It allows me to create my weekly performance dashboard quickly and efficiently **What do you dislike about think-cell?** I don't like the fact that there is some limitation to the analyses one can perform with thinkcell, and because it automatically formats for you it tries to place the graphs alongside other objects on the slide. I can quickly add labels and trend lines to my charts and link them directly to my data source. It is easy to change colors and fonts across the entire graph with just a click or two. I can also quickly add labels to specific areas of my chart. One feature Thinkcell has that isn't available in Powerpoint is showing the difference between two marks on the chart. It draws a line between them and adds a label with the amount of the difference. My company has switched to using Thinkcell for most of our executive presentations as it is a much more robust tool. I have recommended it to others within my organization. I also like that Thinkcell includes waterfall charts as a standard option. Powerpoint doesn't include waterfall charts as a default option, and this is one of the specific needs for many of our financial and sales presentations. **What do you dislike about think-cell?** There is a bit of a learning curve to this software. My company required me to start using it right away with no formal training and it took a while to figure out how to get the charts to look the way I wanted them. Think cell does provide online videos that were helpful when I was initially learning the tool. I wish it were more intuitive One other dislike is that if you send the Powerpoint to someone who doesn't have Thinkcell installed, the chart will revert to standard Powerpoint if they need to edit it. **Recommendations to others considering think-cell:** Watch some of the videos on the Think Cell website to learn more about how to use this software. Viewing is fine, but if non-users try to edit the same elements it will cause formating errors that are difficult to undo without starting over on a new graphic. **Recommendations to others considering think-cell:** Make sure that other users who may edit the same documents also have Think-cell installed. If not, you will get some compatibility errors. If you are not committed to the Microsoft Office product suite, there are other options that are embedded into competing presentation software that could meet the same needs without the need for a separate plug-in subscription. **What problems is think-cell solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are fairly limited charting tools integrated within powerpoint. Think-cell offers both more options, better graphics, and more powerful customization. Benefits include faster production of documents and more persuasive communication with executive stakeholders, since the options are more varied for communicating different types of analytical insights.
