The profiles of mentors are not only focused on their role. The can add other additional skills that they are able to mentor (for instance, I am a UX professional but I also have the knowledge and previous experience on developing communication skills) **What do you dislike about Together Mentorship?** The booking of the meeting is a bit tricky expecially when it is about booking with people in different time zones. People requesting to be matched should be notified about the different time zone before sendind the request. Another minor thing is that the platform does not perfectly connect with our calendars so sometimes we book meetings in busy slots. **What problems is Together Mentorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** More than a problem, it is addressing an opportunity. Whilst we have great onboarding (the best I have ever undertaken) as there is so much information so quickly it is extremely helpful to have a structured program to spend time with someone who has been putting into practice what I have been learning and "translating" it into real-world value. The product provides lots of mentoring options and ways to connect people with one another. I really like the ability to support peer mentoring and an evergreen program and their support team has been quick to answer any questions. I appreciated the flexibility to be able to customize parts of the platform like emails, program details, etc. and the available resources for mentors and mentees were also helpful. **What do you dislike about Together Mentorship?** Like most tools, it can be challenging to always see what the end user experience is like. There are places within the admin where you can "view as a user" but unless you register you may not be aware of all the stuff happening behind the scenes. I'd love to see a more robust API and webhooks that we could tie into to connect systems such as our community platforms with Together. **What problems is Together Mentorship solving and how is that benefiting you?** Together is allowing our community members to connect with one another and get more value from our overall community. For administrators, the platform handles all the busy work and frees up time to focus on driving adoption, measuring impact and handling blockers. My favourite feature is the ability to determine pairing readiness based on registration data which takes away the anxiety of whether or not a launch will be successful, and the ability to monitor the health of your program based on user activity which helps direct your attention to specific interventions. The platform is super easy to set up and offers many customizations (communications, pairing algorithm, etc.). Their excellent support team (shoutout to Joey Cheung!) is always available to help strategize and assist with any bespoke needs your organization may have. For employees, the tool offers a seamless experience from the moment they register all the way to their last session. It helps focus their mentorship efforts in one place, reinforces goal-setting practices and offers useful guidance at each step through push communications (like session agendas). **What do you dislike about Together Mentorship?** The only challenge I’ve had in the past was the absence of a Slack integration, but that is now being rolled out!
