"For lovers of simple notebooks"

What do you like best about TickTick?

The tool is very easy to use. I can make a note in this notebook very easily and quickly. And also divide notes into folders. Therefore, I can use folders that relate to my work and personal life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TickTick?

The tool have some restrictions on free version.

Support is sometimes unresponsive. But it's not a problem for me. Overall, the tool fully meets my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TickTick solving and how is that benefiting you?

TickTick helps me organize my work day and schedule. With it, it is much easier for me to perform the assigned tasks, and very quickly, without spending time on understanding the interface of the tool.

A new day - a new note. If necessary, I make notes in advance and set dates when I need to complete the task. In this way, I already have a schedule for a week ahead) And what is very important - I can see all the notes at once, instead just of trying to find them everywhere. What problems is TickTick solving and how is that benefiting you?

I wanted a better way to manage my personal tasks for work and home. Other task managers were either too simple or too complex. TickTick is a great balance of being simple to use, which reduced friction to using the app habitually, whilst also having more powerful features that you can use if you need to. "My review on TickTick"

What do you like best about TickTick?

Here's what I liked about TickTick:

1. NLP: The first thing you will notice about TickTick's NLP is excellent. It can recognize complex commands, like for recurring tasks. It's not perfect, though, and if you're looking for only NLP, there are better options in the market, but it's a good option.

2. Pricing: I have been their premium customer; they are among the few companies offering purchase power parity pricing. The pricing in India is cheaper than their global pricing, which is good. Plus, they offer student discounts as well.

3. Stability: The app is available on any platform you can think of, plus all the apps are rock solid and stable. During my testing, I wasn't able to find any bug whatsoever.

4. Generous free plan: Although not enough to last a lifetime, the free tier is generous enough to test all features before purchasing.

5. Feature rich: The apps are filled with features, like Pomodoro, Calendar, a full-fledged note-taking app, adding tasks via email, and much more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TickTick?

Here's what I don't like about TickTick:

1. Interface: The interface is very dated. The themes, except the default black-and-white theme, don't help and feel childish. The white theme is too bright, and there's an AMOLED theme on mobile devices, which isn't great either.

2. Unnecessary features: At least these features are turned off by default. You don't need an Eisenhower Matrix, a mini calendar, etc. Having so many options confuses the user.

3. Iffy Search: The search sometimes misses out on some crucial parts, like notes inside the tasks or subtasks. This makes me question a bit about the reliability of the app, given some tasks might seem to be lost, which they do exist inside TickTick.

4. Support: I remember asking a simple question about TickTick, and never got any reply. Back then, I was a premium user. However, you might not need to contact the support for anything crucial. I will reiterate that the app is indeed bug-free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'd use it more if there was a way to not only have the tasks show up on my Google calendar, but if I could actually change something in a given task (edit, complete, delete) within my calendar and it updates it on the TickTick side as well. What problems is TickTick solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's particularly useful when I have a very long list of to-dos, and for cataloguing thoughts, tasks, ideas that I don't want to forget. So I use it somewhat as a place to store notes as well. It doesn't have many integrations. I usually use tools like Pabbly connect and IFTTT to connect my different apps. Right now, Ticktick has limited connections, but I think they will improve in the future Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
