I love that they definitely know what they are doing. Their web UI for audit preparation has answers for almost every question that we wanted to ask. And it surely helped us move as fast as possible through the whole list of tasks.

I also want to mention their PenTest partners. They did an amazing job testing our product.

Not a big fan of the online editor for docs; I would be happier with just a viewer and a simple upload replacement style workflow. I was not involved in the selection process or the decision to use Thoropass for our compliance needs, but I will say that I think it was a great selection! Thoropass helped us to complete our SOC 2 evidence submission and audit process. The platform also allowed us to have a centrally-located repository to maintain our compliance documentation/evidence and delegate tasks to the appropriate team members - where we could upload our evidence simultaneously. As a small business perusing SOC 2 compliance, the path to certification is daunting. Using Thoropass made the entire process understandable and doable as tasks were broken into small chunks and never felt overwhelming. Overall, the platform had a clean and had an easy-to-use design. Thoropasse's built in controls, and roadmaps make obtaining and maintaining compliance quite simple. By breaking things down and by providing prebuilt templates as a starting point it's easy to shift or integrate your current policies into Thoropass. The UI was quite buggy, this may have been a problem as an early adopter, but the Thoropass team have been able to quickly fix the issues, and the UI issues have been pretty stable for a while now. The tool has a lot of nice features, but I do feel some of them are rudimentary at best. Even thought they often add increased functionality it often comes at a later date.
