"Complex Apps developer on Tulip"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Tulip?

The tulip gives you freedom to create the apps without using code , it's completely based on GUI which allows you to create apps by simply drag and drop functionality moreover with the help version control functionality you can manage the version of each app and deploy the app to the specific domain which they called stations and there is an option to manage between multiple environments i.e. Dev , Test and Prod. You can also integrate your data from multiple sources using API functionality which will allow to have the data on realtime basis. You can also develop governance model for user access by managing the roles for users. The workflow of the apps can be very dynamic as tulip allows you to access the data through which you can design your workflow decisions accordingly moreover you can send notification to the users with conditional logics. For a very complex calculation tulip uses very basic expressions to describe the calculations easily which can help the user to develop the formula of the calculations accordingly. The logic on Tulip is strongly based on If-else condition which makes a very powerful tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tulip?

The tulip might need to work on reporting functionality to get maximum benefits out of it.

And there is an area of improvement on access management to make it more dynamic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use when designing, building and deploying applications to the shop floor. As we have developed a fair few Tulip applications now, it's great to see how they easily integrate into each other. The available customer support is excellent, supporting me when i need to identify possible solutions and providing information on critical updates.

Tulip is an everyday application, meaning i am using it all the time, along with all the site's functions. The number of features available is fantastic, allowing for multiple different systems to be implemented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An absolutely great platform for the front line worker"
4/5
What do you like best about Tulip?

Tulip is really focused on bringing power to the front line worker. Anyone can pick up the product and within a few hours digitize a process. If you start to feel a little constrained by the tool you can upskill and create your own custom widgets and also connect to a wide array of datasources for further data processing. Support is knowledgeable, friendly, and timely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tulip?

App proliferation can be an issue. When you have a lot of citizen developers, unless you have really good communication channels you will end up with duplication of work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Creating an app is very easy, even for people with no programming skills"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Tulip?

The way to manage Placeholders. It's visual, you can have multiple records selected from the same table.

And because it's directly linked to Tulip tables, every update are easy to visulise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tulip?

I think it's the way to program trigger.

We can't mix "any" and "all" conditions so we have to duplicate and overcomplicate trigger management. This issue is the same for querries in tulip tables Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
