As a marketing professional, not an accountant, TrulySmall has been a great resource for me to easily put together invoices and supply to the client. The dashboard also helps me track paid, unpaid and overdue invoices, reminding me to stay on top of the bottom line! I highly recommend, especially for those starting off with their own business! My only criticism of TrulySmall is that they automatically send invoices for me to the Client. This may be ideal for some users, but I prefer to manage these correspondences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TrulySmall is super easy to use which I really like since I've never had to send invoices before. Since I only send invoices to one business I like that I can easily duplicate previous invoices and switch out my hours and dates for the pay period. I also love being able to see that the recipient viewed it so I can keep track of where things are at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I only send invoices to one business which are handled by the same accounts payable personnel. They only pay their invoices in checks though so I have to manually mark the invice as paid either when I get my check or AP forwards me one of their payment reminders and tells me it's been mailed. I'd like for their to be a feature for accepting checks where the payer can input the check number and mark the check as sent once it's mailed, that way I know my payment is on the way, AP can mark it as paid on their end along with the check number for both our records, and neither of us have to deal with payment reminder emails in the period between when the check is sent and I get it. I love how easy it is to generate new invoices. All my info is saved and populated for my next invoice. I love the reminders of payment I receive as well. It just makes billing an easy part of my business, finally! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm likely to leave truly for another filing app because truly doesnt have savable options for easier charging. I run a service base business, and the products which i sell are items that i have to type in for every invoice. If there was an option to save products, services, and the corresponding prices, this would truly be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about TrulySmall is how convenient it is. The website is very user-friendly and there is an app for your phone so you can send an invoice from anywhere! You can also save client information so if you work with the same clients over again, it's very easy to send them another invoice. I also love it during tax season I can double check that my 1099s are correct based off of the invoices that I've sent out over the year when I can look at all of my invoices in one place. I don't see many downsides with TrulySmall, just features I wish they had included in their subscription price. For example, I wish there was a way to manually track business expenses. My business is indeed truly small so I don't have many, but over the course of the year I could forget about some when it comes to figuring out my tax deductions. If I were to have an app, ideally within my invoicing app, that I could upload a photo of a receipt with a notes of my business expense, that would be amazing. I didn't like the pricing as much. I used it only for invoicing but the price could be a little cheaper. Also I tried the support for issues and took a little longer than expected Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
