What do you like best about ThingLink360 & VR Editor?

The interface is really intuitive. It's easy to add 360-degree video clips and place points of interaction. The timeline on the bottom helps you to know and time when elements will appear. This is the probably the fourth or fifth different VR story creation tool I've used, and this one is by far the simplest and most cost effective. Some wanted to charge up to $600 a year! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThingLink360 & VR Editor?

I wish it integrate with a cell phone better, not so much for creation as for viewing. I wish ThingLink had a dedicated 360-degree video viewing app. Dealing with video on the web sometimes can be really slow.

Sometimes the 360-degree video doesn't always work, and it's hard to know why.

The different payment levels don't make a lot of sense to me either. I have a basic account for $75 a year, and that gives me all the access I need, but I think there's another level. I'm not sure what it offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ThingLink360 & VR Editor:

Consider this first before hiring a developer for 360-degree video projects or designing an interface in house. It's really easy to use and effective. I could see this being really helpful for anyone interested in 360 including realtors, travel agents or tour guides. Your clients will love how engaging it is to be able to choose their own path and how easy it is to view one of these on their cell phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ThingLink360 & VR Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use it to teach journalism students to tell non-linear immersive stories. I think it solves a problem for us of encouraging students to link more broadly about how to tell stories and engage their audience. I used ThingLink Photo Editor before to encourage them to add context to photos. The 360video editor takes that to another level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
