## About ThreatDown
AI has changed what businesses need to protect and how fast they need to respond. Ungoverned AI tools leak data through identities and API keys nobody's watching, while AI-driven attacks compress exploit windows from months to hours and generate the alert volume of dozens of attackers at once — a scale problem no team can staff its way out of. ThreatDown meets AI-scale risk with an AI-native platform built for more than the endpoint — one lightweight agent, one console, no tool sprawl. AI visibility flags every AI tool in use and blocks sensitive data before it reaches the model. ThreatDown ITDR monitors every identity, human and non-human, to catch compromise before attackers act. And Endpoint and email security stop attacks where they start - on the device and in the inbox. On top, ThreatDown MDR pairs AI-powered triage, with elite analysts who respond 24/7, detecting threats in a median of 5 minutes and containing them in 19. It's enterprise-grade protection at AI speed, without the headcount or complexity.

## ThreatDown Reviews
 ### 1. Great Product! Great Price!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Threatdown reporting is very thorough! The dashboard provides an "at-a-glance" view of your network. The administrator also has the ability to drill down to see malicious activity on each protected device.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The auto restart feature is not the most reliable.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Threatdown assists us in tracking potentially compromised resources.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Good day!
We're thrilled to hear that you find ThreatDown reporting thorough and the dashboard useful for monitoring your network. We appreciate your feedback on the auto restart feature and will work to improve its reliability.
Best regards.

 ### 2. Malwarebytes covers our company wonderfully.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary P. | Senior Desktop Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2021

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The support team started us off on the right track by getting us up and running in no time. Any questions I had before and after setup were answered quickly and thoroughly. The interface is easy to understand and simultaneously very powerful.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I can't think of any downsides. I tried a lot of solutions and malware software, and Malwarebytes exceeded our expectations. We chose Malwarebytes because their solution along with all of our other considersations had the least amount of compromise.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

There is no reason NOT to do the free trial. We tried multiple solutions, but the price, ease-of-use, and the team behind the product really solidified the choice for us.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The number of attacks increases year over year, and people can become complacent. Malwarebytes allows us to track, monitor, and inform our users of the dangers present in their daily work lives.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Gary
Thank you so much for the five star review and shout out to the support you received! We are delighted to be your partner of choice in protecting your users and environment.
Best regards
Angela

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

MalwareBytes is so easy to use! Even the work experience kid knew how to install and scan remotely

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Manually installing is a bit of a pain. But nothing too bad. Nothing to comment on really

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asset tracking and virus alerts. Getting Virus numbers and trends.

 ### 4. Simple and efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Detection power and the concept of layered protection (DNS, VPN, etc.).

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The reports section could be better.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ransomware, calls to malicious IPs. VPM helps in the environment and DNS Filtering greatly assists in providing protection beyond the company's walls.

 ### 5. Easy Deployment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim W. | Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Malwarebytes deployment was easy to do for our team. We don't have a server to push out updates but were able to do it through a cloud interface. The deployment went smoothly and so far, everything is running great.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

So far, we haven't run into anything that has caused a big problem with our system. Malwarebytes software has been running smoothly for us. We have several Mac users and had to play with some settings to get it to work, but that's just because Mac iOS doesn't play well with others.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Malwarebytes is keeping my team safe from virus and malware attacks. That's a huge deal for us because we are the victims of a ransomware attack several years back.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Tim
Thank you very much for the five star rating, you made our day!
We are very glad to hear you have placed your trust in Malwarebytes to protect your business – we’ve got your back!
Best regards,
Angela

 ### 6. Saved from RansomWare!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Been a Malwarebytes Customer since 2008. The product is seamless to install, update and has minimal overhead.
In early 2023 I experienced a ransomware attack on my email addresses which included a Desktop, Notebook, Tablet. These Ransomware people were responsible for at least 5 companies I'm aware of that got CryptoLocked. Although the hack attempts continue to persist, I've not had an issue.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I think the Root Kit Setting should be in the ENABLE Position by Default. Its always easy to disable a feature after completing a setup. It is hard to always rem. to turn that on.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With 250+ Employees that are issued TECH, (notebooks, Ipads, Phones) , its pretty seamless in terms of deployment on new systems going out to techs and employees.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Michael
Thanks so much for your review. Delighted to hear you are having a seamless and positive experience.
Many thanks
Angela

 ### 7. Very nice and smooth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kuldeep S. | IT Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

t operates efficiently in the background without slowing down computers or causing disruptions to everyday tasks.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Some users have expressed that Malwarebytes for Business may not offer as extensive a feature set as other enterprise-level security solutions. While it is strong in malware detection and removal, it may have fewer additional features such as advanced endpoint protection, network monitoring, or email filtering that some businesses may require.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the primary goals of Malwarebytes for Business is to protect endpoints, including desktops, laptops, servers, and mobile devices, from various malware threats. By actively scanning and monitoring endpoints, it prevents malware infections, ensuring the integrity and security of critical business data and applications.

 ### 8. Using tech is more effective than educating users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Malwarebytes is easy to install and configure. It integrates with Windows 10 and runs silently in the background. Infection rate of Malware has dropped dramatically. If I run across a machine that has Malware, installing it cleans it up almost 100% of the time.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Although the issue was patched quickly, it did cause an issue with Office 365. Other than that, I haven't had any issues to speak of.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Malwarebytes for Business is the only software I recommend. I also recommend Malwarebytes Personal for home and to all my friends.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By using tech to fight malware, I don't have to spend as much time educating the users. Even with training there are some that still click any link or open attachments. Malwarebytes keeps the systems safe & secure.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Chris
Thank you so much for the tremendous review, much appreciated! We are delighted to hear you recommend Malwarebytes to your network and personal friends – this is a huge accolade for us.
Thanks again
Angela

 ### 15. Malware bites unless you have Malwarebytes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy N. | Senior Support Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2019

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I never have to worry about infected links. I have been using Malwarebytes since 2007 and NOTHING has ever slipped through. No Trojans, no spyware, no worms, no ransomware - NOTHING.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Can't think of anything I dislike. The software is easy to implement, easy to use, and easy to manage. It is not very resource intensive so I almost forget it is even there.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Don't second guess. Malwarebytes will disappoint.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Malwarebytes sits quietly in the background and does its job. It is non-intrusive and not a resource hog as long as you have modern hardware. I don't have to worry about my end users infecting my network. With the uptick in Ransomware recently I am not as concerned knowing we have Malwarebytes.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Jeremy
Thank you for the awesome five star rating and review, you made our day!
We love your pun “Malware bites unless you have Malwarebytes", we might have to steal that.
Best regards
Angela

 ### 16. Malwarebytes is an amazing product as we have been using it for the past 5 years.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael T. | Network Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Malwarebytes is an amazing product as we have been using it for the past 5 years. It is easy to use, simple to install and has alot of packed features

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The constant updates that sometimes causes our applications to hang when updating. Have had slow performance due to this. In addition, when a installation has gone bad, very difficult to remove (need to use a third party tool to remove it properly).

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Great product when you want to just simply deploy and need a quick central portal to deploy them from. However, just keep in mind the cost for EDR.
Would also consider that

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving alot of ransomware, virus trojans and also identity theft with email. Solved alot of phishing emails as well as websites that have been compromised. Great free product that is included called Malwarebytes Guard.

 ### 17. Best product I have ever used!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacobb S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Super easy to onboard. Lightweight. Amazing staff! Admin friendly. Fully customizable for small businesses. Flexible plans for any business needs. I have used several other products, but none compare to Malwarebytes!

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

There is no downside to using Malwarebytes unless you don't like sleeping well at night knowing that your business is secure 24/7!

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the Healthcare industry, patient information protection and privacy is always job number 1! Malwarebytes is our first line of defense, allowing our team to focus more on other aspects of security, like email phishing and user security awareness.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Jacobb
We’re really happy to see that you like our products!
“Super easy to onboard. Lightweight. Amazing staff! Admin friendly. Fully customizable for small businesses. Flexible plans…” This was all music to our ears!
But the best was “There is no downside to using Malwarebytes unless you don't like sleeping well at night knowing that your business is secure 24/7!” Love this quote!
Best regards,
Angela

 ### 18. Robust, Comprehensive, and Complicated

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathy B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The products seem very robust and comprehensive. I feel like our endpoints are as secure as they can be in this climate of continual threats.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

As a non-IT and non-cyber-security person, I am intimidated by the complexity of the products and even have difficulties figuring out how to send a message.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to demonstrate to our clients that we can protect their information. A comprehensive cyber security program is critical for our business.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Kathy
Thank you so much for your rating, we are delighted to know our solutions are the robust and comprehensive security cover you need!
With regards to the products, feel free to reach out to our support team at any time with questions you may have – we are always happy to help!
Best regards,
Angela

 ### 19. An easy and affordable way to protect my business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The amount of malware that malwarebytes can detect, as well it running daily virus scans without slowing down our computers is amazing. Other alternatives normally slow down our computers whne completeing a virus scan however Malwarebytes doesn't do this.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

It can occasionally be really annoying with popups however it is a small price to pay for this great software

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our entire business is protected and I don't have to worry about virus's affecting my IP or business

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi!
Thank you very much for your great review, we really appreciate it.
Glad to hear you no longer have to worry about your IP or business, that makes us happy.
Many thanks
Angela

 ### 20. Malwarebytes does what it claims

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackson S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The most helpful thing about malwarebytes is that it always does what it claims to actually do. This means, that it can catch viruses, malware, clean the PC, be easy to use, and use little resources on the computer.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The downsides of malwarebytes is always the lack of support from their team. If you have issues with the business product they take a long time to get back to you or send you KB articles instead.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Malwarebytes is solving the age old problem of viruses and malware across some of our devices. It protects us where needed but also can be used ad hoc to remove viruses as needed

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Jackson
Thank you so much for the five star review, we appreciate it!
As regards our support - we’re really doing our best to offer our customers a great experience, so this is valuable feedback. We’ve notified the relevant parties.
Thanks again!
Angela

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Malwarebytes, the expensive version, is fabulous. I had used other antivirus programs but this is the best.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I've never had an issue with Malwarebytes and they give you notice when an update is ready. I've even gone as far as recommended Malwarebytes to other computer users.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

take your time and read doc

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Malwarebyte software is great for detection and preventing bugs from infections of your software.

 ### 22. Malwarebytes Nebula - Highly Recomended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb N. | Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Malwarebytes for Business has great support and an easy to use product.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I haven't found anything I don't particularly like. I make feature recommendations if I notice a functionality I'd like to see.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Malwarebytes quarantines malicious actors and notifies us of suspicious activity.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Caleb
Thank you very much for the five star review, its greatly appreciated!
It’s always a bonus to us when our users make feature recommendations – the voice of our customers continuously guides our Roadmap and future product development, so again, thank you!
Best regards

 ### 23. Great EDR Solution!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raza S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Best overall solution to get your organization cybersecured. We've used it as personal app and now upgraded to business. As always customer support and ease of use makes it best in the market.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I'd say the cost would be the main factor over here, other than that I can't find downsides of using this EDR.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had issue managing EDR solution in one place. Malwarebytes dashboard is easy to use and consolidates everything in one place. We've increased our business performance.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Raza
Thanks for your amazing score, we’re super pleased to know that you are happy with our service, and helping you increase your business performance!
Best regards,
Angela

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

It works, plain and simple. For a security product that is paramount above all else. The fact that it is also easy to use and administer is a bonus.

The process of purchasing and renewing licensing lacks options for sourcing them.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Try it. The demo is very easy to use and setup

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

General protection of network attached devices. It allows us to remain secure without spending significant amounts of time administering the product.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

Easy to use endpoint. Console is user friendly to push scans, view status, and updates. Prevents users from accessing malicious sites.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

We ran into a bit of false positives with blocking domains for endusers, we had to manually adjust on the backend. MBAM cloud console is more user friendly than on-prem.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping prevent endusers from accidently visiting or clicking into malicious sites and links. Alerts real time if scan found anything on machine.

 ### 26. Amazing software

Easy to implement and for end-users to use.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Nothing really. The software is effective.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My clients tend to click without looking. Malwarebytes saves them from going to malicious websites.

 ### 27. Great Service and Peace of mind knowing malwarebytes is protecting my systems.

Best regards,

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

a lot of false positives. Some are not even reported in the console.

Third party patching does not need another separate software. Overall it is becoming better and better.

 ### 29. Malwarebytes for Corporations and Small Business is AWESOME

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shalisha H. | Founder & Senior Repair Technician, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2018

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The FREE version is what both my Corporation and Small Business use daily. The software works so well at both detecting and blocking intrusions onto devices and our network.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

It appears to run up CPU space on the device and causing crashing, lately. We have been uninstalling Malwarebytes after initial use because of this. We are unable to identify why this is occurring.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

The FREE version works very well.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our old security software only worked as a firewall and did not help to identify or remove threats. When we found this software, it was more than helpful and a Godsend to our organization. We needed to use the software because of several phishing emails that went out to over 3000 end-users that caused a threat. Although, we sent out various training materials, videos and tests to end-users to educate on the threats of phishing and other cyber threats, more than 500 end-users clicked on the links in the phishing emails and provided their personal information. We even had VP's email address used in a whaling email scam that caused the company to lose $80,000 from our Accounts Payable department. The email looked authentic and the AP rep sent an $80,000 wire out that we were not able to recover. Malwarebytes helped to scan 5000 devices on our network and identify machines that had malware, spyware and rootkits installed on them.

 ### 31. Strong Anti-malware, Both desktop and mobile versions work as expected

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2022

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

1. Strong depth of scanning - takes some time but scans comprehensively 2. Does not torment mobile or computing resources

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

We still found spybot-search and destroy to be better. Spybot does have a larger scan time but that one scan is a must - weekly, atleast.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

removal of malware, tracking cookies and the like. Often do need to remove cookies for web deployment tests and this helps a lot

 ### 32. The Only Anti-Malware software out there worth having.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric A. | Customer Service / IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I like that i dont have to think about it.
It runs in the background and does not take up a lot of computer resources.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I don't really have too much to say about what i dislike about Malwarebytes.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

If you don't have another anti-malware program do yourself the favor and get this.
Even if you do have an anti-malware solution, look at what it is using for resources on your computer. Malwarebytes is most likely going to use less.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping our small company keep ahead of the malware curve. I have used the Malwarebytes tools a couple of times when people have asked me to help them with their computer running slow. Almost always ends up being some kind of malware. Malwarebytes seems to find all of it.

**Official Response from Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Mobile:**

> We're happy to get the job done for you, Eric!

 ### 33. It's great to know the people making the product.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruce C. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Someone to call if you have questions or need help

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I wish I could install the related product MBAM to renew on a monthly basis so it is evergreen.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It captures some infections that Emsisoft is missing.

 ### 34. Malwarebytes continues to have the edge you need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew F. | Senior Network Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2019

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I do like the effectiveness of threat detection and the ease of deployment and administration. Competitive pricing. The improvement of features on the web portal has continually surprised me. They do a great job of educating end-users on new features, extra protection, and providing a training portal for all of that.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

We had a major incident with a misbehaving update release that affected many around the country, including my last place of employment, so the hope is that QA testing of updates would be improved. Thankfully the issue was identified mitigated quickly, and Malwarebytes had a fix out the same (or next) day. No doubt this was something that wouldn't fall through the cracks again any time soon!

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

If you aren't sure about other AV vendors, give this one a shot. You may be pleased.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We replaced ESET Antivirus as it was missing several key management capabilities, update management, and lack of detection performance was causing reinfections of our network. Other infections were not detected until another antivirus scan was manually run and still not completed. I had used the software in the past and recommended at my new place of employment to finally stomp out pesky malware, which was prevalent on over 100 devices and servers, and finally, things are going smoothly. This investment is well worth it!

 ### 35. A great solution for cloud anti-malware, EP and EDR

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adel A. | Director Information Technology Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I love that its cloud based, and works!
With minimal admin activities / steps, you achieve a lot.
Its auto scan and shield feature provides comfort that users wont get their devices infected with a malware.
It has a great user interface, easy and intuitive. This includes both the end user endpoint application, in addition to the admin side of managing the system over the cloud, Kudos to the UI designers.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Its not cheap.
It would have been great if malwarebytes include patch management so that they also resolve / patch vulnerable systems.
I had a couple of incidents, where malwarebytes reported a system as clean, but when scanned with other solutions some issues were still found and repoted.
Rootkit scanning can get heavy on the computers to a point of not being usable.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Enjoy it, its a great solution given that you have the budget for it.
Go with the cloud solution and not on prem, you get great features and support.
Setup SAML SSO as well to allow your admins to access this system seamlessly, taking that you do use a federated IdP.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the most trusted Anti-malware & Anti-rootkit tool.
Stops drive-by malware attacks/infections.
Blocks potentially hazardous website.
Real-time malware and ransomware protection. I never worry about attacks.
It definitely adds peace of mind, especially once deployed at scale.

 ### 36. Malwarebytes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colin A. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Ease of use and the ability to scale for the future. It is the best way to keep my small team secure without the overhead. It is one of the easiest pieces of software (for antivirus) that I have used thus far. It will be a part of my long term financial plans to keep my business safe.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The price is expensive but definitely worth it. The ability to manage the system without overhead and the fact that my small team (many of whom are not tech savvy) is quite impressive. We have tried a few other companies, which may have had more features, but have still returned to malwarebytes because of the ease of use. Still, it does cost a pretty penny compared to the other programs that we have used.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

check to make sure you need all of the features that it has. We use every feature it has, even though other companies have products that do more. This is the fastest and easiest way to manage your cyber security for a small to medium-sized business.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The threat of internet security and privacy. Threats have been reduced in recent years. I have realized that my business has a huge need for Cyber protection, especially since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 ### 37. Solid Security Suite with No End-User Headaches

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard A. | Marketing Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2021

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I very much like the fact that Malwarebytes EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) is powerful but highly hands-free for all users other than admins. It maintains a solid security floor without expecting input from less tech-savvy users. In addition, it's extremely thorough in its monitoring and covers all of our needs in terms of security risks. Our organization is primarily concerned with ransomware, as we have a significant volume of archival video and photo content from ballets we've performed over the years that needs to be kept safe for future rehearsal purposes for our company and others. Thus, maintaining access to these files is critical as not only would our organization suffer from their loss, but partner organizations and fellow ballet companies as well. Thus, Malwarebytes' 72-hour ransomware backup system is crucial for us.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The program is rather heavy on false positives; while that is entirely to be expected with any sufficiently aggressive security tool, sometimes there isn't the post-analysis follow-up I'd like on said false positives. This complaint is, of course, a bit on the trivial and pedantic side, as Malwarebytes has covered all of our necessary bases; I would just appreciate a bit of clarity regarding these false positives for the sake of peace of mind.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

I would strongly recommend Malwarebytes for Business to anyone looking for an easily manageable platform to implement for comprehensive security coverage. Just check in with the Nebula agent once in a while to make sure it's all running smoothly, and it otherwise couldn't be easier to manage.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're a mid-size nonprofit organization with relatively low overall tech literacy and critical media files to protect, so Malwarebytes for Business serves to keep us safe from compromise of said files, primarily due to ransomware. We appreciate it being as hands-free as it is for most users. I also like how the Nebula client allows me to allocate various security permissions to different administrators, to minimize my workload.

 ### 38. Malwarebytes provides us another layer of protection.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn A. | VP of IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The cloud based dashboard is insightful and easy to manage workstations. It provides a quick look at your environment and endpoint status. The ability to push agents and updates is very useful. The ability to add you own block rules works great for blocking items that are not business related, but also not malware.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

That the detections report is emailed as a csv that has to be downloaded to be viewed. No protection for Zero day exploits.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Do not hesitate to purchase. Great product and if the budget is available, upgrade to the complete package with remediation.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This product provides endpoint protection to complement Firewall rules, Web filter, spam filter, and end user training. Malwarebytes is easier to manager and the dashboard provides a quick snapshot of your endpoints.

 ### 39. Protected files and web pages

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anoop S. | Human Resources Manager , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2022

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The most amazing thing about this program is the quality and promotion of protection from possible malware or virus attacks created by hackers. The system in general is also protected by creating layers of protection to the files. Malwarebytes for Business is very important and simple to use.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

We have managed to project security to the entire computer and system, however there are viruses that must be removed manually which I find very outdated.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

The recommendations towards Malwarebytes for Business are the best, it is very positive and largely strict in identifying viruses or any kind of direct threat.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has simply given protection to my files, projects and overall system, the company is confident in being able to make moves all over the web and receive third party files with a lot of confidence in Malwarebytes for Business threat detection.

 ### 40. Malwarebytes for Business is a Great AV/EDR Companion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2022

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The agent auto-updates and provides minimal interruption to end-users during scans and detections. Unlike many AV and EDR solutions, Malwarebytes detects a plethora of additional items, such as PUPs and unwanted browser extensions. While these are typically less of a security issue, they generally cause a poor end-user experience. Malwarebytes also saved us when COVID work-from-home initiatives struck. It completely blocked unwanted RDP requests when users directly connected to the Internet. The cloud console is easy to use and provides detailed data about detections. A weekly email digest helps see the bigger picture for our organization.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The agent sometimes misbehaves and causes severe processor spikes. Such behavior generally requires a reinstallation of the product to remediate. While this isn't very common, it isn't enjoyable when it occurs.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Pair it with an industry-trusted EDR, and you will never need to look at another product again. Malwarebytes is excellent at detecting nuisance items on endpoints while also providing backup to EDR products or traditional antivirus products.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Malwarebytes to enhance our EDR solution, thus creating a team of products that handles a multitude of threat vectors. When we first implemented Malwarebytes for Business, our numbers of reported virus and malware infections plummetted to record lows. We have continued seeing very little malware across our organization, largely thanks to Malwarebytes.

 ### 41. MalwareBytes at a School

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mats H. | Network Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2019

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Runs in the background, not very visible, quietly does its job. Most users are not even aware of the fact that they have Malwarebytes installed and running on their computers.
The server part is nice to see who is up to date and which computers are behind on updates.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

A little hard to see what it did clean out and how dangerous it was. It does a lot, but how much of that is mission-critical? The price is sort of high and it's hard to explain to upper management what would happen if we did not have it. But everything is good so we want to keep it running

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Great product, take the time to set it up right and reap peace of mind!

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have peace of mind knowing that there is something running on all our computers that constantly is scanning for threats and infections, and we can see the amount of bad things that made its way into our system and was then blocked by MalwareBytes. All of IT sleeps better at night due to MalwareBytes.

 ### 42. Absolutely far exceeded our expectations as an automated Business AV and Anti-Malware solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2019

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Level of Protection, Detection, and Remediation Capabilities
Ease of Use and Deployment
Excellent Customization
Superb Customer Support
Great Pricing per Seat/License
User Interface and Usability

All in all, the software really has protected our endpoints very well. Rarely, do I see false positives like I did with (other) software A/V companies. The optimization of the application code is great and results with minimal system resources required to use. Very easy to install and deploy, setup, and configure - for instance - a 5 machine setup would take roughly ~10 mins from start to finish. Very user friendly UI making it simple for users' to perform daily tasks such as a simple or advanced scan. The ability to add file and folder exclusions to its' software are a great addition in-case you have conflicting software that may need to be excluded from scanning. Very small lightweight download and installation - virtually little disk space required to install.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Not much, although if we were to suggest an additional feature, is to change the purchase minimum of 100 seats for the OneView web control panel. Small companies would greatly benefit from this.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Take the step - I highly advise at bare minimum to try it out for yourself. You will be sold once you realize its' true potential of protection and value.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To secure endpoints with confidence knowing Malwarebytes will perform it's duty. It has helped our organization on several occasions by blocking and alerting to known threats.

 ### 43. Love Malwarebytes!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2021

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

This product has helped from day one. We were having issues with viruses and the like. We weren't sure which product would work best. We did some research and came across Malwarebytes. We completed the free trial, and WOW, what a difference a free trial can make.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Out of the gate, I did find it challenging to navigate with it being a new program. Yet, I was able to look into their classes, and the online help is fantastic. I wish I had received a handbook before deployment.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving problems we were not even aware of. PUP and Malware. It is fantastic once you are in the cloud module to see all the items that have been trying to attack behind the scenes and have been stopped.

 ### 44. Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2022

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The web-based console provides insight into what machines have the client installed, what devices require updates. In addition, the new features allow us to secure the endpoints from accidental removal and alert us.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The settings for our artificial intelligence anomaly detection are rigorous, and there have been several false positives related to the high level of monitoring we have configured.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved the problem of not knowing what endpoints have protection and if that protection is up to date. The centralized management located in the cloud has simplified the task of monitoring endpoints from remote locations.

 ### 45. Cost-Effective and Easy to Implement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I've used Malwarebytes since my days interning at an MSP 15+ years ago, so when in the market for an enterprise endpoint security system, they were at the top of my list. The AD integration makes it easy to customize whitelists per-group or OU, so we don't have to open everything up for everyone when only a few users need a program or site whitelisted. And the anti-ransomware has saved our bacon on a few occasions, without needing to mess with FSRM or other hacky workarounds.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I'm sure this is common to all AV solutions, but the resource usage can be pretty high during scans. We try to keep them after-hours, but our mobile users whose laptops are powered off complain about scans running first thing in the morning when they power them on.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving our need for enterprise quality endpoint protection from the latest evolving threats. Benefits are not having to worry about new and emerging threats -- MB has us covered.

 ### 46. Great product that does what its created to do

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason L. | Field Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2021

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The best part of Malwarebytes is that it is quite "thin" and doesn't interfere with the OS. Rootkit check is very helpful to us for virus remediation. It catches everything, and it is the standard when checking.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Nothing really. Everything works as needed. I haven't found anything that has been bad about it. It uninstalls well and installs easily. It is very easy to use and user friendly.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems that are solved are virus remediation. I like the thoroughness of the virus checks. It also provides peace of mind while using and assures me that there are no problems.

 ### 47. Best protection for my customer base

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Malwarebytes gives my 400+ customer base the best protection going on 3 years. With NO bad infections on any computers. Its easy on the computer performance as well.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

There has been a problem with network printers and a Windows 10 update that shows the printers offline. A beta version is supposed to fix this but has not been released. There is a work around currently until its released.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There has been no downtime or data recovery needed for any virus infections for my customer base, since implementing Malwarebytes.

 ### 48. Malwarebytes is reliable in difficult situations.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark L. | Sr Network and Systems Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The repair of malware on a computer and restoring it to working order without losing data or re-imaging.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The text discusses the use of individual licenses due to being a K-12 institution with a large number of computers, serving 135,000 students and 20,000 staff. There is a preference for using it as a comprehensive endpoint management solution rather than relying on the 'free' Microsoft solution.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When non-IT staff, such as teachers or administrators, get infected with malware, it can be removed. Additionally, having Malwarebytes on those who frequently get infected helps us avoid troubleshooting and issues.

 ### 49. Malwarebytes is a leader in its field of expertise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pierre F. | Director, Information Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2019

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The product is the best of its category to prevent threats and problems with security issues regarding ransomware and malware. It goes along with our current antivirus solution and makes us feel confident that we have the best protection for your workstations. It's also easy to install and easy to upgrade. A simple renewal of the licence and your protection goes on. Administration and deployment is also very easy as everything is managed from a centralized console.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I wish that Malwarebytes increase its reputation in the field of antivirus. We would like to have a single solution for antivirus and anti-malware. So far, it is not recognized among the best antivirus. It's why we decided to install an antivirus side by side with Malwarebytes. That should also work with third-party providers to implement their technology on appliances that can protect at the firewall level or develop their own appliance.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Do not hesitate to implement this level of protection. Even if you have an appliance protecting you for antivirus and even a local solution on your workstation, Malwarebytes is a must today to protect you from these advanced treats.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We once had a ransomware attack that we solved by recovering files from our backup. It sill cost us time and effort to recover all the data even if there was no loss. Since we installed Malwarebytes, it never occurred again and feel confident that we are well protected against this king of treats.

 ### 50. Endpoint Security for Small Medium Business

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The solution is centrally managed via the cloud platform, which is available 24x7.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Some of the endpoint security features are not available within the solution such as DLP. Besides, when installing the endpoint client, sometimes it will fail with generic errors, which is hard to find the reasons.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

It will be suitable if you are looking for a malware protection solution with common protection/features.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generally it helps to detect most of the malwares and protect the endpoints most of the time.

**Official Response from Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Mobile:**

> Thanks for sharing this helpful feedback with us!
