have to constantly explain to our managers. When a tenant pays through TurboTenant it takes awhile to actually hit our bank account. In France we were used to things moving faster. It creates a disconnect because the system says paid but our bank account doesn't show it yet. That's confusing for everyone specially when a tenant calls asking why they have a late fee when they already paid.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productivity wise I would say we are processing new tenants about 30% faster than before. The lease generation used to take like an hour of copying and pasting but now it's 10 minutes only. It's not a perfect tool and we still have to use other software for accounting but for what it does well it does really well. I just wish the money moved faster and the reporting was better.

  ### 19. Centralized Rental Management and Smooth Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolas L. | Sr. Growth Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I started using TurboTenant to move away from spreadsheets and manual checks, and it's been a massive time-saver. The automated rent collection and late fee application take the 'awkwardness' out of the landlord-tenant relationship. I use it to centralize the entire rental lifecycle for my properties. Instead of jumping between Craigslist for ads, Venmo for rent, and paper files for leases, I handle everything in one dashboard. TurboTenant forces a single 'source of truth.' Every maintenance request, every message, and every payment is timestamped and stored in one thread, eliminating the 'he-said, she-said' and giving me an instant record if I ever have to go to court. The initial setup was painless, and I had my first property listed in under 5 minutes. The 'lease wizard' is a standout, as it guided me through state-specific legalities that I otherwise would have to pay a lawyer to figure out.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

It doesn't have syndication directly to the Zillow family of sites (Zillow, Trulia, HotPads).

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TurboTenant to centralize my rental operations, moving away from spreadsheets and manual checks. It saves time and reduces awkwardness with automated rent collection and late fee applications. It replaces the hassle of chasing tenants for checks and dealing with payment limits.

  ### 20. Exceptional All-in-One Property Management Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elia M. | Content Marketing Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2025

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

This platform for property, tenant, and renter management has rapidly become one of the most effective all-in-one solutions I have ever encountered. To clarify, it has genuinely impressed me—surpassing what I would normally consider amazing—particularly in how it enables you to oversee everything from adding property, adding renters, communicatimg, payments to accountability within a single, unified system.

What stands out to me is the ease with which you can list properties and specify their locations. After adding a property, you can quickly search for, locate, and manage tenants and renters. The platform streamlines the process of sending applications, sharing rental information, and inviting tenants, and renters via secure invitation links, ensuring they receive all essential details directly through the system.

Another feature I find exceptional is the team collaboration capability. This platform is especially advantageous for properties managed by companies or groups, as it allows multiple team members to work together efficiently. You can assign particular roles and responsibilities to each person involved in property management, which keeps everything organized and operations running smoothly.

The communication hub is also a major asset, offering a centralized area for clear and effective communication with both your team and your renters. This helps reduce misunderstandings and accelerates response times.

I was especially impressed by the renters agreement functionality. The platform facilitates electronic document signing, making it straightforward to send agreements, have them signed digitally, and collect payments all within the same system. The inclusion of various payment methods further enhances convenience for both property managers and tenants.

In summary, TurboTenant has gone above and beyond my expectations. It provides much more functionality than I initially anticipated and has proven itself to be a strong, reliable solution for comprehensive property management.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

One of the main difficulties I have faced with TurboTenant is its restriction to use within the United States. If you attempt to access or download the app from another country, it might not appear in the app store. This poses a problem for users who travel frequently or have relocated, as property management often demands uninterrupted access no matter where you are.

For those of us who live or work internationally, it is essential to have our management tools available at all times so we can continue to oversee properties, tenant details, and payments even when outside the USA. Unfortunately, in certain regions, the app can become sluggish or entirely inaccessible, which undermines both productivity and reliability.

I would highly encourage expanding the platform’s availability to more regions, enabling users to manage their properties and access their information seamlessly from anywhere in the world.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TurboTenant significantly streamlines tasks for both property managers and tenants, saving a considerable amount of time. It makes it much easier to create invoices, send them to tenants, issue payment reminders, and manage financial refunds when necessary.

A standout feature that addressed many of my previous challenges is its payment collection capability. Renters can pay securely through the platform, and the funds are transferred to you without any hassle. The tool offers several payment options, such as bank transfers, credit cards, and other customizable methods, and it even allows for cash payments if required.

The system also automatically generates receipts and sends timely reminders to renters when payments are due. This level of automation eliminates the need for constant follow-ups, phone calls, or manual reminders to collect rent.

In summary, TurboTenant makes the payment process seamless. It not only saves time but also boosts productivity and creates a more efficient workflow for managing properties and tenants.

The all-in-one platform makes listing properties, screening tenants, collecting rent, and managing documents simple and organized. It's a great value overall, especially for independent landlords.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

Some advanced features and customization options are limited compared to more expensive property management platforms. Reporting and analytics could be more detailed, and it would be helpful to have a bit more flexibility in lease templates and settings. However, these are minor trade-offs considering the platform's ease of use and affordability.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TurboTenant to streamline rental management, handling listings, tenant screening, rent collection, and document organization. It saves me time, reduces late payments, and simplifies communication, making property management straightforward and stress-free without needing expensive software.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark A. | Owner and Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2025

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I am able to accept payments from tenants electronically and track them easily. There is a fee free option for tenants to make electronic payments, late fees are automatically applied when applicable and I can clearly see any tenant's payment history. I also really like the chat feature for basic communication or maintenance requests.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

TurboTenant is improving its software pretty quickly, but there are some issues still needing to be addressed. For example, I wish that group text chains back and forth to every tenant in a unit was possible and I wish that there was more functionality with needing to require all other fees to be paid before rent each month since the late fee is only attached to the rent payment and not to other fees.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TurboTenant has improved rent collection functionality and lease and addendum creation functionality. These things continue to make using the software more efficiency and more intuitive. Especially in terms of lease and addendum documents, it is great to have useable examples that I can either adopt and use or edit to meet my specific needs and then send out quickly for digital signing.

The initial setup was very easy for me.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

I dislike that TurboTenant doesn't offer a way to collect rent weekly. I have to create one-time payments instead. Also, it would be nice if there was a separate email login for a property manager. Currently, I have to give out my landlord login information, which isn't a good practice if the same password is used for different accounts. I also found that the initial setup was easy for me, but when setting it up again for my brother, it seemed hard to navigate for a new user.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

The number of tabs and menus can be overwhelming as more properties and tenants are added, making it difficult to navigate the platform efficiently. Additionally, the interface feels like a 'one size fits all' approach, which lacks personalization. It would be beneficial to have more hyper-personalized custom dashboards that cater to individual needs.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** wenbin w. | Salesforce developer/Salesforce administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

its ease of use and ability to streamline the entire rental management process, from tenant screening to rent collection, all in one platform.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

some advanced features are limited compared to more comprehensive property management platforms, and certain processes can feel less flexible for complex rental situations.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helps solve the problem of managing rental properties efficiently by centralizing tasks like tenant screening, lease management, and rent collection. This benefits me by saving time, reducing administrative work, and making it easier to communicate with tenants and keep everything organized

  ### 43. Exceptional property management software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander L. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

Customer support has been great. My tenants love the app and maintenance requests and I love the electronic rent collection and pdf signing of docs

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

The transactions tab or section is lacking. I wish they could incorporate accounting like Stessa and link our bank account in order to do better reporting. The tax service turbotenant offers is way overpriced and not feasible for us that don’t own more than 10 units for it to be valuable.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Turbo tenant has issues with software updates. They’ve worked through multiple issues with me personally with rents reflecting incorrectly on my app (thankfully not showing for my tenants) but they’ve been on it and are able to fix things fairly quickly which is greatly appreciated.

**Official Response from TurboTenant Inc:**

> Hi Alexander. We’re so glad to hear that you and your tenants are enjoying the app, and that our support team has been there for you when you’ve needed help. That means a lot to us!

We really appreciate your honest feedback about accounting and reporting tools. We know how valuable those features can be, and your input helps guide our improvements. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience and for being part of the TurboTenant community!

  ### 44. Intuitive, affordable, and easy-to-use software for small landlords

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca M. | Landlord/property manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

The interface is clean and uncomplicated. Other software I've tried has a steep learning curve, but not TurboTenant. The starting price for the paid subscription is on the lower end for property management software, with options to upgrade to premium add-ons (accounting, premium maintenance). I can't speak on the customer service, as I've never had to contact them, but I guess that speaks volumes about the quality of the product. Oh, and their mobile app is awesome. Highly recommended.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

You can start a message to multiple tenants through the app, but that's not a big deal for me.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can market rentals, screen tenants, collect rent, and create lease agreements much faster than I have in the past!

**Official Response from TurboTenant Inc:**

> Hi Rebecca! Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback. It’s great to know that our pricing and feature options are meeting your needs as well.

We also appreciate your note about messaging. Feedback like yours helps us continue refining the platform. Thanks again for recommending TurboTenant and for being part of our community! :)

  ### 45. Effective Tenant Screening, Needs Better Background Checks

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daisy .

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2025

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I like TurboTenant for its screening of potential tenants and other features. It helps weed out people who cannot afford to pay the rent or those who might not keep my apartment clean. It really helps in finding acceptable, qualified tenants.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

I don't like that TurboTenant's process for checking people's background and references doesn't work as well as it could. The last tenant was a heavy alcoholic with bad character, which wasn't identified by TurboTenant. I'd like to see them improve by speaking with people who know the tenants, like relatives, friends, coworkers, past employers, and past landlords.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TurboTenant helps find qualified tenants by screening them and ensuring they meet my criteria, like being reliable and keeping the property clean.

  ### 46. Intuitive Platform with Excellent Support and Quick Onboarding

**Reviewed by:** Kristiana O. | Property Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I love working with TurboTenant as their platform is intuitive and if you do have any questions, their support team is extremely easy to work with. My tenants are so grateful to have such an easy platform to manage their maintenance issues and monthly payments. TurboTenant also has a great notification system for payment and tenant messages - both text and email.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

In the initial onboarding there is a learning curve to getting comfortable with the platform but it is very short and easy to learn.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous process consisted of mail-in payments and tracking down tenants to communicate, but now we have everything on one online platform,

**Official Response from TurboTenant Inc:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re so glad to hear that TurboTenant has made life easier for both you and your tenants. Thanks again for sharing your experience and for being part of the TurboTenant community!

Nothing really. It was a great service that did everything I expected of it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about TurboTenant?**

I love how TurboTenant is so easy to use. In a matter of minutes I was able to add my property and start collecting rent through the platform. It simplified and automated the process not only for me, but also my tenants. They've had several features over the years to help with taxes, accounting, managing properties, finding tenants and more. If you're a busy professional that needs to take hours out of rental property management, look no further.

**What do you dislike about TurboTenant?**

I don't have much to share since it gets the job done. It can be cumbersome to accomplish a few tasks on the mobile app but that's not a deal breaker for me.

**What problems is TurboTenant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding new tenants, rent collection, end of year tax support
