The TicketSpice support team is, in a word, excellent. As first-time users, we had a number of questions, and every single member of the support team - including Trey, Julia, Susie, Tanner, Phillip and Phina - not only answered all of our questions but responded quickly, thoroughly with patience and good vibes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like their chat feature, where I can easily get help in less than thirty minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

TicketSpice provides a wonderful, easy-to-use ticketing software that's built for small businesses, large businesses, and anyone in-between. Their support has been there for any question we have, and have always been friendly and helpful.

The page designer is amazing, intuitive, and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

There's a lot we don't like. There's a lot we like. A few things we think need to change are below:

- Easier to manage pages

- Drafts of pre-published pages

- Box office on iPhone / iPod instead of just iPad

- Actions / Conditional Logic loves to reset itself, causing mayhem in our ticketing pages

- Better embeeded options Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering TicketSpice:

Compare pricing, features, etc. TicketSpice isn't for everyone, yet is still an amazing, competitive software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're a small event organization, that typically puts on one event a year. TicketSpice really helps us in this by providing a competitive platform for one-off events, or for people who only run one event per year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Unterberger of TicketSpice

Hey Nathan!

Thank you so much for providing all of this great feedback! We’re happy to hear that TicketSpice has been working well for you, and we’re grateful that you’ve taken the time to share some thoughts on areas for improvement. We make sure to share all constructive feedback like this with our team in order to continue improving our product, and we will definitely be sharing yours too.

I did however want to quickly address the bugs you were experiencing with the actions / conditional logic, as it’s possible that those bugs have already been resolved. Actions normally don’t reset themselves, so I’m happy to connect you with one of our specialists to inspect your page and see if the bug has been addressed and fixed. It shouldn’t happen moving forward.

If you’d like to have a more extensive chat with one of our Customer Solutions team members on this, or any other issues you may be running into, feel free to use the following link to schedule a quick call with them: https://calendly.com/ticketspice/solutions?month=2022-05

For greater clarity and understanding, please also see some additional comments / questions to your feedback from our support team below :)

Page Management: We have folders to sort pages, and filters to search, but we’d love your specific feedback on how we could make your pages easier to manage?

Drafts: We technically do have drafts of pre-published pages. You an always click 'Preview' as you build and update the page along the way, even after it's published. Is that what you’re referring to, or is it something else like past versions of drafts (like other website builders?

Box Office:

We currently don’t have plans to move to iphones/ipod at the moment.

Embed Options:

For websites - we can always give you suggested iframe codes, and have a plug in for WordPress. Is there a specific option you’re looking for?

I really hope this all helps you and any other potential customers in the future!

I’ve attached a link to this comment to schedule more time with our Customer Solutions Specialists for anyone who needs additional assistance.

Sincerely,

Eric

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

They seem quite eager to be helpful and informative. They had a presentation at the venue to bring us up to speed on how the process works, which was helpful to let us know and inform our Patrons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

I can't get the normal discounts I've been giving to the community these last 35 years. Our non-profit mandate (and tradition to the community) has us give half-price tickets to boy scouts, girls scouts, church youth groups and retirement homes. We've also given gree tickets to the American Veterans Association for the last ten years. Not sure how we'll do that this season. Also, for our recital, we have two presentations. Due to this, we need to have two separate links; one for each presentation. It's a bit confusing and would be easier if the public only had one link and could make purchases for either (or both) presentations on one page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering TicketSpice:

As soon as we do one production I'll have an idea for a recommendation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

I don't know yet, as no problems have come up or been solved. We do have all parents of participants enroll for required volunteer duty, and this has taken some of those duties away, giving our Patrons fewer volunteering options. Since we usually processed ticket sales in-house, we could get any new purchaser information to mail them information about future productions. We no longer have this information capacity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Unterberger of TicketSpice

Hey Richard!

Thank you so much for providing all of this great feedback! We’re so happy that we were able to communicate to you how excited we are to help you!

As for some of the features that you wish we could do better on, we actually can help support some of this for you.

We would love to be able to help walk you through and build some discounts and coupons for you to provide to your patrons as well as free tickets to give to your local veteran community! Our team would also love to show you how to use our coupon code tools and our actions feature to be able to provide the appropriate tickets and ticket prices to you and your attendees.

As for having to build two pages, one for each day, currently, you are correct in that our Reserved Seating product doesn’t offer a multi-day use at this time. But with that said, I would be happy to submit this feedback to our product team and see if this is something we could implement in the future. This is a great idea and we really appreciate your feedback!

If you would like, I would love to connect you with one of our onboarding team members or one of our account managers to help get your page built and functioning exactly the way you would like it with your special pricing and free tickets :)

Feel free to comment back here if you're up for that, and I'll help get the ball rolling there!

Sincerely,

Eric

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

We offer several events throughout the year and being able to quickly set up a site to manage the sale of tickets has been a timesaver. The timed ticketing has been extremely beneficial in managing our guest and parking capacity for both small U Pick events to our 2 large multi-week events. The customer support has been excellent. David is there to help us with solutions and my favorite -- "How To Videos" which are great for referencing at a later date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

I find some of the reports not very user-friendly. I have to do a lot of manipulation on one of my key reports before I can share it with others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

Timed ticketing enables us to manage the number of guests attending our events at any one time which provides a better experience for our guests and helps us efficiently manage our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

Here's what I love about TicketSpice:

-Affordable, fees are reasonable, best I found

-Platform is highly customizable to create the ticketing experience best suited to your event--I mean it's crazy all you can do that helps you and your guests have a smooth experience.

-The customer service is WOW. The chatbox actually is functional and takes you to a person who will step by step help you figure out what you want to do. Even send you customizable video tutorials. It doesn't send you to a "knowledgebase", although they do have one. SomeONE will help you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

The only thing I will say is that there is no way to opt out of the automatic log out of the site after a short period of time. This is security protection they build in to protect your bank info -- I totally get it -- but it would be nice to have an option where I can reset the auto log out after inactivity while realizing I'm reducing my own security. Since I work from home on my home computer it's just not an enhancement I need that I would reset if I could, but again, I appreciate the protection baked in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

Provides an intuitive ticketing platform, that is so customizable that it's like I've hired my own developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

Ticket spice made it so easy for us to scan registrants. In the past, our lines took a half hour to get through, but with TicketSpice the line never stopped moving! TicketSpice made our local event feel like a professionally curated experience. We can't wait to use them again! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

This may be a feature we didn't look into but it would be really helpful to have the ability to sell paper tickets that are "pre-registered" to business to sell to registrants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering TicketSpice:

If there is something you want TicketSpice to do, reach out to the support team and ask! They were very helpful in getting my page the way I wanted it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our lines moved so much faster and we didn't have the hassle of filing through excel sheets to cross off registrants. Our attendees were thrilled! We also don't have to track cash for tickets sold physically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TicketSpice?

I like that the online dashboard is easy to review and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TicketSpice?

The ticket levels on the backside are sometimes confusing when we have multiple ticket levels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TicketSpice solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helping eliminate the lines at the ticket booth. Online ticket sales/pre-sales are a big game changer for us when reducing the lines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
