It's neat, simple, and, as it's name designates, tidy... and all at an amazing cost. The team is continuously developing new features and customer support is very responsive. Its really nice design and simplicity make this the most headache-free and useful application in my work day, hands down. Everyone I recommend it to loves it, too! **What do you dislike about TidyCal?** I’m running into a few limitations: I can’t set global limits across booking types, and I can’t create a single booking type with variable session lengths (for example, letting someone book anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours instead of a fixed duration). Also, when booking from the admin side, there isn’t an admin override for availability or other booking limits. **What problems is TidyCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** It provides basic scheduling software for small businesses that can’t afford high administrative costs. ### 2. The ability to customize start and end times for meetings, as well as manage the gaps between them, is a remarkable feature that I value greatly, as it allows me to prevent back-to-back bookings, ensuring I have necessary breaks that help maintain my productivity. The cost aspect is a major highlight for me as well—I used to pay about $14 per month for a different service, but TidyCal offers incredible affordability with a one-time payment for a lifetime subscription around $40 to $50. This financial advantage makes it an outstanding value proposition without compromising on features. The autonomy the platform provides in scheduling, where it operates effectively on autopilot, makes it reliable, and the rules-setting ability for booking gaps ensures I don't end up overwhelmed with continuous meetings. But, sometimes the customers say they can't access the site or can't book any meetings. I assume all software has temporary glitches like this, so I don't hold anything against TidyCal; which is why I highly recommend this software especially for individuals who don't need lots of fancier features like round-robin or access to multiple calendars. **What problems is TidyCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use TidyCal to save time by reducing back-and-forth emails about availability, allowing customers to book meetings based on my schedule. It ensures meeting gaps, preventing consecutive bookings and integrates with Google Calendar, all at a reasonable lifetime cost. ### 3. No subscription! And that I can add multiple calendars for my booking calendar to check availability against. **What do you dislike about TidyCal?** It's a pretty simple platform, not a whole lot of customisation options. **What problems is TidyCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** TidyCal gave me a cost-effective way to manage bookings with clients across timezones. ### 6. I just need to put the slot and particular day and the tidycal does the all. So no call without tidycal. **What do you dislike about TidyCal?** The only this where tidycal needs to work is auto fixing of the slots. In calendly you just need to put the slot and rest calendly will do but not in tidycal. In tidycal you have to manually set aside 1 hour / 45 minutes slot. If you give single slot of 4-8 PM for example - tidycal will keep on showing different slots of 15 minutes each if your call is 15 minutes call. **What problems is TidyCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use tidycal for all my bookings. All my sessions with mentees / prospects go with tidcal booking followed by zoom call. ### 7. It does all the basic things, plus a little extra that would be needed to with a calendaring tool. I appreciate the simplicity of sharing a link, embedding information on a website or in and email, and the ability to create meeting pools. It was very simple to set up and use. **What do you dislike about TidyCal?** The one big downside for me was the limitation of calendar to refer to for bookings. I use 20 different calendars for different aspects of my life within my Google Calendar interface. TidyCal will only check a maximum of 10. **What problems is TidyCal solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the problem of finding an affordable product to schedule meetings. I don't need all the bells and whistles of Calendly or Acuity. ### 8.
