What I like best about TriNet is its ability to help small and medium-sized businesses focus on growth by simplifying complex HR responsibilities. TriNet's comprehensive solutions for payroll, benefits, compliance, and workforce management allow companies to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time on their people and business goals. I also appreciate TriNet's commitment to providing expert support and innovative technology that helps organizations create better employee experiences and navigate an ever-changing workplace environment.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I don't have any significant dislikes about TriNet based on my research. Like any growing company, there are always opportunities to continue improving processes and adapting to changing customer and workforce needs. What I find encouraging is that TriNet appears committed to innovation and continuously enhancing its services, which shows a willingness to evolve and address challenges proactively.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet helps simplify HR processes by making it easier to access payroll information, benefits, time-off requests, and other employment resources in one place. This benefits me by providing a more convenient and efficient experience, giving me quick access to important information and support when I need it.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

TriNet is often most valuable for its combination of HR technology and hands-on HR expertise. Rather than providing only software, TriNet helps businesses manage payroll, benefits, compliance, risk management, and employee onboarding while offering access to HR professionals who can provide guidance on complex employment matters. This support can reduce administrative workload, help companies stay compliant with regulations, and allow leaders to focus more on growing their business, making Support and Onboarding one of TriNet’s strongest advantages.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

One area where TriNet is often viewed as less compelling is its AI and intelligence capabilities. While the platform excels in HR support, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance services, it is generally not known for advanced AI-powered analytics, automation, or predictive insights compared with some newer HR technology providers. Additionally, because TriNet combines software with outsourced HR services, some organizations may find the pricing higher than software-only alternatives, which can affect perceived ROI for businesses that do not require extensive HR support.

TriNet helps our business solve critical HR challenges by streamlining payroll, benefits administration, compliance management, and employee onboarding in a single platform. Its user-friendly interface and integrations with other business systems improve efficiency and reduce manual processes, while reliable performance supports day-to-day HR operations. The greatest value comes from TriNet’s HR expertise and support services, which help us navigate complex employment and compliance requirements without expanding our internal HR team. Although its AI capabilities are less advanced than some newer platforms, TriNet delivers strong operational value by simplifying workforce management and allowing us to focus on core business objectives.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I like how organized the page is. The time off tab and benefits tab is were I explore the most on triNet.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I really dont like when trinet takes you to an external page when you are navigating the website. I know it doesnt take long to leave TriNet and open up another site, however, it can get annoying when the prompt opens explaining that you are leaving Trinet for another link.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One problem the TriNet help me with is organization. Everything work related can be pulled up in TriNet as far as pay stubs, time off, and information reguarding benefits. All of this information is store on one webiste and is organized in a way that is it easy to find and it helps me keep track of work related thing easily. It provides a fast way of pulling this information without going to different places to look for it.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

It’s easy to find information about my pay and benefits. The dashboard has a very intuitive UX, and I’m never more than a few clicks away from the information I’m looking for or the task I need to take care of.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

It would be really helpful if my employer integrated the paid time off request feature into TriNet and also synced our company paid holidays within TriNet. Ideally, all of these features would be available in TriNet so I wouldn’t have to log into multiple, disconnected portals to manage time off and holiday information.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet helps me quickly find my payroll and benefits information in a clear, well-organized way. Also, because my employer isn’t headquartered in the US, TriNet provided the forms and process I needed to request medical leave protected under my state law. It saved me a lot of headaches, since my company’s human resources team wouldn’t have had those forms readily available, and that likely would have slowed down the leave request process.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

The platform is really easy to use and navigate. It offers lots of HR-rich features that our staff enjoy like benefits, Trinet perks, The employee assistance program through AllOne Health, and the reimbursement intergration. I was able to connect TriNet to Quickbooks for faster and more accurate reporting. The price is very competitive and has provided a high ROI for our business which is important as a Non-profit. The customer service has been excellet. The entire Trinet team is very responsive, professional and helpful with any questions I have. They also added new AI features recently which has been great for our staff to ask questions and get answers quickly.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I am not a huge fan of the reporting section and wish they would make it easier to create custom reports. They did offer to walk me through this section more and get more training, I just don't find the interface very intuitive.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to make some changes to our PTO policy and TriNet was very helpful in resolving this for us.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

Time & Attendance platform makes it easier to track hourly employees and the seamless upload to the payroll platform cuts down on my hours of processing payroll.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

We have experienced issues with how Trinet calculates hourly rate for salaried employees. Instead of taking an annualized hourly rate (salary divided by 2080) they calculate by dividing salary by days in the payroll. That calculation only works if you are on a bi-weekly or once a month payroll cycle. We pay semi-monthly, so there are variances in how many days are in each payroll cycle. This impacts the hourly rate and makes it a variable rate as well, which means that PTO hours are valued differently depending on which payroll cycle they land in.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trinet takes care of state and federal compliance, which has been a huge lift off our team. We have employees across 9 different states and it was a big burden to ensure we were compliant in each state.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I really appreciate TriNet for making it real easy to punch out and do all my professional administration work. I like the punch out feature and clocking in. The user interface is very easy, which I find helpful when clocking in and out, and going to lunch. I also enjoy the calendar feature that shares the paydays, pay periods, and holidays for my company. It helps me know what day is a payday by simply checking the time tab, where it's right there for me. The initial setup was very easy, and I got it on the first try. Plus, TriNet saw the problem of me having to log in on multiple different apps and is a platform where it's all in one, all inclusive, so I don't have to use multiple platforms.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I wish that they offered early wage access, so you can possibly access your wages early.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet solves the problem of logging in and clocking across multiple apps by providing an all-in-one platform. I appreciate how it makes punching out and professional administrative work easy, with a helpful calendar showing pay periods and holidays.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I do love having access to my health benefits, 401k, time off requests, and salary information all in one program. It saves me time each instance that I'm trying to access one of these tools.  Having these features all integrated into one program also saves me from having to remember a separate password for each.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

i feel like the benefits side by side comparison is overwhelming and doesn't provide enough support in helping to choose the appropriate health benefits. I feel like benefits enrollment should provide a survey that once answered by employees, provides the best benefit suggestions for each employee.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trinet has saved me hours per year that would otherwise be spent searching through various apps to find different benefit, salary, time off, and other employee information. It's also great being able to see my time off and the upcoming holiday schedule.

I’ve had a great experience using TriNet. The platform is very user-friendly and easy to navigate, especially when it comes to managing timesheets and accessing employee information. Everything is organized clearly, making it simple to find exactly what I need without wasting time searching through multiple pages. Submitting and reviewing timesheets is quick and straightforward, and I appreciate how accessible important employee details, payroll information, and HR resources are within the system. The layout feels intuitive, even for users who may not be very tech-savvy. One of the standout features of TriNet is the excellent benefits and perks it offers. From healthcare options to employee support resources, the platform provides valuable tools that make managing work and personal benefits much easier. I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about it.

At first, I experienced a few challenges while setting up my account and updating my benefits as a new user, but after contacting TriNet support, I received quick and very helpful assistance that resolved my issues efficiently.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

Everything is in one place, which makes it really convenient. The navigation is smooth and intuitive, and it’s easy to complete the tax W-4 form without getting lost. The paycheck information is also clearly explained and presented in a straightforward way, so it’s simple to understand. It is well integrated with benefits and 401K products. It can access be access from multiple devices and load very quickly.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

There’s nothing specific, but it doesn’t give an option to remember the login on a specific device. It asks for two-factor authentication every time I log in. It would be better if it could skip the TFA for a few months once it has been validated.

I am the end customer but for me it gives me access to all my HR related things in once place

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I love that TriNet, over the three and a half years we've been using it, has never had a payroll issue or mistake. It's reliable in ensuring there are no payroll misses, which is incredibly important to me. The initial setup was very easy, and the implementation was super easy and very efficient. The advisers working with us were professionals, always adhering to timelines, which made the process smooth.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I find that TriNet sometimes forgets to inform employers about a few things they miss. For example, if an administrator assigned to an account is making errors or doesn't update the NN records, TriNet does not send any email or confirmation before terminating. That's something they could improve.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use TriNet for the entire employee life cycle management, from onboarding to offboarding, including I-9 and background verifications, payments, and vendor integration. It's a one-stop solution for all HR needs.

I love how it categorizes and organizes work information -- it's easy to navigate and I never have to think longer than half a second to figure out where the information I am looking for is on the site

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

When the inbox notifications don't disappear once I've already read the info. And it isn't linked to our work calendar and I'm unsure if that's possible?

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are so many people and integrations like calendars to update when I take time off -- trinet updates everyone for me, and keeps track of how many hours I have left. In general, HR policies, taxes, company specifics are hard to keep track of and Trinet both keeps track of the details and provides easy access to the policies/ documents/ fine print.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

TriNet has helped simplify payroll and HR for our company. From a finance side, it keeps payroll organized and reduces the amount of manual work we have to handle internally. The platform is straightforward to use, and processing payroll is consistent and reliable.

I also like the support from their team. When issues come up, they respond quickly and help resolve things without delays, which is important for staying on schedule with payroll and compliance.

Overall, it has been a dependable system that helps keep our HR and payroll operations running smoothly.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

One downside is that reporting and customization can be limited. From a finance perspective, pulling very specific data sometimes takes extra steps or exporting and adjusting outside the system.

The platform can also feel a bit rigid in certain workflows. Some processes are not as flexible as we would like, especially when trying to tailor things to our internal structure.

Overall, these are manageable, but improving reporting flexibility and customization would make the system more efficient for day-to-day use.

Before using TriNet, managing payroll and HR tasks required more manual work and coordination across different systems. This created inefficiencies and increased the risk of errors, especially around payroll processing and employee administration.

With TriNet, these processes are centralized, which has improved accuracy and reduced the time spent on administrative tasks. Payroll runs are more streamlined, and reporting is easier to access in one place.

From a finance perspective, this has helped us stay more organized, meet deadlines consistently, and reduce the internal workload tied to HR and payroll operations.

TriNet has been a reliable and efficient platform for managing both payroll processing and expense reporting. The payroll functionality: it runs smooth, accurate, and easy to manage, which gives me confidence that employees are paid correctly and on time. The expense reporting feature is also very user-friendly, making it simple to submit, review, and approve expenses without unnecessary back-and-forth. Overall, TriNet streamlines essential HR and finance processes and helps save time while maintaining accuracy and compliance. When support is requested, there is a quick turn-around.

While there is a learning curve when first getting started, the depth of features ultimately makes payroll and expense reporting more efficient once you’re familiar with the system.

TriNet has been especially helpful in managing employees and payroll across multiple states. With employees working in several different states, compliance and payroll accuracy can easily become complex, but TriNet simplifies this by handling state-specific tax requirements, filings, and regulations in one centralized system. This reduces the risk of errors and removes a significant administrative burden.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

The simplicity of the system, how easy is to submit changes, process payrolls and manage benefits. Reporting is great and data is always available in many formats. Our point of contact is quick in their responses and always very helpful. The collaboration with Trinet works very well for us as it removes a lot of admin work.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

Most of complex queries end up with a customer service team, where someone different pick the ticket up every time, and this makes difficult to have personalised support. Also, when we had situations that we required legal support from Trinet, we were confronted rather than supported. 
Integration capabilities with our HRIS are limited, but this is understandable as Trinet has their own HRIS.

Heavy admin Payrolll and benefits management - this allows our teams to focus on other areas

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I like the TriNet platform, especially the interface, which works well for administrators and employees. I've received a lot of positive feedback from employees about how user-friendly and easy to navigate the platform is. I also appreciate having a great dedicated team to work with, including a payroll specialist, a benefits specialist, and an account representative whom I can approach if I have any questions. It's really helpful to have dedicated representatives instead of calling random numbers.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I think they can definitely get better in time and attendance. That's something they outsource. They can also improve in creating really good ATS systems. It would be great if they enhance their learning platform and make it available to share with employees not on the TriNet platform, even though they have really great videos. I'd also like to see more flexibility and more training on how to use the platform specifically. Everything that TriNet outsources could definitely be better.

I use TriNet for basically all my HR needs, solving pretty much all HR-related problems and ensuring payroll is processed smoothly.

Everything feels well structured, streamlined, and clearly defined. I also really appreciate the immediate support available through the chat whenever I need help.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

The UI for the pre-payroll run is different from the detailed report after the run, which makes it difficult to track changes for each item.

Additionally, there are several cases where the SLA for a specific support ticket can be very lengthy.

TriNet is solving key HR and operational challenges for us—centralizing payroll, benefits administration, and compliance into a single, structured platform. This reduces administrative overhead, mitigates compliance risk, and ensures processes are standardized and well-documented.

The benefit is increased efficiency and reliability: we spend less time on manual HR tasks, have clearer visibility into employee-related costs, and can rely on fast, responsive support when issues arise. This allows us to focus more on strategic priorities and scaling the business rather than day-to-day HR operations

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

What I love most about TriNet is how convenient and straightforward it is! Everything is organized to a tee and easy to navigate through. I love mostly how I can find everything I need without having to reach out to my employer directly.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

The only thing I find a bit of a hassle is the employment verification having to be requested from the source. Outside sources are not always on top of emails to fill out a request on their end. It would be much more convenient to have access to an employment or income verification that can be used both for personal and outsourced use.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The reporting and analytics are really good. Submitting requests and being able to reach a live person is great. The pricing is amazing, and the system’s performance has been solid.

Nothing feels connected—each module operates like a separate system. It takes several clicks just to get where I need to go, and the UI feels outdated. Compared to other HRIS systems, the integrations are lacking, and there is no AI capability. On top of that, every time I reach out to customer service, I get a different answer. There is no automation in onboarding or offboarding at all.  Everything for paperwork or automation needs to happen outside the system.

I’m not sure. I don’t feel connected to, or fully informed about, product updates to TriNet, so it’s hard for me to understand what’s changing.

As an employee end user, I find the UI very clean and intuitive. It’s easy to locate the information I need for my time, paychecks, and benefits, and everything feels straightforward to navigate.

The only feature I wish were available is the ability to select multiple paystubs at once and download them as a PDF, since I like to keep my own files stored locally. Having this option would save me time when downloading.

With previous employers, the dashboard didn’t provide a very good snapshot of all the information available. As an employee end user, I can easily see my available time off, time-off requests, the holiday calendar, and upcoming paycheck information, and I can also do a quick search with AI assistance. Overall, it’s very clean and customizable. Additionally, the integration with Empower is great, allowing me to see a snapshot of my retirement savings and have a quick link to go to the provider and see all of my retirement account information.

I like how the mobile app has pretty much the same features/access as the desktop view. Some apps out there only allow you to do certain features on mobile and I would have to log in on my computer to do certain things. I like that support is available on TriNet so I feel like I can easily get help if needed. I also like the notifications where it reminds you support is available. I like the notification when it's payday and I can review my statements.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I dislike how my enrollment period is different than TriNet's period. Not sure why my company did not align with TriNet's timeframe, but it was so confusing getting emails and notifications about the enrollment process/period when it wasn't actually the time to do so for me. We got emails saying we were auto-enrolled into the same elections as last year, but my HR team had to keep saying to disregard these since our enrollment period is a bit later... This was a confusing experience.

TriNet helps keep everything organized in one place. I can check where my earnings are going in TriNet, I can submit my time off, I can view several benefits available. I know other companies have multiple sites/applications for different options to view benefits etc and I like how everything is in one place in TriNet. I just found out some of the extra benefits TriNet offers (not part of my health insurance or company benefits, but part of TriNet's offerings).

It was easy to get started, and I was able to log in quickly. However, I ran into quite a few UI/UX bugs: some words showed up as random letters and numbers, and certain screens took a very long time to load—often displaying only a white screen. There also wasn’t any loading animation or other indicator to show that it was actually working in the background.

The slow performance and redirects to different pages, there doesn't seem to be great coherency with the app.

TriNet is my employer’s payroll, training, and benefits manager, and it’s the only product I use for my job for those purposes. I’ve used Rippling and Workday in the past, and I do think TriNet is a bit easier to navigate overall.  I am using it now to onboard as a new hire.  I am not, however, aware of he cost for this service so cannot speak to return on investment.

I like TriNet because it's super easy to use and manage. I've never had any issues with forms not being available, and the performance has always been great. Furthermore, their support is very quick, as they helped me out with an issue pretty much immediately. They also rolled out a new AI features recently, which are helpful.

The only real downside about TriNet, for me specifically, is the expense integration. Managing expenses feels a bit tedious sometimes, and while I recognize expense management itself is a boring task, I wish TriNet made things a bit easier.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

TriNet support can be extremely helpful and quick for most of the time, and this is the most important metric for me. Unfortunately there are times when they are also exceptionally difficult to deal with, but those have been rare.
Other factors that weigh in - UI is mostly intuitive, although it is not unusual to have difficulties locating stuff. Eventually asking support staff via chat helps.
Performance wise they perform as expected - things are good, on time, and for the vast majority accurate. When they happen to be not accurate it is a significant uphill trip to get things resolved, but it appears that for the price this is what you get.
They have started implementing AI in the chat - as with most such attempts it is a mandatory waste of time for end users, until you get to talk to a person. On the good side, it is a relatively short trip compared to others.
Their services integrate seamlessly with other providers, which is a plus. In some instances you still have to manage separate usernames and emails, but it is not an issue.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

The push to remove the human - they push and insist that AI gets in the way first. 
A major obstacle is when they happen to be wrong or get stuck on something - it is nearly impossible for them to admit a mistake. Eventually they do the right thing, but not without a major uphill battle first.

TriNet provides a good and comprehensive HR tool, including all aspects of payrolls, taxes, and benefits.

Compared to other websites that I have used in the past, TriNet tells you EXACTLY what needs to still be completed, and has ample links to where information can be found.  The flow of the app is easy to understand, and the suggestions that the app offers through their AI was actually very helpful.  The support meeting prior to us starting to use TriNet answered many of the questions I had ahead of time.  The app performed quickly and pages loaded without any issues. Its amazing how well this website connects the various things I need to work - benefits, tax documents, basic profile info, etc. Everything is meshed together very well.

It wasn't TriNet that I disliked.  The Insurance options seems confusing and overwhelming.

The site is pretty easy to navigate. I mainly use it for my 401K, during Open Enrollment to make benefit selections and to access TriNet Perks for deals on everyday items I need to buy, especially when I’m planning a trip. I have login information for my 401K provider, but I find it rather easy to login to TriNet and then use their SSO to log me into the 401K provider.  During Open Enrollment, it navigates to external sites easily for me to access information that is helpful in making my selections. From time to time, I also log in to review my paycheck information. I typically use the website during daytime/work hours when I need something, but I use the app more during non-work hours—usually to confirm something on my paycheck or to check TriNet Perks for something I’m trying to purchase.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I haven’t experienced any downsides so far. The only improvement I’d like is an easier way to access TriNet Perks without having to log in directly every time—maybe through a separate app or something similar. Other than that, my experience has been fine.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

For me specifically, I came from using different brokers and systems for benefits, 401k, and payroll. The transition to having everything in one place with TriNet was game changing and we saw a significant cost saving. In addition to that, I have had the same support team from the get-go. I don't know if that is the case for everybody, but I have truly valued not having to transition to various people and being able to build that rapport.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I think there are some features I really wish could be implemented. For example, in our old time off system, you couldn't request time off if you didn't have enough hours (it considered any future hours as well). But with TriNet, if a supervisor isn't monitoring every individual's hours and they approve the request, it allows employees to go into the negative. I also wish the time & attendance system allowed for more features. For example, with Paycom, we could set a parameter where employees could not clock back in from lunch until they met their 30 minutes to ensure compliance.  They are small things, but it would really help if those could be enabled.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can't think of anything at the moment. I do appreciate that every time I bring up something I am having an issue with, I do get to speak to a live person to help me better understand the why behind it or most of the time get a resolution.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I love that TriNet is a multi-purpose tool with everything in one interface, which is incredibly convenient. The UI of the main screen is intuitive and easy to navigate, and I've never had feedback from an employee with trouble finding what they're looking for. The initial setup was very easy, and our integration team was excellent, providing helpful insights, especially since we were essentially a brand new team. It's nice to have well-versed people to rely on.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

Certain modules, like the time and attendance module, feel less integrated because they take you off the main platform and into a new tab. The time and attendance module doesn't flow as smoothly as the main interface. It involves more steps and is a bit more confusing, especially for bi-weekly timesheet users, as you have to process the timesheet in that module, download a file, and then reupload it to the payroll module within TriNet.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet helps us stay HR compliant in multiple states and simplifies payroll processing for our employees. It provides access to employee fringe benefits, making everything easy to use through one interface.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

What I like best about TriNet is how seamlessly it brings everything HR-related into one easy-to-use platform. The interface is clean and well-organized, and the navigation tabs make it simple to move between functions like time management, payroll, benefits, and HR documents without having to dig through multiple menus.

I use the Time & Attendance section most often—it’s straightforward to clock in or adjust time punches, and the summary view makes it clear how many hours I’ve logged. The Time Off feature is also great since it shows my remaining PTO balance in real time, and submitting a request takes just a few clicks.

Another part I use regularly is the Benefits section. I can easily compare plan details, check coverage info, or download documents like insurance cards without contacting HR. The Payroll tab is also incredibly handy—it gives me quick access to pay stubs, W-2s, and tax details all in one place.

Overall, TriNet has streamlined my workflow by centralizing everything. I don’t have to email HR for routine questions or forms, and I can handle most tasks—like updating personal info or reviewing pay history—on my own. That convenience has saved me time and reduced small administrative roadblocks day to day.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I don’t have any major dislikes about TriNet at this point. From my research, the company appears well-regarded, though like many growing organizations, there are always opportunities to streamline communication and improve user experience.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I like about TriNet is that it takes a lot of the stress and confusion out of HR for growing businesses. Things like payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee support can become overwhelming really quickly, especially for smaller companies that don’t have huge HR teams. TriNet helps simplify all of that in one place.

I use the payroll tool from TriNet, which helps me keep track of my personal finances. As a senior manager, I often use the time management tool to know who in my team is on vacation, out sick, or having a personal day. I also appreciate their flexible spending component, which helps manage my medical program. I find it really handy to have all these tools at my fingertips. The initial setup was pretty seamless, and there was a lot of training and support, making for a very good implementation. Overall, I find every tool quite handy and valuable for managing our HR needs.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I feel sometimes the communication could be better in terms of hearing from TriNet via email regarding updates and what they need with respect to flexible spending. I had a situation where my daughter was accidentally bumped off the medical program because they said they had emailed me, but I never received any such communication. So I feel like there needs to be a better communication stream.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet manages our human resources, including medical, time off, and payroll. It provides a comprehensive HR solution, keeping everything at my fingertips, and helps track personal finances and team time off.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I love that TriNet has people on standby ready to answer questions in the chat, which makes things so much easier when you are talking to a real person and can get help fast. TriNet helps make payroll submission super easy and quick. I also find it easy for employees to set up their account and select their benefits. Plus, TriNet's UI is very easy to navigate and use; if I need to find something, I can usually search it in the search bar or it will come with instructions on how to do things. The initial setup was very easy and smooth. I think it is the best platform we have used so far, specifically because they provide the most time-sensitive help.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

The required harassment training and reporting/analytics could definitely be improved. The harassment training should automatically be scheduled once an employee is hired and should come with a reminder whenever their required retake is needed, instead of the admins having to manually assign everyone. The harassment module itself is very time-consuming and often takes longer to complete than necessary. The org chart only gives basic information and you can't get more granular or have employees add pictures. The reporting and analytics often don't allow you to structure it how you want, and there are too many reports you can't customize.  I wish TriNet could allow you to customize the home page, so that you can put announcements, links, and other correspondence to the company.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet makes payroll submission easy, provides fast help from real people in chat, simplifies employee account setup and benefit selection, and offers an easy-to-navigate UI.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

I really like the ease of use of TriNet. It's user-friendly and the dashboard gives me everything I need. I also appreciate the ability to chat with an expert for questions on payroll, which is very useful. The payroll feature is great because it simplifies the process; just a few clicks and it's done. The reports are easy to follow and generic enough that we don't need to change or update them to use.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

I would like to be able to customize reports a little bit more easily. It's not very user-friendly or intuitive to customize a report or create a separate report if need be. I would like to be able to have TriNet connected to our HRIS system, Rippling, so we don't have to manually update any new hires that come in and employees will not have to put in their PTO twice in two systems. Also, when trying to run a report or download employees who haven't done their open enrollment, the dashboard only allows downloading in PDF and not in Excel. It would be good to be able to download these things in Excel.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TriNet helps us do payroll accurately and handles state payroll tax filings, so we don't need to hire a full-time payroll person. It's user-friendly, and I can chat with experts for my payroll questions.

I like that TriNet acts as a "One-stop Shop" of sorts for my HR needs. It is incredibly easy to get to the information I need, whether it is paychecks or time-off, etc. 

Every one of the dashboards is responsive, and if I need to use an external link to a seperate website, TriNet automatically logs me in to the next site.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

The major item I dislike about TriNet is the Mobile App. 

It is not as fully functional as the website, which is understandable. It gives a great overview as a whole, but I am missing some features, such as external links to my retirement account.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR processes in my previous experiences were not as intuitive as using TriNet. They were either "in-house" designs or third party websites we used to perform actions for time off and balances. 

TriNet has cut down on time and makes things easy!

I like that TriNet is extremely helpful and customer service oriented, providing solutions when issues arise. I also appreciate the ease of use in some of the areas and features they offer, like resources, termination guides, payroll tax guides, integration for payroll journal entries, different payroll setups, and paid time off. The initial setup was very easy for me and my clients.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

While TriNet offers a wide range of features and resources, some information can be difficult to located for both administrators and employees. At times it requires a significant amount of digging to find answers or complete certain tasks, which often leads me to rely on contacting TriNet support instead of being able to resolve issues independently. I appreciate a more intuitive, self-service experience with easier navigation and better organization of resources. Additionally, the dashboard and reporting functionality can benefit from improvement and modernization. More user-friendly reporting tools, clearer guidance, and enhanced visibility into key information would help organizations and consultants become more self-sufficient and efficient in managing their HR and payroll needs.

I use TriNet because my startup clients can't hire full HR teams, and it helps manage HR and payroll. I appreciate its ease of use, helpful customer service, resources, and payroll features, though finding some resources can be challenging.

TriNet is very easy to navigate because it has clear sections that make it simple to find what I need. It also isn’t slow and runs quickly, so when I’m in a rush I can still get in and out without any hassle. It integrates well across my devices, and I haven’t run into any issues there. The ROI feels well worth it too, since it connects you with a lot of deals and helps you keep track of your insurance. On top of that, it’s easy to get support whenever I have questions or run into any problems on the platform.

Sometimes I get spammed with notifications and it very annoying.

**What do you like best about TriNet?**

What I like most about TriNet is that it brings essential HR functions—such as payroll, benefits administration, and compliance support—into a single platform. Having these services consolidated makes it much easier to manage day-to-day HR tasks, and it also provides access to benefits that might otherwise be difficult for a small or mid-sized organization to offer on its own.

**What do you dislike about TriNet?**

While TriNet provides comprehensive HR services, the overall platform experience can be frustrating. I’ve encountered frequent technical glitches, and in some cases reports have been deleted or gone missing, which creates extra work and raises concerns about reliability and data integrity. As a result, routine HR tasks take longer than they should and can undermine trust in the system. Strengthening platform stability and ensuring consistent report retention would go a long way toward improving the user experience.

**What problems is TriNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We hope TriNet improves its multi-factor authentication process. Right now, even when I’m actively working in the platform, the system frequently times out and forces me to log in again, which interrupts my workflow and reduces efficiency. Allowing more flexible session settings, or making authentication less intrusive during active use, would significantly improve the overall user experience.
