"Efficient Security with Easy Management"
4/5
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

I like the single pane of glass management that ThreatDown offers. I definitely value the MDR features where it automatically detects and remediates threats for us. The initial setup was super simple with easy deployment to all machines on-site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

I think the clean up of old devices could be easier - they tend to get lost or forgotten about in the console, eating up licenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Great Price, and Keeps Me Healthy"
5/5
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

Easy to use, a good price, and so far I’ve stayed clean and healthy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

There is no email protection for POP3/IMAP, so customers need to buy an additional solution. Most of our customers don’t use Microsoft or Google Workspace. Some of Threatdown’s competitors also offer this type of protection, which makes the gap more noticeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Grace B of ThreatDown

Has not changed, still just works and dose what it is designed to do without much interaction! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

They are really on top of the different threats that are going around and keep the software database updated to allow those footprints to be found on your endpoints with a scan! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great endpoint product for catching everything (maybe too much)"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

The interface is very user friendly and easy to use and configure. It's a good product to be able to scan something off line, which is important to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

We would ask they continue to research or integrate with a product that would help determine normal files/behavior to help eliminate so many false positives. Crowdstrike seems to have that figured out which is why we run it on our servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Angela Kelleher of ThreatDown

Good day,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on ThreatDown! We're thrilled to hear that you find our product effective and user-friendly. We understand your concern about false positives and the impact it can have in a server environment. Our team is continuously working to improve our detection algorithms to reduce false positives.

We appreciate your support in using ThreatDown to enhance threat detection and meet your insurance company requirements. If you encounter any further issues or have suggestions for improvement, please feel free to reach out to us. We're here to assist you every step of the way.

Many thanks,

I really like the ease of use and management that ThreatDown offers. The managed detection and response team is great, and I appreciate the ability to track it in the web portal because it makes it easy to have a single point of reference for control. ThreatDown acts as a security team for us, helping reduce the need for a large internal security employment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive EDR Solution with Strong Features, but Dashboard Needs More Flexibility"
3/5
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

ThreatDown EDR provides robust capabilities such as device control, software inventory management, sandbox analysis, and granular policy fine-tuning. The recent feature enhancements are particularly valuable, allowing for better visibility and control across endpoints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

The dashboard could benefit from greater customization and contextualization. More actionable metrics would be helpful; for example, consolidated views that correlate vulnerabilities, endpoint coverage, threat categories, and CVSS scores. This would provide a clearer picture of overall risk posture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Peace of Mind is Priceless"
5/5
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

Set it and forget it! Once I deploy the software, I trust the ThreatDown team to keep us safe. I know that the MDR team will handle everything top to bottom and that we are protected. I have loved this product since it was a free little secret few of us knew about! I was really happy to be able to bring it to my team and be able to manage it centrally. VERY happy - and really excited about the email protection recently added. Deployment is also a breeze! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

My only complaint is that sometimes the solutions are too techy for the regular end user. I would recommend a little more watered-down tech support for those users who are not as savvy. BUT the support team is ALWAYS SUPER helpful, and they get you there... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Deployment & Strong Automated Security, but Limited Threat Hunting and Customization"
3.5/5
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

Quick and easy to deploy, thanks to a lightweight agent and a cloud-managed console that provides centralized control. It’s a good value for smaller teams or MSPs that need strong security without having to rely on a large specialist staff. The automated threat response and proactive blocking are especially helpful for reducing dwell time and limiting operational impact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

It doesn’t offer threat hunting or forensic investigation features that are as deep as those found in some enterprise-oriented competitors. The integration system and advanced customization options can also feel more limited than what larger vendors provide. Feedback mentions occasional issues with updates or with support responsiveness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Grace B of ThreatDown

Hi!

"ThreatDown by MalwareBytes"
5/5
What do you like best about ThreatDown?

I really like the straightforward navigation and features. The value is incredible with the Threatdown Elite bundle and includes:

Incident response

Next-gen AV

Device Control

Application Block

Vulnerability Assessment

Browser Phishing Protection

Ransomware Rollback

Endpoint Detection & Response

Patch Management

Firewall Management

Managed Detection & Response (includes Threat Hunting)

I use most of these features, including MDR. TheatDown was very helpful in making sure the policies were set up correctly for the MDR, but I still have the freedom to change the settings.

They also offer 4 bundles, including an Ultimate bundle if you need more features. They do have server licensing as well.

We now have more than 20 servers and 100 Windows endpoints, but it is still easy to navigate. We count on this protection every day. It is easy to install and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatDown?

The very nice dashboard gives scores for each module, but there is no way to hide the modules you don't use. This results in some low scores being presented. Not a big deal, but it bugs me.

Overall, a great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
