The company is also customer focused which is a nice change from the other IT software vendors I have worked with in the past. **What do you dislike about Tidal Automation?** Honestly, there isn't much I don't like. The product is reliable and works as I would expect. I do think the API could be better documented and easier to use but I think they are working on improving that experience. **What problems is Tidal Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tidal Automation allows us to run millions of jobs a month with a very limited staff. Before Tidal, we used CRON (default UNIX scheduler); it was minimal and required many additional Unix jobs to manipulate the schedule. STA group is heading towards right direction. more cloud feature will be introduced in coming months. Started with 5.x version and now working on 6.3.3 version. The ease with which you can develop and schedule jobs is likeable. Variety of calendars that you can customize is what I like as well. The different types of adaptors available is really helpful to schedule jobs in various applications. STA group is really working great on improving this tool more and more. Waiting to use the 6.5 version where we can get rid of the Client Manager Database and instead use in memory cache. **What do you dislike about Tidal Automation?** The speed of the GUI needs to be improved.
