"User-Friendly System with a Highly Responsive Service Rep"
What do you like best about TriNet?

The system is pretty user friendly, and when I can't figure something out, our service rep is very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

Sometimes our 401K provider and Trinet do not connect as seamlessly as we'd like. For instance, 401K loans don't always come over for payment deduction, but this could be more the 401K provider with the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective HR Solution with Glitchy iPhone App"
What do you like best about TriNet?

I use TriNet for HR work, and I like that it has good customer service. When a change is made, it's implemented quickly and accurately, which is something I appreciate. The most important part of my job is payroll and knowing where my money is going. I have switched banks a few times, and all the changes I have made have been done correctly and swiftly. The initial setup went smoothly for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

The app is a bit glitchy for my iPhone. The screen is tight and hard to read sometimes. It just doesn't look usable on the iOS side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"TriNet: Centralized HR Hub with Easy Setup"
What do you like best about TriNet?

I like that TriNet is a "one-stop shop" for all HR-related tasks like pay and benefits, making it very convenient to have all the necessary information in one centralized area. It's great that I just need to go to one site to access all the info I need, simplifying the process for me. Plus, the initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

The paycheck system is complicated. It's very difficult to identify where my money is going and how my money paid from my employer is broken out by salary, commission, benefits, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Employee Management with TriNet"
What do you like best about TriNet?

I find TriNet really easy to use for managing our leave and attendance. The initial setup was really simple, just creating new passwords, and you're in. I wouldn't be able to list all the problems it solves, but it does a good job because it is so easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

I would like to see our leave time in the system as a total. It does not total the leave time so you can't see what would be, like, loaded up for the year at the beginning. So we know all of our leave time, so we can plan for leave. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly and Reliable, with Minor Security Hurdles"
What do you like best about TriNet?

I find TriNet user-friendly and very easy to use, which makes it easy to maneuver and very reliable. I've rarely experienced technical issues, which is an added plus. The initial setup was very easy, and overall, I feel that it runs the smoothest and has been the most user-friendly system I've used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

The only thing I would like to see change would be having to do the 2 step verification for every sign in, especially when using the same device every day. It is just an added step that I do not feel is necessary for every sign in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Payroll with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about TriNet?

I like that chat agents are readily available. Payroll updates are handled quickly. It's great to have near-immediate access to representatives, even outside of business hours, which saves employee time. The web chat is particularly helpful. Great insurance options (health, dental, vision). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

The link to the retirement portal is broken more than half the time, freezing us out from viewing our balances. Retirement contributions take days to reach the 401k after being deducted from payroll, and the fund options are limited. Plus, each employee is charged $6 a month in fees per 401k. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive HR Hub with Great UI, But Pricey"
What do you like best about TriNet?

I love the user interface of TriNet. All important parts are easy to locate and navigate, making it incredibly user-friendly. The fact that TriNet can function as a comprehensive HR hub is another aspect I appreciate. Everything from payroll to time-off requests and company policies can be managed in one location. This integration of HR tools at one spot cuts down the time that would've been wasted on training, thanks to its ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

The price is a bit steep. I wish they would lower the prices, it feels too high for what it's offering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from kenyatta maxwell of TriNet

"All-In-One HR Solution with Seamless Navigation"
What do you like best about TriNet?

I really appreciate how everything is integrated into one location with TriNet. It's really easy to use and very user-friendly. The ease of navigation stands out, making it simple to handle everything from time cards to payroll and HR forms all from one platform. This integration saves me time because I don't have to visit multiple websites or places to get things done. I like how straightforward and efficient the platform is. "All-in-One HR Docs and Time-Off Tracking, But Slow Punch Clock App"
What do you like best about TriNet?

Trinet keeps all categories in one place, which makes it easier to access these documents. The platform also has features that help me identify my time-off balances, plus a calendar that syncs to my desktop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

The platform runs slowly- especially its third party app that is used for punch card actions, like clocking in and out. the app has several bugs- running slowly, not connecting to data options, incomplete actions (unsuccessful clock in/out attempts). It would be beneficial to have the pages for punch change requests and the timecard easily viewable to aid in editing timecards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Payroll, but Support Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about TriNet?

I like getting paid on time and having health coverage with TriNet. I appreciate the ease of use since it is easy to navigate their platform, just as easy as most other payroll software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

Their customer support is a bit slow. They don't really look into the issue you're trying to solve unless you call them directly. Their chat feature is not helpful. For me, the initial setup was not easy. I guess a company I worked for previously still had my outdated info loaded in their system, and it took a lot of back and forth to resolve the onboarding problems I had.
