I'm learning about myself as much as I'm learning about my mentee. I realized how similar our pathways are; I'm simply a few decades ahead and can provide feedback on what I would do differently, or what I would recommend doing. I can provide the feedback and guidance that I wish I would have had available at that time in my life. The reminders are perfect, and the agenda helps to focus what the upcoming call "can" be about. It's easy to use and provides all the guidance that you need. I was nervous to being the program with how overwhelming it can be, but this program breaks it down into smaller segments that allow us to both customize and to give direction. I love that new hires are being connected with an experienced individual in an organization to ensure their onboarding experience is smooth. To be able to connect with other professionals across several sectors within the organization has been a fantastic opportunity! We set session times that work best for each of us and are able to utilize applications we already use every day such as Teams and Outlook. Registration and continuation of program was extremely easy to set up and the layout is clean and user friendly. I get reminders before every session and am encouraged to leave feedback afterwards. I also really like the fact that we are sent videos and pointers to get the most out of each meet up and I login often to visit these videos. I am a career coach and I use this tool to document my sessions with coachees. Coachees are the one scheduling the meeting based on my availability and it seems to work great. I love the proposed agenda for each meeting and the ability to leave notes.

There are great tools and templates with pre-canned questions that the mentee and mentor can consider/build on/use as a starting point in their discussions and to make progress on the goals that the mentee has put on paper. I don't see any downsides - I have only used one other mentorship platform so compared to that, this is better (richer), intuitive, and more fun to use! I use the platform a few times a month to propose questions/ideas to my mentee. I didn't have to reach out to customer support for any help so it is truly easy to implement/use. The idea of a company allowing access to all sorts of people to mind map with someone who is already in that position is great. I like the suggestions that come up to help conversation. I enjoy learning more about my mentor. The Together Mentorship program is user friendly and made it easy to be connected with someone I work well with. While I don't use the portal very much outside of initial set up, I noticed there are a variety of resources and tips to make meets more successful and connections more meaningful.
