What I don't like about Truelancer:

The jobs posted are even 2 years old, there is no relevance.

Only a few new jobs are available, you may hardly find any if you're new.

You need to buy monthly subscription - there is no option for an yearly connects (you need to buy connects every month,

Very expensive in terms of cost if you compare with Upwork or any other available platforms (in Upwork you may buy at once only and begin your search for projects but here quite opposite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Truelancer solving and how is that benefiting you?

To be honest, I haven't experienced significant benefits so far. As mentioned earlier, the available jobs seem outdated, and the process of buying connects every month to secure projects is less favorable compared to other platforms where you can utilize existing connects before purchasing new ones. This aspect didn't sit well with me.

However, I must acknowledge the uniqueness of their approach, particularly the concept of contests. It adds an interesting dimension to the platform. Additionally, the interface is remarkably user-friendly, making navigation and interactions seamless.

For this platform to thrive in the competitive market, it needs to focus on engaging a broader audience, both clients and freelancers. This could involve incorporating more features that attract and retain users, enhancing communication channels, and providing additional incentives for active participation.

In conclusion, while the platform shows potential with its innovative contest concept and appealing interface, improvements are necessary to create a more dynamic ecosystem and increase its attractiveness to a wider range of users in the competitive market.
