**Reviewed by:** Shivam S. | Technical Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Useful and trustworthy reviews mentioned in the websites which are from genuine people in order to customize and get the better understanding of the products.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Some of the reviews are not reflecting in the websites itself,It might take time to see the reviews

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through websites we can check and monitoring the feedbacks.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Shivam,

  ### 2. Great Trustpilot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmad Luqman H. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I like Trustpilot because easy for me to embed the widget reviews to my website.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

The widget is limited design for user who subscribe free plan.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can increase my reputation and customer trust to purchase something with my websites.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hey Ahmad,

We're so glad to see how easy it is to embed reviews into your website! If you would like to know more about widgets in an upgraded plan, please reach out to us. Thank you for sharing your experience :)

  ### 3. High price, low value, unethical business practices

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

It's a well-recognized brand and so having a good rating on Trustpilot can back a company up.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Trustpilot has unethical practices: they tie you in for a year and you have to cancel 30 days before your renewal date. If you fail to do so then you have to keep paying for an additional year, no money-back or any kind of flexibility. It provides very little value for the price and they keep increasing their prices.

For a SaaS company it's not a great fit, they focus more on eCommerce and other product-based businesses.

Their widget library is incredibly limited, they have hardly any integrations. Basic features like exporting reviews are limited to expensive plans too.

So overall really poor value and negative brand.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

I'd recommend going for only a free profile and using another paid solution like Reviews.io or free solutions like Google reviews.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Showcasing social proof. Due to Trustpilot's high brand recognition, customers trust highly reviewed companies on their site. I wish they provided as good of a customer experience to their business partners as to end-users.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review. We're really sorry to hear that you didn't love your Trustpilot experience. We do ask that all customers cancel within their contract terms. We also offer lots of different plans and pricing that hopefully fits all customers' needs and apologize if you felt that they didn't. We'll be sure to send over your feedback to our team for the future. If there's anything we can do to help improve your experience, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

  ### 4. Trustpilot is Helping us Reach More Reviewers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel Q. | Marketing Consultant / Anthropologist / Market Research, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

It was super easy to add to our Shopify site and email brand new customers in a timely manner after they made a purchase. I was surprised that the day we implemented it we started getting reviews!

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Not much really. The process was so simple and easy. I guess the only thing would be that we get rated on many smaller specific things that we normally don't ask on a normal review so this can lower our rating.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Start using it right away to earn more reviews from real customers. It will increase your reviews I promise.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting more reviews from our newest customers with an email sent out by Trustpilot. We are getting more reviews than ever.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Rachel,

Thanks for the review! We love to hear that you're enjoying easily collecting reviews on Trustpilot so far.

If you have any questions or concerns in the future, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Let's upgrade the world with reviews!

  ### 5. Connected around the world with other Mafia Companies

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Nothing to like here; they are keeping a lot of companies from bad reviews.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I tried to write a negative review for CDKEYS.COM, and they deleted it. They are saving them from bad reviews! Nów I promised that I will write reviews for Trustpilot.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

No!

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Publish a negative review for their customers.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. Trustpilot does accept all reviews, both positive and negative, as long as they meet our guidelines. Our automatic software scans reviews once submitted and if they do not fall within guidelines they are removed and you are notified. ### 6. Trustpilot review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhavesh S. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Easy to use, widely popular, affordable, great customer service

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Features limitation, cannot do anything about fake reviews

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Need more control with business owners in terms of fake reviews

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems as such YET
I think it is a pretty nice solution for medium sized business

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Bhavesh,

Thanks for the feedback. We're glad to hear you're enjoying using Trustpilot so far.

Our team works hard to combat fake reviews on our platform, which you can read more about here https://trst.pl/2NZK42C. You can always flag a review that violates our guidelines for our team to look into and/or report any issues you see to our Content Integrity team.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch in the future!

  ### 7. Predatory Pricing with a Business Model that Holds Merchants Hostage

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

They collect reviews just like the rest of the review sites. I suppose the one "advantage" they have going for them is they have developed a method to rank the highest between the review sites on Google SEO.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

The challenge with Trustpilot is that they know that their results rank in Google SEO higher than their competitors, so they charge 3x to 4x more for the exact same service. At the Enterprise level, they have a few extra features, but I don't think it justifies the increased costs. They also charge essentially the same amount for the service of more than one profile on the same account. So, if you run two sites, they want you to basically pay double which again doesn't seem reasonable business practice, but you are forced to comply because their reviews rank highest. It's essentially a monopoly due to Google and Trustpilot knows it and they unfairly take advantage of small businesses.

In addition, we've had multiple technical support issues since integrating that have essentially taken a portion our site offline. Trustpilot refuses to do right by us and even give a partial refund for the time period they were offline / caused our business to go offline.

Lastly, they are changing their review collection policies just weeks after we signed up which impacts how many reviews we can collect without taking any input or feedback. Nor will they let us out of our contract. It's a very unilateral relationship and for one that's supposed to be built on "trust" is the exact opposite.

I would go with another

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you pay the Enterprise fees, then you are able to add additional review collection methods to increase the overall number of reviews which is important to gain a balanced set of customer reviews. The benefit is you get a tremendous amount of customer feedback, but that feedback is no different than using the same services from cheaper competitors.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about our platform. We know what we do comes at a cost, but hope the different plans and packages we offer fit businesses of all sizes. However, we will be sure to let our team know of your comments regarding our costs to look into for the future.

We're so sorry if there's been any technical trouble when using our platform. If there are still any lingering issues, our Support team would be more than happy to help if you get in touch via this link https://trst.pl/30S3fjB.

We do require customers to cancel within their contract terms, but your Customer Success Manager should be able to help out and make sure you're getting the most out of your Trustpilot experience. If you're having trouble collecting reviews, we'd recommend following up with your Customer Success Manager so they can provide tips and feedback to help out as soon as possible.

  ### 8. Show the world opinions about a company's website

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcel P. | Mr. Marcel Pazos, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I like it because on this site you can share opinions about companies and their websites from the customer's point of view. But also as an owner you can manage the opinions you receive and embed them on your website.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Like all review websites it is a 2 way path on one hand you can receive good criticism but also false negatives from the competition.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

The review and evaluation sites help your customers to have more confidence in the service or product offered when buying them, that is why I recommend using trustpilot and placing it on your website.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the things we were looking for with TRUSTPILOT was to improve the traffic and positioning of the website giving confidence to potential customers.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Marcel,

Thanks for the review! We're so glad to hear that you're enjoying your Trustpilot experience so far.

We do work around the clock to safeguard our platform and combat fake reviews, which you can read about here https://trst.pl/2NZK42C. Please don't hesitate to get in touch in the future with any questions or concerns.

  ### 9. An excellent system to capture the opinion of consumers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MIGUEL ANGEL M. | Company Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Trustpilot is a user feedback platform that is very easy to use, versatile and that is modernized every day to keep up with the times we are living, offering customers a quality and excellent service, giving businesses the necessary tool to achieve their of people who trust business and make purchases and then have the opportunity to offer what their service was like and so other people see their opinions and make decisions when buying products through that seller.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

It is a very expensive system in the sense that it can only be monopolized by large companies. I think they must have a staggered system that, according to the businesses that are growing, can acquire the largest plans, but currently from the free plan to the next plan, it is very expensive. that it is not possible for all people to acquire them at the moment

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Try this business recommendation service because they will get a very valuable reputation online and in this way they will be able to get more clients every day in an organic way

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through this platform it has been possible to acquire the voice of the clients after receiving a service with us, which makes it possible for people to get their opinions and valuations and in this way get more clients and at the same time create a reputation for services. that are offered through a solid platform such as trustpilot

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Miguel,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, we really appreciate it. It's great to hear that you're finding Trustpilot to be helpful for both businesses and consumers. We do know what we do comes at a cost, but we hope that our range of plans and pricing modules help to fit the needs of all types of businesses. If there's anything we can do to help out, please don't hesitate to get in touch with your Customer Success Manager or our Support Team.

  ### 10. Great to research before buying

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

It’s useful to have an idea of how trustworthy other consumers perceive a particular website or brand to be before parting with your money. I like hearing from people from different backgrounds

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

You can’t always be sure of how trustworthy reviewers are or if their opinions are skewed by something. Some reviews may not be reliable. Also people are more likely to post negative reviews than they are positive ones, so you might read a disproportionate number of bad reviews that don’t fairly reflect the brand.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Remember that users aren’t vetted and some people may not have to evidence why their reviews and positive or negative. Try to take the consensus and don’t listen to outliers if they are just one in a group of hundreds.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before making consumer decisions I will check to see if the brand/provider is legitimate and has good feedback. This is particularly important if I’m considering buying from someone I haven’t bought from before

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. It's great to hear that you're enjoying reading customer feedback to help make buying decisions.

Trust is at the core of what we do and we work hard to maintain that on our platform. We're actually working to complete our Trust Promise by the end of the year, which you can read more about here https://trst.pl/2zYIWGQ.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch in the future with any questions, concerns, or feedback.

Let's upgrade the world with reviews!

  ### 11. Worth it only if you do not have your own strategy

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Widgets that showcase the reviews
A system that solicits reviews

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

This platform is essentially for businesses that want to either offset their internal review process or have it run through TrustPilot exclusively. This platform reminds me a little bit like Yext - a solution that makes your business information congruent across multiple map listings.

I believe that with the level of investment, clients can easily create and implement their own system that feeds 3rd party review sites that end up ranking better than TrustPilot does, in most instances.

PROS:
- Great customer service
- Decent onboarding process
- System delivers results
- Cool widgets to use on your site

CONS:
- High total cost of ownership. You have to continue paying each year to get results versus a singular investment with a quarterly overlay to make incrimental improvements.
- No SCHEMA in on-page widgets (this may have changed since we used it)
- Users only have the option to leave a review on Trustpilot's site
- Competitively speaking, Trustpilot does not compete with the top 3rd party review sites for most niches

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

For what you will spend on this, invest in a solution that will automated your review solicitation process and grow your reviews through free, organic resources that help improve your business and search engine ranking. The investment is pretty sizeable and you lose the ability to use the reviews if you stop paying them the huge yearly fees they charge.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that a business would solve with TrustPilot is having access to an proven, automated system that works to get reviews going for your business. After implementation, it's hands-off for most business owners.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hello,

Thanks for the feedback - we're glad to hear you liked our widgets and review system.

We know what we do comes at a cost and apologize that you didn't have the best experience with our platform. Between our features, integrations, and Support Team, we try to make sure you're seeing the value of our service. We do offer the option to automatically send review invitations through our AFS tool. However, we understand your concerns and will definitely take your comments into consideration to improve for the future.

If there's anything we can do to improve your experience, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

  ### 12. Lots of fake reviews

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Ease of use, simplicity. Easy to confirm the review.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Lots of fake reviews. Fake email accounts can spam your company profile with 1 star reviews and there is not much you can do about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Lots of fake reviews, not recommended. They do not remove the 1 star flood of fake reviews posted by competitors or disgruntled, nonpaying customers that were sued.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fake reviews that were posted by an nonpaying customer has impacted our business. He was posting sometimes 2 fake reviews per day. It is clearly seen from those fake profiles. They were reported, yet trustpilot did nothing and said they were fine.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback - we'll be sure to let our team know of your comments. Please know that the integrity of our platform means the world to us and we work around the clock to safeguard our platform and combat fake reviews. Here's a bit more on how we do what we do: https://trst.pl/2NZK42C.

Detecting problems isn’t an exact science and even though we catch most of what’s out there, we always welcome help from anyone using Trustpilot.

We have tools enabling consumers and companies to flag reviews if they violate our User or Company Guidelines and a whistleblower function that allows anyone who notices fraudulent behavior to contact our Content Integrity Team directly by writing to compliance@trustpilot.com.

If there are reviews that violate our guidelines on your Trustpilot company profile page, you can report those within your business dashboard. Here's how: https://trst.pl/2YjwGaN.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

  ### 13. Building Highways for Society

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brendan K. | Executive Director / Owner, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Given the rapidly evolving and fast pace of life to which we endure, it remains evident that Business's / Companies and smaller Business setups are being challenged like never before seen in history. Simply because if you are an owner of a business and happen to trade during this transition of the human race, where nothing is hidden, all is documented for everyone's eyes, and not forgetting the IT advancements with AI and software improvements, and your business survives this transition, then pat yourself on the back and consider yourself an achiever. Why? Simple, you have managed to transform your business from the old ways of pen and paper, too that of an entirely new platform servicing new departments and clients on a level new to all who appear for the first time.

Today, reviews remain an important tool for further development and growth, greatly important in fact. It's a review and takes a couple minutes of your time, but the rewards for doing so are astronomical to others whom you don't even know about. It separates people from being taken for a fool to conducting business with a reputable and well deserved entity. It places identity and position to the both the client and business.
TRUSTPILOT has always been a favorite as business depends on the service level to which we hand out and greatly depends on clients reviews and support, as this further allows for us to consider improvements and adjustments where applicable.

If you ask me, the economy can but only grow using such tools.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Like everything in life; we have a plus side and naturally comes a down side as well. It can never be peaches and roses otherwise this would be to easy.
The only noticeable irritation with reviews, is that occasionally you'll get those certain types who contribute nothing to your business, but in fact chose to purposely make a scene out of nothing because they know the effects reviews has on another business.
Some attempt this nasty behavior due to Jealousy, others as a personal vendetta....

I do feel strongly about the fact, that something needs to be implemented with the concept of reviews and whom is allowed to conclude or air such reviews.
Reason I say this; I had to cancel Guests at my Guesthouse not so long due to unforeseen reasons, and the situation could not be mended as such. So we ended up finding another nearby Guesthouse for the Guests and all seemed well and they appeared happy.
2 hours later I receive a review on my web page, from these people who I had to cancel. It was such a nasty review that I was forced to get my lawyers involved as it had false damaging accusations aired and stated.
The part that annoyed me immensely was the fact that they were actually allowed to make a review to begin with, specially since they hadn't booked in by me and no active reservation was sealed. But yet they were allowed to review and state just what they wanted regardless of whether it's fact or not.

Surely not just anyone can create a review based on thin air. I mean you get educated people who drive and make positive changes in life and with the people they come into contact with . . . but then on the other hand you also get those who are bored, uneducated, and have nothing better to do with there time other than being destructive to others because that's what they thrive on essentially.

So how do we tackle this issue at hand?

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Be real, true, and considerate when placing a review, and know that your input can have major effects. Don't be degrading directly towards someone unless absolutely without a doubt they deserve such, but even so rather not on review, rather consider that in person.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business Improvements. I finally know about Staff and which of them are efficient and which are not. Very important to know where your business stands within your local society as it's the society nearest to you that can make or break you at the end of the day.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Brendan,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! It's great to hear that you're loving using Trustpilot and all things reviews.

The integrity of our platform means the world to us and our Content Integrity team works around the clock to safeguard our platform and combat fake reviews. We allow anyone to post a review, which prevents businesses from pre-screening or moderating what consumers actually read. We strongly believe in the power of being open to everyone and are fighting for a more transparent review industry. We also know this comes with great responsibility, which is why we’re constantly improving our efforts to tackle fake reviews, fraud and misuse. You can read more about how we do what we do here: https://trst.pl/2Xp6Hkc.

Companies can report reviews that go against our guidelines as well. Here's how: https://trst.pl/2YjwGaN.

If you're ever having trouble with a review on our platform, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team ASAP at compliance@trustpilot.com.

  ### 14. Trustpilot increases the credibility of an online business.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephenson H. | Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

In the wake of internet, many business have transferred a huge chunk of their operations online. Bearing in mind that online interactions eliminates the physical presence of both the buyer and the seller, it might be difficult for the customer to purchase an online product or service unless they have an evidence they will not be scammed. Trustpilot offers an avenue where online businesses can build the trust of their potential customers. Unlike many online business review platforms, Trustpilot offers a free package that is as useful as the paid package. Trustpilot can be integrated with the business website to facilitate automatic invitation to the customers once an order has been completed. This is the feature I like most since it is time saving.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Even though I am fascinated by the Trustpilot's integration feature, I must admit that it does not work as intended, and the user will be forced to invite customers manually. The Trustpilot plugin when integrated with WordPress never works and keeps giving error messages.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Using Trustpilot is a good move for any business that intends to build online reputation and attract more customers. It comes with free package that new users can start with before switching to the premium one.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I had mentioned earlier, I am using Trustpilot to build my business credibility. I am also using this business application as an indirect way of advertising my business. When a customer searches for my business reviews and come across 5 star ratings, their probability of making a purchase increases.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Stephenson,

Thanks for taking the time to share your Trustpilot experience with us - we appreciate the feedback. We love hearing that you're enjoying integrating Trustpilot invites to send after an order has been completed.

We're so sorry for any trouble when it comes to inviting customers and want to help out as best possible. If you're still having trouble with this feature, please get in touch with your Customer Success Manager or our Support Team so we can lend a hand. We'll also be sure to pass along this feedback to the team.

  ### 15. A great way to get insight on softwares

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jane W. | Content Writer and Internet Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Trust pilot for me is a great tool to identify the strength and weaknesses by businesses before making software purchase decisions.
Trust Pilot has an incredible user interface and also great customer support.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Trust pilot is not as powerful a tool as other tools like Gartner and g2 crowd. It has not evolved greatly and does not have as many users, therefore, may be limited when it comes to diverse opinion.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trust pilot is a friendly tool that is very insightful when it comes to software insights. It has a lot of customer opinion which has been very crucial to helping us make software purchase decisions.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Jane,

  ### 16. Was a customer at a web-to-print ecommerce website

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Its short after one week got an email to fill in a review. Worked simple, fast. And you can see easily other reviews of toe website. You can see it often in Google when you search for a specific company. WHen you see a positive review you can clearly see if the company it good or not. I buy products a lot on websites but i do check often their avarage review rate. Some reviews are over the top. But most are great.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Works great but starts are a bit too big and you can only give start not 1 to 10. If you dont fill it in you get a couple more emails which is a bit overrated I prefer to have just 1 reminder. Otherwise when you see another mail of trustpilot I will dump it into the spam folder which will cause that emails from trustpilot will get flagged sooner as spam.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Seek some companies using trustpilot and see it for yourself. Its prety good and the plugins are great but make sure you implement them well. Its possible to add trustpilot on google business which is awesome

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving reputation of the brand i buy from. If everybody does it we all can easily see which company it good trustwortly. There are a lot of companies on the web who are fake or not capable of making sure their products are of good quality.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback! It's great to hear that you're enjoying using Trustpilot to read reviews before buying online.

We'll definitely let our team know of your feedback around your user experience and review reminders. If you have any other questions or concerns in the future, please don't hesitate to get in touch!

  ### 17. Seamless Product/Service Review System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessel S. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Love the fact we were able to directly plug this into woo-commerce and automate the collection of reviews. Great all-round product and it has really allowed us to improve our companies ROAS. Do not hesitate to use trustpilot, really adds value to your brand image.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

They do charge a monthly fee for their services however as long as you are actively collecting reviews it is worth the amount paid.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Ensure you are actively collecting reviews and also dealing with any issues customers may have. Its not always an issue if you do something wrong as long as you provide support after.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helped us give our customers more confidence with our brand whilst being transparent.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Jessel,

Thanks for the review! We love hearing that you're enjoying using Trustpilot and our integration with WooCommerce. Please don't hesitate to reach out in the future with any questions, concerns, or feedback.

Let's upgrade the world with reviews!

  ### 18. Fantastic Springboard For Our Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam K. | Quality Assurance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

TrustPilot gives us instant feedback from our thousands of monthly customers, increasing reputability, trust and visibility amongst future customers.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

It's not easy to challenge unjust reviews. We're happy to take bad ones when we're in the wrong but we can prove with recorded calls that the customer has plain lied in their review for instance and it hasn't been overturned, affecting our overall score.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Encourage as many customers as possible to increase market awareness. It's a fantastic tool that we're running with for the long term.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing awareness and reputation amongst potential customers and giving an opportunity for customers to provide honest feedback on the service they've received.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Adam,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. It's great to hear you've upped your company's game by collecting reviews on Trustpilot.

We're so sorry for any trouble when going through our reporting process on Trustpilot and will let our team know of your comments. If you ever have any questions or concerns around reviews left for your company, please don't hesitate to get in touch - we're here to help!

  ### 19. Good Tool to use for businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tharwuah S. | Senior Operations Manager (New Market Business), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

It's a great tool to use for businesses, it will show you or your visitor, how your business ranks and how many stars it got from your customers. It helps improve your interactions with your customers.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Nothing so far. It worked 100 % for me.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

It's really good and you can keep up with your customers as this will help you improve your business by knowing what they want by implementing trust pilot into it.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had no problems with it. It was simple enough to put the coding in my website since I'm not a good at coding. They tell you exactly what you need to do.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Tharwuah,

Thanks for the review! We love hearing that you're enjoying powering your business forward with Trustpilot and customer reviews.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch in the future with any questions, concerns, or feedback.

  ### 20. Great easy to use service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yuval Y. | Enterprise Agile Consultant, SAFe Fellow/SPCT, Scrum.org PST and Head of AgileSparks in the US, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

It's very easy to setup, to integrate invitations with the way we do our business. I managed to integrate it via zapier with eventbrite our event ticketing system as well as a google sheet we use internally. it works smoothly now. integrating the widgets into our site and using different tags for different pages was very useful as well.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

seems like deliverability of invitations might be an issue - or at the minimum it would be nice to get some creative ideas from trustpilot for how to improve the deliverability, open and click rate on invitations we're sending. They do provide good templates, but maybe some a/b testing for this important piece would be nice.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm adding social proof to my event registration and description pages as well as my site in general - differentiating us from competitors. We're well on our way to the 100-reviews threshold in which Google hopefully will start displaying us as a trusted brand that is reviewed.

I'm also learning more about what's working and resonating with our students based on the review process.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Yuval,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! We love hearing that you're enjoying a seamless Trustpilot experience so far.

We never want to make using our platform difficult, so we'll be sure to pass along your feedback regarding invitations over to our team to improve upon.

We hope you will continue powering your business forward with Trustpilot reviews!

  ### 21. Good platform for automatically collecting reviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua V. | Webmaster, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

The tools for automating requests for reviews from customers are really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

The cost is high. The widget to embed ratings or reviews in email campaigns didn't work, and the solution they offered me was to not use the email builder offered by Infusionsoft, but instead create an entire HTML message from scratch. (Obviously, this isn't a solution at all.)

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automatically collecting third-party-verified reviews on an ongoing basis. Star ratings showing up in Google is a great benefit.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Joshua,

Thanks for the review. We love hearing that our automation tools are working well for your company.

Our apologies if our solution to embed reviews wasn't what you were looking for - we definitely try to give the best support to all our customers and will let the team know of your feedback. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with your Customer Success Manager or our Support Team if you have any other questions - we're here to help you make the most of your Trustpilot account.

  ### 22. Trustpilot

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

The grading system here is really accurate to matching credibility. This has helped in the growth of our business

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Some more enhancements or advanced features would be nice

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Trustpilot is very well known, you will feel trusted using this tool.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing our customer base through social media.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Nicholas,

Thanks for the review! We're glad to hear that Trustpilot has helped grow your business.

We'll be sure to let our development team know of your comments regarding more advanced features. If you have any specific recommendations, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

  ### 23. Very convenient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I love the fact that your customers can rate the service they have received from you and make the prospective customers know how good the company is. I especially love the 1-star customers, as they really show you where you need improvement.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I hate the fact that it allows customers who are I - rate to post more than 1 review. So they will bomb the reviews and it does not really have an honest effect on the situation or company.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

It is a really good software platform for QA purposes and also to show new prospective customers how good other clients feel about your product and services.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We resolve most of our customer care issues with Trustpilot as it is the platform we use for customers to voice their experiences - good or bad

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for sharing your experience with us! It's great to hear you're enjoying collecting customer feedback and learning where your company should improve based on your 1 star reviews.

We do allow consumers to leave more than 1 review if it's about a separate buying or service experience, but we'll be sure to let our team know of your comments around this feature.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch in the future with any questions. Let's upgrade the world with reviews!

  ### 24. Simple way to be trustable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

The possibility to send invitations to our customers

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

The organic negative reviews and the blackmail by our customers

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

If you decide to implement it, you have to work on it on a daily basis (to reply to reviews and build your reputation)

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A better trust from prospective clients. I think it is important, in particular for services not well-known, to use this kind of software in order to get trust from people interested

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. It's great to hear that you're enjoying sending invitations to your customers!

We welcome all reviews, positive and negative (within our guidelines), on our platform but can understand the frustration. Negative reviews are no reason to panic - we all know you can’t please everyone all the time! What you can do is use critical feedback in a positive way to learn and improve, and reply to critical reviews to build trust, fix problems and win more business.

Our team works around the clock to safeguard our platform and combat fake reviews. If there’s a review on your company profile page that violates our guidelines, you can report it from your Trustpilot business account for five reasons. Here's a bit more on that: https://trst.pl/2WK9aG8.

If you're ever having any trouble with reviews on our platform, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

  ### 25. Decent review platform that helps our company with web exposure

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Whitney B. | Director of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

The team over at TrustPilot is very helpful with the review generation process. Their UI is very easy to navigate, and reviews were generated quickly.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Their login dashboard could use an update or be able to manage your company from your personal account without multiple logins.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

I would recommend TrustPilot. We've received multiple reviews and a lead through our profile on their platform.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're generating our companies online presence - having reviews on multiple platforms helps us gain a presence in the space of digital monitoring.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Whitney,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We're glad to hear the team has been very helpful when first collecting reviews on Trustpilot.

We'll be sure to let our team know of your comments regarding logging in with your personal account and/or multiple logins. Please don't hesitate to contact us in the future with any questions or concerns.

  ### 26. Great but missing a few things

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake K. | Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I like best the amount of resources they have for me to look at and use to try and find the best way possible to use the resources. I also like the designs of the widgets that I can use on the website. Last but not least, is how easy it is to use their site and see the data that I need to know.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

What I would say I like the least would have to be the start rating at times. For example, You can really be close to 5 but it shows as 4 not 4.5. Also, I dislike the fact that it can be hard at times to get a review that isn't meant to be there off due to the way that this is set up. We have a lot of great reviews but so are there that we have reached out to the customer and tried to make everything right, but still their bad review shows on our page. If this could be easier to fix that would be great.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

To look into what you are about to get and to make sure that you are using all the support they give. If you have a questions they have help and a video for everything!

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving how to get customer feedback in a good return rate for response. Trustpilot also helps us put out what our customers say about us to gain new people on board!

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Jake,

We’re so happy to hear you’re enjoying Trustpilot’s resources, widgets and finding our platform overall easy to use! It's great that you’re getting the most out of your Trustpilot experience by hearing what your customers have to say and gaining new customers with the help of reviews.

We appreciate your feedback regarding our star ratings. Our star rating is meant to show the most accurate TrustScore for a company, but we hear you and have passed along your feedback to our team.

We’re an open platform so anyone who’s had a true buying or service experience can leave a review - positive or negative. However, you’re always free to report reviews that go against our guidelines. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your Customer Success Manager or our Support Team.

  ### 27. Services satisfactory, but predatory pricing and collection

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard K. | Biz Dev and Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Trustpilot would check-in frequently with new features, and were quick to let me know about how these changes affect me.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Without notifying the signatory (myself), they increased the price of the annual subscription by 15%. The customer success agent insisted that there was nothing that we can do. After a lot of back and forth about adding services at no cost (the usual sales pitch), there was no productive conversation to be had. So we ended up disputing the charges. We got a refund for one of the months, but then got charged again. The customer success agent (the very same one) was still trying to upsell me during this process. Honestly, I cannot recommend Trustpilot for any company. I would have appreciated a little transparency and honesty, but got neither from a company that handles reviews.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

There are much better alternatives.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were trying to manage our online reputation, boost our SEO efforts, and gain client feedback. During the year we used it, we were able to see small boosts.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Richard,

Thanks for the feedback. We're sorry to hear that you haven't had the best experience with our platform. We'll be sure to pass along your comments regarding pricing and being charged to the team so we can improve ASAP.

Again, our apologies for the trouble. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any other questions or concerns so that we can do our best to improve your Trustpilot experience.

  ### 28. So Far So Good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany W. | Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I like how easy it was to implement on our Facebook Page since our Recommendations aren't available. I like the star rating next to our name on the Google search and I like how easy putting the TrustBoxes on the website is!

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I don't have dislikes at this time. I only wish I could create automatic response for 4 and 5 star reviews.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Make sure you're ready to get the website updated with the correct TrustBoxes. Google does not allow SEO rich snippets to be included on Home page for websites. The Trustbox coding can luckily be easily updated not to be a rich snippet. Aesthetically, you can't change the color of the reviews in the normal business plan.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are no problems. We're fairly new to the platform, we would heave like to upload all of our information from AskNicely over to Trustpilot. It feels like 150,000 responses went to waste since we switched to them. The format to upload files to the "Get Reviews" section could be a little less specific. I can't just upload a csv file with first row headings.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Brittany,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! It's so great to hear you've had a seamless experience implementing Trustpilot. We definitely get the want to have macros when responding to 4 & 5 star reviews, and have let our team know of your comments to look into for the future.

Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns in the near future. We hope you'll continue powering your business forward with Trustpilot reviews!

  ### 29. Trustpilot is great software but can be costly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle T. | Production Coordinator, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

TP is excellent for search engine optimization and verifying reviews.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

It can get expensive. Flagging reviews can be a bit complicated.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring and directing reviews to a single platform. Ensuring that when prospective customers search our business online, they are able to find clear and verified customer feedback.

**Official Response from Trustpilot Team:**

> Hi Danielle,

Thanks for the feedback! We love hearing that you're enjoying using Trustpilot for SEO benefits and more.

We do know what we do comes at a cost, but hope our range of plans and pricing helps fit the needs of all types of businesses. If you're ever having trouble flagging reviews, our team would be happy to help out at compliance@trustpilot.com.

Let's upgrade the world with reviews!

  ### 30. Great Review System at a Great Price

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff M. | Digital Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

How easy it is for customers to review our website. We used Reseller Ratings in the past, and it was just no non-user friendly. We get 5x the reviews with Trust Pilot than we did with those guys. Will never go back.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

It can take some time for certain reviews to be removed. Many times our customers write negative reviews about products, not our service, and it can sometimes take up to a week to have them removed.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Try it with the free option first. If it works, then go to the paid option.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reputation management and gaining trust online. We are up against a lot of competitors and want to make sure customers know they can trust us online. Telling people to trust us is not enough. We need to show what our customers think about us as well.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the feedback. We’re so happy to hear your reviewers are finding it easy to share their experiences on Trustpilot and that you’re getting 5x the reviews with our platform - that's awesome!

We totally get the frustration of reviews that aren’t meant to be posted on your company page and our team helps by looking into each reported review as much as possible. You’re always free to report reviews that go against our guidelines and follow up with our team at compliance@trustpilot.com with any urgent questions or concerns.

So glad to hear you’re managing your reputation and building trust with Trustpilot reviews! Customer confidence is key in this day and age and we’re so here for you using Trustpilot to build that with yours.

  ### 31. Absolutely amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Love the ability to show the reviews on our website. With various competitors, it is so important to stand out.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I currently have no dislikes after using it for the last several months.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are finally making each review count - especially when it comes to having the stars show on our Google Ads listing. Just another great way we are setting ourselves apart from our competitors.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the review. It's great to hear you're enjoying showing off your Trustpilot reviews on your website and setting your company apart from your competitors. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions in the future.

Let's upgrade the world with reviews!

  ### 32. TrustPilot really works!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miles B. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

With Trust Pilot they have automated invite system for all verified purchases so all of your reviews are from real customers.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Trust Pilot can be a bit expensive for startups or small business.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Utilize Trust Pilot with Google Customer Reviews for added review count and star rating!

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Trust Pilot having an association with Google Customer Reviews, they will count towards your overall Star Rating and will then start showing on your Organic Searches and Ads!

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Miles,

Thanks for the feedback! We love hearing that you're enjoying inviting your customers to leave reviews on Trustpilot.

We do know what we do comes at a cost, but will definitely let our team know of your feedback regarding pricing.

We hope you'll continue to power your business forward by collecting Trustpilot reviews!

  ### 33. Poor fit for a B2B or SaaS company, further hindered by lackluster service & support.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

The layout and web widgets are aesthetically pleasing and simple enough to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

The AFS is anemic and extremely cumbersome both to get running and to modify, particularly if tied to CRM software email deployments.

The platform is heavily reviewer biased and provides little functionality or recourse around reviews for its vendor partners. Reviews also require virtually zero useful or actionable information to be approved for publishing, giving prospective buyers very little insight into the product they're considering and doing very little besides aggregating highly superfluous social proof. There is zero lead capability or buyer intent information.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

This service is better suited for B2C, product-oriented companies. If you're making a business decision and not a consumer one, look for information on another platform. If you're looking for a B2B review platform partner, look elsewhere as well.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a review page widget and some perfunctory degree of social proof that has exactly zero influence over the purchase decisions of our prospective buyers.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hello,

Although we don't strive for a 0 star, we definitely appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear you've found our site layout and widgets aesthetically pleasing.

We try to make our AFS system and other features as easy to use as possible and apologize for any trouble. We find that our review form asks for the main points that should be addressed when consumers submit feedback, but we'll definitely take a look at further and see if there's anything we can do to improve.

Our platform is meant to support all types of businesses and our team would be happy to help you make the most of your Trustpilot experience. Please feel free to get in touch with our Support Team if you'd like our team to lend a hand.

  ### 34. Easy to use ranking software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fei Z. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

It is very easy to use and see the result immediately.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

It is very expensive especially for small and medium size business since after all, what it can do is limited.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

It is a very good software if you have unlimited resource and desperate to have good review system. If you are a small business with limited resources, it'd better to try something else because what review can bring is very limited any way. It does help though, just not worth to pay so high price.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have customers' review comments so that new users may use as reference to join. It has some effect to attract new comers since you can leave only the ones with good rank

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Fei,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! It's great to hear you're finding our platform to be easy to use.

We do know what we do comes at a cost, but will be sure to pass along your feedback to our team. Please don't hesitate to contact your Customer Success Manager so we can make sure you're getting the most out of your Trustpilot plan.

We hope you'll continue powering your business forward with Trustpilot reviews!

  ### 35. Outstanding Service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Calex G. | Head of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Ease of use, professional team, invitation tool as well as the overall flexibility of the solution.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Not much. So far everything has been really good.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

It's a great tool to get client feedback and also to promote your services.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a new brand entering the market, getting reviews from our customers was the best way to promote our service and reassure prospect clients about the quality of our solutions.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Calex,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We love hearing that you're enjoying a seamless, flexible Trustpilot experience so far.

If you ever come across any questions or concerns in the future, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

  ### 36. Excellent platform for service and product reviews

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hot Chocolate D. | Managing Partner , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Very transparent, easy to use and useful platform to gather reviews and improve both services and products and customer service. Useful for SEO too. Great backend.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

It would be great to migrate and replicate the product reviews generated on TrustPilot to other sites and marketplaces (like Walmart.com, Amazon, etc...)

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our SEO is improving. Also, the confidence it creates on our e-commerce site should help improve conversion rates.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

  ### 37. Perfect Fit

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cam B. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I really value the rich snippets that show up in google searches.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Better explanation or implementation of how to get verified reviews.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Trustpilot is by far the most polished service out there. Implementation and learning the platform is incredibly easy and equally valuable to your company.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a growing company, we needed to address building a reputation that is searchable.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Cam,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. It's great to hear you're finding the rich snippets in searches to be helpful - that's what we're here for. To help company's up their game with reviews!

Please feel free to reach out in the future with any questions. We hope you continue enjoying your Trustpilot experience.

  ### 38. Decent platform, willful disregard for integrity of reviews

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zeke A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Solid platform and useful dashboard features.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

As others have noted, the available mechanism to alert Trustpilot of reviews that are fraudulent or otherwise violate their own User Guidelines is very poorly designed. It seems that TP doesn't actually want companies to report offending reviews. If you are able to successfully report an offending review, prepare for a response from the TP "compliance" team that ranges from unhelpful to hostile. In several years as a TP customer, I have reported a handful of invalid reviews. Rather than being appreciative of these being brought to their attention the TP "compliance" team has routinely been dismissive without making any apparent effort to determine the veracity of the reviews or confirm that they comport with the TP User Guidelines.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Explore other, less expensive solutions if you don't need all of the bells-and-whistles. Do not expect to receive any meaningful support from their "Customer Success" team. If you have an issue with an invalid or fraudulent review, their "compliance" team is basically useless and you're likely to be stuck with the review whether it's fake or duplicate.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fact that TP is a third party adds to credibility of the reviews that our company earns. The benefits are difficult to quantify, but because of our high score we're likely viewed favorably to customers that are shopping around.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Zeke,

Thanks for the feedback. Our compliance team works hard to investigate reported reviews on their end, but there’s always room for improvement. We’ve already passed your feedback over to our team to improve upon for the future. As always, feel free to follow up at compliance@trustpilot.com.

  ### 39. Super Responsive and Helpful Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crissy B. | Direct Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

My questions are answered quickly and thoroughly. My account rep, Kyra, consistently checks in and is always willing to help me find better ways to streamline our review request process.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Manual process to send request emails. There may be a solution to resolve this in the near future, though.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Do it! It will benefit your marketing and company overall

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trustpilot has helped us achieve our goal to increase our online presence as well as improve our rating. Now, when prospects research our company, we are present with solid star ratings and multiple reviews that strengthens trust of potential customers for us.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Crissy,

Thanks for the feedback! It's so great to hear that Trustpilot's helped your company to achieve the goal to increase your online presence. That's what we're here for - to bring companies and consumers together to create better experiences for everyone!

We'll definitely pass along your comments regarding a manual process for email requests to our Product Team. We hope you continue to power your business forward with Trustpilot!

  ### 40. We've really enjoyed our experience with TrustPilot

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason G. | Digital Marketing Manager, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2018

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

TrustPilot is always rolling out new features and services that make showcasing and capturing our reviews easy. They do a great job of keeping customers updated on new features.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

It can get expensive real fast. For smaller organizations with tight budgets, its hard to put a lot of money into a service, that is really well built and feature-rich, is ultimately just a review site.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Understand what your specific needs and familiarize yourself with the settings, tools and features so that you can quickly see a ROI.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our industry tends to have a bad reputation and it's such a basic service that people rarely think about it when things work well, but because it involves their money, they are quick to leave negative reviews - justified or not - so we really need to make sure that when we have a successful customer experience we can capture that. Trustpilot makes that really easy.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Jason,

We’re so happy to hear you’re enjoying our ever-improving dashboard to help you collect feedback in the quickest and easiest way as possible.

We know what we do comes with a price, but we try to accommodate everyone as best as possible with plans ranging from free to enterprise.

We’re so happy to hear you’re capturing the real feedback from your customers using Trustpilot. We hope you continue to enjoy your Trustpilot experience and feel free to contact us with any future questions or concerns!

  ### 41. Trust Pilot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

The site is used a lot by our customers and provides us with a lot of information to help us build a better rapport with our customers. All of this again allows us to give the customer a better experience and allows us to understand where we are falling short.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Like any site, you are mostly only going to get people that are angry with their products. You will also get some that are happy. Unfortunately, this gives us an inaccurate reading on how the company is doing overall considering there may have been 20 bad reviews 0 good reviews but we sold 1000 parts. In my mind the 980 parts that did not review are happy customers and should effect the score somehow. Sadly this scoring system can give companies and or products a bad name and cause customers to stray away. A good idea may be to say that this part or company has a 2 star rating due to 28 bad reviews however the company has sold 8 million parts.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

You should use this program to enhance your customer service team. Bending your policies to help the folks that took the time to review your site will enhance your score and give the general public and better view of your company.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best part about this is you get a customers point of view in the raw. This allows you to fully understand how the customer feels and try to work on it if it is within your companies policy to do so.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Mark,

We’re thrilled to hear you’re using your customer feedback to power your business forward.

We’re sorry for any trouble with our rating process. We’ll definitely look into adding more details about the reviews that play into a company’s TrustScore. As of right now, we rank a company based on all reviews left on Trustpilot. You can always work with your Customer Success Manager for tips and tricks on how to up your game and gain more reviews for your Trustpilot page.

We’re so happy to hear you’re using the feedback from Trustpilot reviews to up your company’s game. That’s what we’re here for - to bring companies and consumers closer together to create ever-improving experiences for everyone!

  ### 42. Trust Builder

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Trustpilot provides a mechanism for our clients to easily provide testimonials related to our services. Our ability to display non-partial testimonials helps prospective clients feel more comfortable doing business with our organization.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

If a client posts a review and accidently hits the wrong number of stars, they are unable to go back and correct the mistake. We've had an instance where we had a glowing review, but only 1 star because the client was unable to fix the error.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Great method to track testimonials.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trustpilot provides us the ability to show funders and prospective clients the results and help that we have provided to our current clients. It provides a sense of comfort to prospective clients prior to them contacting us for help.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hello,

Thanks for the review - we love hearing that Trustpilot's helping your company build trust and confidence for current customers and potential new customers.

We try to make posting and editing reviews to be an easy task, but totally understand that it may be difficult for some customers to update these once posted on Trustpilot. Our Support Team's always here to lend a hand and help walk those customers through instructions on how to edit or update existing reviews. Please feel free to give them a shout or have your customers get in touch at support@trustpilot.com.

We hope you continue to enjoy building trust with Trustpilot and create ever-improving experiences for everyone!

  ### 43. So far so good

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prince S. | Chief Flight Instructor, Aviation & Aerospace, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

There are a lot of features that a small business like ours can benefit from. I like the user friendly GUI they have. I like amazingly quick customer/tech support. The graphics etc are great. Their rankings on the search engines are excellent.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I see that some other reviewers have already mentioned this, but then again, this is something that matters to us as well. I do not like (logically) asking our customers to leave us a review at multiple different venues. Asking them to leave a review on trustpilot, and ignoring google or facebook is something that is not ok. I wish there was a way for aggregation of all reviews in one place, here with trustpilot

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fighting a good fight with our New Born competitions. We have not had a competition in over 20 years. And now there is one in each city. We have many reviews on google, but our competition is loading up with new reviews on trustpilot. Now we have an account as well.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Prince,

Thanks for the review. We're so happy to hear you're enjoying many different aspects of Trustpilot including our dashboard, quick support responses, and SEO rankings!

We appreciate your feedback regarding aggregating reviews from different venues and have passed along your feedback to our product team.

We hope you continue to enjoy your Trustpilot experience and please feel free to contact us in the future with any questions or concerns.

  ### 44. Improved Reviews, Better Ratings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

The invitations are the easiest to send out. They are simple, clean and good design. Our reviews are extremely important to our company to show our potential customer the value we can bring as well as all other satisfied customers.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

The cost is a little high for generating reviews on a third party website. Would love to see a filter option and an easier way to upload contacts without needing to download the template file and format our file to match the exact names of the columns.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Reviews are extremely important and the more you can diversity and utilize all your resources you will benefit from customer retention and repeat customers.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving reviews, Rich snippets on website. The ability to see reviews on the google serp is a huge benefit and while it lasted, the google adwords connection was also beneficial.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Taylor,

So glad to hear you're finding our invitations easy to send out and well-designed.

We know what we do comes at a cost so we offer plans ranging from Free to Enterprise to try and match everyone's needs. Feel free to contact your Customer Success Manager if you'd like to chat about making the most of our platform.

We hope you continue enjoying using our platform and upping your company's game with Trustpilot reviews!

  ### 45. Solid platform with growing credibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt U. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

We are happy with:
1. The types of reviews that Trustpilot is producing
2. The ease of using almost all features
3. The ability to verify clients

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I wish there were an easier way to specify certain variables using the Automatic Feedback Service invitations (for instance, using specific tags in the body of the email). Trustpilot requires a specific snippet of code if I want to specify certain variables. Our current CRM is stripping out the additional snippet of code, making it difficult to implement.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are receiving far more client feedback than ever before. We can leverage this feedback to instill confidence in new clients and address problems that may not have been otherwise brought to our attention.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Matt,

Thanks for the review. So glad to hear you're finding Trustpilot easy to use and are getting some great feedback from your customers.

We definitely understand your comments regarding our AFS feature and have let our team know of your feedback. In the meantime, our Support Team is always here to lend a hand if you'd like any assistance or tips from them. Feel free to give them a shout at support@trustpilot.com.

We're thrilled you're receiving more feedback than ever and that it's helping your clients to have confidence in your business. That's what we're here for - to create ever improving experiences for everyone. We hope you continue to enjoy your Trustpilot experience!

  ### 46. Great tool for any business, regardless of size!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

First and foremost, the level of attentiveness and support we've received from the Trustpilot team is unequaled. We've had some challenges with getting buy-in from our service teams, and Trustpilot has been great with providing resources and brainstorming ideas to get team members to send review invites to customers.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I can't think of a single downfall at this point...

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We partnered with Trustpilot because we wanted to have a fair, unbiased platform where our clients could go to review our services. We were having issues with Facebook, where trolls were posting negative reviews about our company and employees, and Facebook was not responding to our requests that they review and remove the reviews. Trustpilot posts all reviews, but they also have a fair process where a company can dispute a review posted by a non-customer and have the review removed. Additionally, the reviews our customers post on Trustpilot give us great insight into what we're doing right as a service provider, and areas where we need to improve. Invaluable insight.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hello,

Thanks for the feedback! Our team is always here to lend a hand and are so happy to hear you've experienced our 5 star support. It's nice to hear you're taking the feedback from your Trustpilot reviews and using it to up your company's game. We hope you continue to build trust, collect reviews, and enjoy using our platform!

  ### 47. Our trusted review site

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kasey S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

We love that we can connect Trustpilot to our personal website and our facebook platform. It makes it easier for people to see our reviews. I also love that I can use a template for each invitation to review. It makes it so much easier and quicker to send multiple review requests out.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

There's really nothing I don't like about trustpilot. It's been a great tool for our business and I love that we can place our review where we'd like.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

I definitely recommend Trustpilot to anyone. This has helped our reviews for our company tremendously.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to post our reviews on a trusted site and are able to request reviews with a single template. I love how simple it is to use and love that they are all stored in a single area.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Kasey,

Thanks for the review! Your feedback means a lot to us and we're thrilled to hear you're loving using Trustpilot to collect reviews. We hope you continue to power your business forward and enjoy your Trustpilot experience.

  ### 48. Great product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacey R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2018

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

Interface is very user friendly and easy to get the hang of, even for someone that is not very tech-savvy. Overall I like the look and feel and feel very comfortable using it.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

Occasionally crashes and takes a long time to load, but after refreshing the page, the issue usually resolves itself

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We love seeing our high star rating appear in Google searches and linking our profile page on our website. We believe our many positive reviews have given potential customers the push to become actual customers!

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Stacey,

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We're so happy to see that you're finding our dashboard to be user friendly!

We know that there are times when our site can load slowly, but our development team is looking into fixing this so we can avoid any slow load times in the future.

It's so great that your feedback on Trustpilot has put trust and confidence into your customers and potential new customers. We hope you continue to enjoy your Trustpilot experience and please feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions in the future!

  ### 49. Leg up on our competition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I like that our star rating is shown alongside our site in organic searches.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

I wish we could auto-tag our reviews. It would save our staff some time.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Make sure you have someone who can tag the reviews so you can utilize the widgets and marketing tools.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted a star rating to show with our Google ads. It's nice social proof.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback. We're so happy to hear you're enjoying seeing your star rating in organic searches to up your social proof game.

We do offer a pre-tag feature, but we'll definitely pass along your feedback regarding being able to auto-tag reviews. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact your Customer Success Manager or our Support Team.

  ### 50. TrustPilot is a great addition to the company!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Callie W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Trustpilot?**

I like that I am all the time finding new features through Trustpilot. Most recently, it's been the review image generator and adding a Trustpilot tab on our Facebook.

**What do you dislike about Trustpilot?**

My small company easily gets overwhelmed with too many features and integrations, it's hard to know what we need and don't need.

**Recommendations to others considering Trustpilot:**

Take the time to go through each menu option and learn what features are personal and applies to your company.

**What problems is Trustpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trustpilot is perfect for my small online only, retail business. Word of mouth and legitimate reviews are a great selling point.

**Official Response from Brittany Bono:**

> Hi Callie,

Thanks for the review. We're definitely glad to hear you're enjoying our features and platform.

We definitely don't want you or your team to feel overwhelmed with too much. If you ever feel this way, please feel free to get in touch with our team at support@trustpilot.com so we can try to help answer any questions you may have.

We're so happy that you're enjoying your Trustpilot experience and hope you continue powering your business forward with our service.
