It is combination of centos and ubuntu. Most packages are updated in the repository which is supported by Amazon linux 2. No need to outside to get any package. Resilience of this is best part. **What do you dislike about Amazon Linux 2?** When we mount swap partition in Amazon linux 2 using its mount point path, then sometimes it creates issue as os did not get boot so later on it was identified that, in Amazon linux 2 any mount point should be mounted based on UUID not with respect to actual path. No where this information was mentioned so it was big hurdle before it was get troubleshooted. **What problems is Amazon Linux 2 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Package finding inside repository was best part of this os.
