**What do you like best about Truffle?**

I compared several vendors. Truffle was both (A) by far the easiest to use in terms of getting started and (B) had the best candidate evaluation capabilities.

Other platforms required lengthy interview/job setups with multiple steps and candidly way too much information required in order to just get the interview setup.

Re: The candidate evaluation, all of the candidates are put in a single list, automatically scored using their AI, summaries of each candidate and of each individual question generated for easy viewing.

**What do you dislike about Truffle?**

Candidate management isn't the easiest. I think this function is underbuilt in the system, but it's been improving.

**What problems is Truffle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring effectively. We need to screen lots of candidates. Scheduling 1 on 1 interviews to screen is time consuming and results in wasted time if candidates no show or end up being bad fits. This problem has been exacerbated with recent AI generated applicant answers making it very difficult to screen without a live interview. Truffle's 1 way interviews has acted as an additional screening layer that helps solve this.

**What do you like best about Truffle?**

I love how I'm able to set up an async video interview with Truffle, which quickly helps me weed out candidates that are a poor fit. The platform offers AI-suggested interview questions based on the job description I provide, and even when I create my own questions, it gives me grading criteria. For instance, if I ask about a process, it grades on how detailed the responses are. After candidates submit their video interviews, the Truffle AI goes through and grades everything, providing a percentage on how much of a match a person is for my position. Their support team is amazing, answering within just a couple of minutes. The platform keeps improving, and I appreciate the added features like personality assessments and different screening questions, making it a tool I will use for both overseas and US hires as my team grows. The initial setup was very easy because it's an incredibly intuitive platform.

**What do you dislike about Truffle?**

Since I only use Truffle periodically, sometimes I have trouble with the login after when I'm trying to reactivate my account. However, the support team at Truffle is amazing, and they answer within just a couple of minutes. So it really hasn't been an issue.

**What problems is Truffle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Truffle to manage the overload of overseas job applications. It allows me to set up async video interviews, quickly filtering out candidates who aren't a fit by crafting specific questions. Truffle also grades responses, helping me assess candidate suitability efficiently.

**What do you like best about Truffle?**

Having a recorded interview is one of the best methods in performing a selection, especially for me as an educator at which, sometimes, programs and events require teachers to choose the best candidates among students. Truffle provides the best, easy solution to it as it provides a practical way for us to do so, allowing us to personalise the questions equipped with the feature of AI to save the time.The automatic assessments it provides also enables teachers to save time in grading the students interviews (or even assignments) with an accurate feedback. The customer support it has is also one of the most satisfying aspects for us to use this website as it provides a quick, solutional response without complicated requirements to fulfil. Hence, it is safe to say that the integration of Truffle in educational purposes will bring valuable output for educators (and teachers) to implement it within the teaching learning process in a frequent usage.

**What do you dislike about Truffle?**

The short period of time given for the trial might be one of the unfavourable aspects Truffle has. By reading the terms and conditions thoroughly and making a clear adjustment with the plan, this should not be as issue to deal with.

**What problems is Truffle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Truffle was the best solution we used to complete a selection process among the students to choose the best candidates for a certain program of ours. The limited time we had required us to conduct a recorded interview and Truffle was a one stop solution that, at first, planned to be used as a platform to record the video with the least possibility for the interviewees to conduct any cheating attempts. However, the extra features Truffle provides (such as providing detailed reviews and analysis of the answers) gave valuable benefits that gives us insight for the upcoming usage in the near future.

**What do you like best about Truffle?**

I really loved the user experience and customer support with Truffle. Honestly, it was really, really good. I appreciate being able to view people's videos to assess what I like about them, their vibe, their energy, and how they answer questions. Truffle's AI capability is impressive, allowing me to give custom instructions on what the perfect candidate would look like so it can score people accordingly. It's also very easy to set up. Truffle helps me filter through candidates quickly and effectively, letting me save time by focusing on the best candidates.

**What do you dislike about Truffle?**

The only thing that didn't work as well for me was that the transcript included all the ums, ahhs, and filler words. I brought this up with the support team, and they were so responsive, putting it in their pipeline to fix, which has since been improved.

I use Truffle to quickly filter through many candidates, saving time by interviewing only the best. The video and AI system effectively score each candidate, making hiring faster and more efficient.

**What do you like best about Truffle?**

Previously, we relied on video interview software. While it functioned as intended, I often felt that our decisions were influenced by irrelevant factors, such as a candidate’s location or appearance. The visual elements seemed to bias our impressions, which was concerning. Additionally, video interviews came with higher costs and required extra technology, like cameras and microphones, which added complexity. With Truffle, the process is much simpler and the outcomes have been more than satisfactory. It feels similar to being a judge on the VOICE, where you focus solely on what the candidate says, rather than how they look or present themselves visually. Truffle is very easy to use and is priced fairly. Candidates have also mentioned that they found it straightforward and appreciated not having to record themselves on camera. We plan to continue using Truffle for our recruitment needs.

We have no complaints at this time, and we only anticipate things improving as new features are added. The founders truly understand how to make technology work for small businesses, and we appreciate that.

**What do you like best about Truffle?**

Truffle saves us a massive amount of time in the early stages of hiring. The AI-generated summaries help surface top candidates faster, and we love that we can still watch the full interviews if needed. The setup was super easy—up and running in under an hour—and the candidate experience is smooth and well thought out. It feels like having a smart recruiter on call 24/7. Plus, it’s affordable, which is rare for tools this powerful. The customer support is fantastic, they respond weirdly fast.

**What do you dislike about Truffle?**

No major complaints, but it would be nice to have more integrations with other HR tools like BambooHR or Gusto.

**What problems is Truffle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were drowning in early-stage applications and wasting hours on phone screens that went nowhere. Truffle helped us automate that first round entirely. Now, candidates record responses on their own time, and the AI gives us a clear summary and analysis for each one. **What do you like best about Truffle?**

Truffle is a game-changer for me and has completely revolutionized how I handle the early stages of my interviews. I'm no longer wasting hours scheduling and running interviews over and over again. Instead I just send candidates a link and they can do the interview on their own time.  I get video responses, transcripts, and even an AI summary that highlights strengths. The best part is how accurate it is. I've been using it on a weekly basis.

**What do you dislike about Truffle?**

Not much.  Early on, I had a few questions about customizing things, but the Truffle team was super responsive in helping me get up and running. Over the past few months, the product has become super easy to use. It's a breeze to get up and running now.

**What problems is Truffle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Truffle solves the problem of time-consuming early-stage interviews. Instead of manually scheduling calls and repeating the same questions, I can let candidates respond on their own time and review everything when it fits my schedule. This saves me hours per role and helps me identify top candidates much faster.

**What do you like best about Truffle?**

Truffle allows us to go through the "boring" part of the interview process on candidates ' own time which saves us tons of time as a small business. We are able to hear (and read!!) the entire answer set to the interview questions as well as an incredibly accurate AI summary which allowed us to keep everyone separate, which is so helpful when there is one hiring manager and 80+ candidates.

**What do you dislike about Truffle?**

When we first used truffle, we didn't have a way to rate or add notes to the individual candidates pages. However, I believe that they have since added these features!

**What problems is Truffle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have nearly enough time to actually go through an interview everyone we would love to give a chance to show their stuff. Truffle allows us to give a fair opportunity to everyone while still letting us have full control and visibility on interviews so we can interview in person the most promising candidates.

**What do you like best about Truffle?**

Truffle completely changed how we screen candidates. We no longer waste time scheduling phone screens. Candidates answer asynchronously, and our managers can review responses on their own time. The AI-generated match analysis are surprisingly accurate, and the breakdown of strengths and weaknesses helps us move faster with better confidence. The shareable video links are a huge win for collaboration, especially when we want feedback from others on the team. It’s easy to use and genuinely saves us hours each week.

**What do you dislike about Truffle?**

Right now, we’re using Zapier to push data between systems, and while it works, it adds some setup friction. A few of our hiring managers also asked for anonymization on candidate clips for client-facing use, which would be a great addition. That said, the Truffle team is very responsive, and they’ve already shared timelines for these updates.

**What problems is Truffle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to spend 5–10 hours per open role on manual phone screens; scheduling calls, chasing no-shows, and writing summaries. Truffle completely eliminates that. Now, candidates interview on their own time, and we get structured video responses with AI summaries that help us shortlist in minutes. It’s improved our speed-to-hire, reduced early-stage bias, and freed up our recruiters to focus on higher-leverage work like closing and onboarding. **What do you like best about Truffle?**

Very useful tool for working through a high volume of applicants quickly with a visual of your applicant and comprehensive overview of the candidates skills and traits. One of my first Truffle hires came in and has exceeded their sales goal by 200% in their first month.

Integrations are not robust - YET. But, the Truffle team loves feedback and is open to working with their clients to make them happen.

**What problems is Truffle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run HR and recruiting for a start-up solo. One month I was averaging 300 applicants per week with a goal of filling 40+ jobs within a 2 week timeframe. Truffle made that happen, allowing me to focus my time only on applicants that actually fit the job.
