**What do you like best about Tipalti?**

What I like best about Tipalti is the level of automation it has brought to our AP process. We moved from manual payments to fully auto-synced payments, which has significantly improved efficiency and reduced manual effort. Vendor master data is also much more accurate now that suppliers can self-onboard and maintain their own information. As a result, duplicate payments have dropped to almost zero, giving us much greater confidence in our payment process.

**What do you dislike about Tipalti?**

One area that could be improved is the synchronization between the ERP and Tipalti. Payments made outside of Tipalti don't sync back from our ERP, which causes the aging report in Tipalti to differ from our actual AP aging. To keep both systems aligned, we have to manually apply those payments, which is time-consuming.

I also still encounter sync errors that require manual intervention, and I would love to see more flexibility in approval workflows, such as the ability to configure approvers at the vendor level. That would make it much easier to support different business scenarios without creating complex workarounds.

**What problems is Tipalti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tipalti has solved many of the manual challenges we used to face in AP by automating invoice processing, approvals, payments, and vendor onboarding. This has improved efficiency, reduced errors, and given us much better visibility into our AP operations.

More recently, I've been using some of the AI capabilities, such as AI-generated reports and daily summaries of overdue or pending approval invoices. These have been very helpful in helping me prioritize work and proactively follow up with approvers. I'm excited to see how Tipalti continues to expand its AI capabilities, as I believe they have the potential to make AP even more efficient and data-driven.

**What do you like best about Tipalti?**

The AP Workflow is great. It covers everything from collecting invoices via email, to submitting an invoice and adjusting approvers, and finally providing remittance to the payee. The flow is very straightforward and easy to follow, even for non-finance users.

**What do you dislike about Tipalti?**

It would be very helpful to have a clearer, more detailed view of payments and each stage in the payment process. Right now, the estimated funds delivery date is only available for newly submitted payments; it should be accessible at any time so I can check it whenever I need to.

Also, the AI reporting needs improvement. It handles scheduled reports well, but it claims it can work with pre-existing reports and it doesn’t. I’m trying to get a standard bill details report, but instead it creates its own variation.

**What problems is Tipalti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The self-serve portal lets payees update their information, submit invoices, and track payments without needing my help. It really is self-serve—sometimes I even forget about vendors until their invoices come through.

**What do you like best about Tipalti?**

One of the things I like most about Tipalti is how it gives us greater control over the transactions processed through Accounts Payable. We can access detailed information for each document, including its full history and traceability, which helps us maintain data accuracy and integrity. This level of visibility is extremely helpful, especially when facing more rigorous audit processes.

**What do you dislike about Tipalti?**

One disadvantage is that I believe Tipalti could benefit from implementing additional modules focused on better inventory management and control. This could help improve the overall process by creating a more efficient flow between invoices and purchase orders.

**What problems is Tipalti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that Tipalti solved was the approval control process. Previously, we managed approvals manually, mainly through email communications, which made tracking and follow-up more difficult. Now, everything is managed through a more structured and automated workflow, providing better control, visibility, and efficiency throughout the approval process.

**What do you like best about Tipalti?**

What we appreciate most about Tipalti is how much it simplifies our payment processes. Raise handles a significant volume of payments, and Tipalti makes that volume manageable by centralizing everything in one place. Features like the payment ID and reference code have been useful in tracking payments for audit purposes. Being able to bulk upload payments via CSV and sync directly with Salesforce saves us substantial time and manual effort. It has also been valuable to drill into specific rejection reasons and troubleshoot payment issues quickly. Another standout is customer support. The Tipalti team is responsive, collaborative, and consistent with follow-up.

**What do you dislike about Tipalti?**

While Tipalti has been a strong tool overall, there are areas where the experience could be more streamlined. We have experienced challenges with batch IDs during bulk uploads, and we would value greater visibility into payment rejection statuses directly. Our international payees have also faced challenges with the mobile experience due to the iframe configuration we use with Tipalti. That said, the Tipalti product team has been responsive and collaborative in helping us work through these issues. Finally, we would value greater urgency and clearer expectation-setting when issues are critical. The recent inability to sync batch IDs is a good example — while the issue was resolved before our large payment batches, we would benefit from a more defined escalation path and more frequent check-in points so we can plan with confidence.

**What problems is Tipalti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tipalti helps us manage complex, large-scale payment operations by centralizing workflows and reducing manual processes. It allows us to track payments, address rejections, and maintain compliance with confidence. Capabilities like bulk uploads and Salesforce integration save time and strengthen our auditing workflow. With Tipalti’s tools and support, our team can spend less time troubleshooting payments and more time meeting stakeholder needs, helping Raise operate more efficiently.

**What do you like best about Tipalti?**

What I like most about Tipalti is how much it has simplified and organized our processes. The vendor portal is a huge help – vendors can manage their own banking details and submit tax forms, reducing our team's administrative burden and the errors caused by manual updates. The ability to implement controls like TIN verification and approval workflows has also made our processes much tighter and more secure. Features like email approvals for bills are super convenient and save a lot of time. Being able to handle multiple entities and manage AP across them in a single system has been another big positive for us.

Tipalti has also enabled us to process invoices faster and keep payments on time, which keeps our vendors happy. Having everything integrated seamlessly with NetSuite made the transition easier, and it’s been great to have both AP automation and mass payout capabilities in one solution. It’s not perfect – there are some limitations with reporting – but overall, it’s been a huge improvement for our workflows.

**What do you dislike about Tipalti?**

One area where Tipalti could continue to improve is in reporting and visibility into invoice activity, as well as team-level tracking. We’ve also found that some tax form updates require additional support. While these haven’t been major blockers, enhanced self-service capabilities would make the experience even smoother.

**What problems is Tipalti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tipalti helps us manage vendor payments, invoice processing, and compliance across multiple entities, reducing manual work and errors. The vendor portal and automated TIN verification ensure security and accuracy, while faster invoice processing keeps our payments on time. It’s also helped streamline approvals and integrate smoothly with NetSuite. Overall, Tipalti has made our AP processes more efficient and reliable, freeing up time for our team to focus on other priorities

**What do you like best about Tipalti?**

The biggest upside Tipalti has offered is its standard OCR service. Having bills automatically read and coded has allowed our AP team to maintain our current headcount while more than doubling the number of bills processed. Beyond that, Tipalti Card and Tipalti Expenses have also been very helpful in automating some of our previously manual workflows.

**What do you dislike about Tipalti?**

We ultimately chose Tipalti because it lets us make prepayments to certain vendors, which essentially creates a “wallet” of funds that can be applied against specific purchase orders. This is very helpful, but Tipalti also effectively “locks” the purchase order coming from our ERP (NetSuite). Once a prepayment is made on a PO, the Tipalti system only allows those funds to be applied to bills tied to that same PO. If the PO changes, some manual accounting is required to correct things on the Tipalti side—for example, moving any unused prepayment funds to the right place.

**What problems is Tipalti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Two main problems were solved for us. First was headcount: Tipalti has allowed us to greatly increase our bill volume without increasing headcount. Second, it has helped strengthen our control environment by making it much easier to capture bill approvals and payment approvers.

**What do you like best about Tipalti?**

What I like most about Tipalti is how seamlessly it integrates with NetSuite and simplifies our invoice processing workflows. Having invoices automatically pulled in as PDFs and extracting invoice details during upload has significantly reduced manual entry and improved efficiency for our finance team.

The approval workflows are also straightonward to manage, and features like reassigning approvers when someone is out of office make day-to-day operations much smoother. Small workflow improvements like that have made a noticeable impact for our team.

Customer support has also been consistently responsive and helpful, whether troubleshooting sync issues or helping resolve failed invoice scenarios. We’ve especially appreciated the ability for approvers to review and approve invoices directly from email, which helps keep approvals moving quickly without requiring additional logins.

Overall, Tipalti has improved visibility into invoice processing and approvals while helping us manage high invoice volumes more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Tipalti?**

One area that could be improved is filtering and coding flexibility across departments within subsidiaries. With a large number of department and entity combinations, having more granular filtering controls would help simplify workflows and reduce the risk of coding errors.

The pending review section could also be more customizable. While the available filters are useful, being able to save preferred views or frequently used filter settings would make navigating large invoice volumes more efficient for our team.

The inability to see a full audit trail on the bill submission side has caused some training challenges as we cannot pinpoint the coder in real time. However, Tipalti team has created a custom report to assist with this system restriction.

That said, these are mostly workflow optimization opportunities, and the platform overall has been very effective for managing our AP processes.

**What problems is Tipalti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tipalti is helping us streamline invoice processing, approval routing, and AP workflow management across a high volume of invoices.

The direct NetSuite integration and automated invoice data extraction have reduced manual entry, minimized errors, and improved visibility into approvals and coding workflows. This has helped our finance team process invoices more efficiently while maintaining better control and oversight across the approval process.

Overall, the platform has saved time, improved operational consistency, and allowed our team to focus more on higher-value financial tasks instead of manual administrative work.

**What do you like best about Tipalti?**

What I like best about Tipalti is how it centralizes the entire royalty payment process in one platform. From artist onboarding and multi-currency payments to batch processing and reporting, it automates time-consuming tasks, improves accuracy, and gives us clear visibility into every stage of the payment workflow.

**What do you dislike about Tipalti?**

One area for improvement would be the ability to make controlled edits to a payment batch after it has been uploaded. In royalty processing, occasional last-minute changes are unavoidable, so having an edit option before final submission would make the workflow even more efficient. Other than that, the platform has met our needs very well.

**What problems is Tipalti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tipalti solves the challenges of managing high-volume royalty payments by automating artist onboarding, global payments, and payment tracking in one platform. This has reduced manual effort, improved payment accuracy, and given us better visibility across our monthly and quarterly payout cycles, allowing us to work more efficiently and focus on higher-value finance activities.

**What do you like best about Tipalti?**

We use Tipalti from the procurement step all the way through payment. It’s easy to navigate between features, and the AI does a great job coding our invoices with very few revisions. Vendor onboarding is quick and straightforward, often taking only about five minutes while still capturing all the information we need for required reporting.

We were also able to build a custom form for our purchase requests that covers all aspects of our process and has reduced the back-and-forth with internal users. Compared with our old system, Tipalti has also helped us better trace cost and quantity variances once invoices are billed.

My favorite feature in Tipalti has been payments. Previously, we were printing approximately 30 checks a week, and it took hours to complete. Now we can process payments within five minutes, and about 90% of our vendors are paid via ACH.

**What do you dislike about Tipalti?**

I would like to see improvements in a few areas with Tipalti. Currently, we are not able to directly open a Purchase Order that is connected to a bill from within the bill screen. We have to open a separate window and navigate to the purchase order window. Also, the purchase request users have very limited options to navigate the requests they have submitted which causes frustration and hinders cooperation from internal users.

Also, I would like to see more capabilities with the corporate card integration. Currently, only one person is able to submit receipts. It would be helpful for our group if multiple people could submit. Also, the approval flow doesn't work as it should which adds more time to processing card transactions.

Lastly, users will lose access to the system due to technical difficulties more often than I would like to see.

**What problems is Tipalti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tipalti has helped make our process more efficient from the procurement phase through to payment. Our processing time has been reduced by 5–10 hours each week. The purchase request step has improved compared with our old process because it requires users to provide more information upfront, which has reduced the amount of follow-up and back-and-forth later. Paying vendors has also become significantly easier, more reliable, and smoother overall.

**What do you like best about Tipalti?**

I like having the option to classify expenses, use credit cards, share employee expenses, and run a procurement process all in one place, with reports that can be ready in minutes.

**What do you dislike about Tipalti?**

I think the Settings area isn’t very user-friendly. Also, the Reports area isn’t easy to understand, and I don’t always know what to choose.

**What problems is Tipalti solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have three entities at our company, each with different GL codes, and this makes it much easier to plan and organize our expenses in advance. I also like that employees can request reimbursement themselves, and the manager only needs to review and approve, which makes the whole process very smooth.
