**What do you like best about The Success League?**

What I like best about this course is that it goes beyond the basics, pushing me to develop deeper skills and fresh insights. The instructor’s real-life stories, practical examples, and engaging personality make the learning truly impactful. The Business Review and Communication sessions stand out, helping me focus on delivering real value and becoming more strategic with customers. I leave each class feeling motivated and challenged to think differently, listen more closely, and connect on a deeper level. I’ve become a better listener and have started asking leading questions that encourage my customers to open up more.

**What do you dislike about The Success League?**

In all honesty, I cannot think of any. Thank you.

**Recommendations to others considering The Success League:**

I just finished class 10 out of 15, held weekly. These sessions are highly interactive and cover comprehensive topics. As someone new to Customer Success, they don’t just cover the basics—they push me to develop deeper skills and insights. I especially appreciate the instructor’s real-life stories, practical examples, 

There are so many golden nuggets I take away from each class, but the Business Review and Communication session stands out. It focuses on adding real value to customers and making engagements more strategic. I find myself pushing my thinking to explore new ways to deliver genuine value and become a better listener. These courses have also sharpened my communication skills, helping me connect better with customers and encouraging them to open up about their business processes.

**What do you like best about The Success League?**

The Leading as a Director Course Success League helped me level up as a manager and customer success professional to fine-tune the skills I use every day. I immediately was able to put learnings into practice and better my decision-making. I frequently find myself referencing class materials and plan to continue to do so. The small group size helped us to learn from the material but also to bounce ideas off of one another, which multiplied our learning.

When I had to miss a live session Kristen was great about scheduling a 1:1 meeting with me.

We sometimes had to rush through the ending of the classes to stay on time.

At times, the lessons felt a bit fast-paced, but that was only because there were so many valuable conversations and insights to cover—an hour seemed to fly by!

The Success League provided invaluable support in helping my team, many of whom come from non-sales backgrounds, become more confident in positioning add-on sales to existing customers. The team at Success League share best practices the interactive class allows you to hear from others on the same journey. For someone new to the industry it was a good way to start building your network.

Any issues you have during the class are quickly resolved by Russell and his team. They work hard to make sure you have a good experience.

Russell always encourages engagement in and outside of the class. He can  answer questions, share resources, and connect you with other CS professionals. Listen Success League podcasts that lean into CS topics and feature industry leaders.

**What problems is The Success League solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Passion for people and products is a start, but the Success League team gives you the tools and insights to set your team up for sustainable success. The CS Leader program helps me map out a foundational team structure from which I can build a high-performing team.

**What do you like best about The Success League?**

The class is engaging, and the instructors are friendly. It can also be great for networking with others in the class. And the courses are not at all painful to sit through!

**What do you dislike about The Success League?**

A full hour can be a lot if you already have a jam-packed work schedule. Also, each class is only offered about once a month or every few weeks, so if you have to reschedule a session for any reason it can push out your completion of the course by months.

**Recommendations to others considering The Success League:**

This is a great course to learn not only the basics but dive deeper into every aspect of Customer Success. Save the templates and resources after each course as these are very helpful to the CSM process.

**What problems is The Success League solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teaching the ins and outs of Customer Success and how to strengthen your relationships with existing and new clients. It's helping to sharpen my skills and think about things in a different way.

**What do you like best about The Success League?**

I just finished 12 weeks of 1:1 coaching with Russell and found it to be a life-changing process for myself and my business. Russell is incredibly personable, gives invaluable insight, and is an inspiring leader in his own right. He helped me navigate the development of our client success metrics (including helping me figure out what the metrics should be!), listened to my ramblings about being a team leader/owner, and always made meaningful connections between the different conversations we'd have to help me better understand myself in my role. While I love being a leader, in theory, the day-to-day can be difficult to navigate. Russell consistently came with a smile on his face, without judgment, and listened intently to offer poignant insight on whatever topic I brought to the table.

**What do you dislike about The Success League?**

I truly have 0 dislikes of the services I received. Each interaction was meaningful, made sense to me as a new "user", and felt worth my time and money. Nothing to complain about in the least.

**What problems is The Success League solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a young company that didn't necessarily set out to grow a team of people looking to us to lead them. Now I'm in a position where I need to be a strong leader, need to be respected but personable, and need to retain a team of people around me that can help our business succeed. I found The Success League through a Google search and thought they might help me specifically with understanding how to build out a customer success team, but my experience has been much more all-encompassing to the business.

**What do you like best about The Success League?**

The Success League was a great way to learn new skills as a CSM in digestible webinars. During these webinars, participants were able to ask questions and reflect on real-life scenarios which made them easy to translate into their day-to-day interactions.

**What do you dislike about The Success League?**

The Success League uses an easy-to-navigate platform.  There was nothing I disliked about the experience. The only downside was I wish the certification was longer because I enjoyed it so much!

**Recommendations to others considering The Success League:**

The Success League is definitely worth the time! Both the trainers I interacted with were amazing and very knowledgeable. Whitney and Russell were very supportive and able to answer any questions. It was a great experience!

**What problems is The Success League solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Success League helps support customer-facing teams and individuals such as myself in acquiring skills that will benefit not only professional growth within the field but personal growth. The webinars and supplemental materials provided help form a solid foundation for knowledge that will be useful for a new CSM or even an experienced CSM in expanding partnerships and relationships. Each webinar focuses on specific skills or information that can lead to higher customer success rates.

I took The Success League's CSM Leadership training course in early 2022. The course had 16 one-hour sessions, held online over Zoom, with about a dozen participants per session. There was an optional test for certification at the end of the course.

**What do you like best about The Success League?**

What I liked best was the depth of experience of the trainer, Whitney. She clearly knew the subject matter well, and had many years of experience at various companies as a customer success leader. I also found the slide presentation to be well-organized with just the right amount of information. The course materials were interesting and easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about The Success League?**

Nothing -- the whole course was excellent from top to bottom!

**Recommendations to others considering The Success League:**

If you're looking for a top-notch professional training program for Customer Success, look no further!

**What problems is The Success League solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to take this course because I was transitioning from a related profession (Client Services) into Customer Success. I knew how to handle customer relations in general, but I didn't know the CS field as well as I felt I needed to in order to move into this area. I wanted to learn the industry standards, the vocabulary, and the metrics for success, so I could interview better and find the right organizational fit for my next role. This course really helped me do that, and I successfully landed a CS director-level role right after finishing this course. I am certain that this course put me on the path to landing my dream job!

The Success League provided our Client Success Team with a multi-month engagement of regular training opportunities focused on quite literally all areas of Client Success. Full disclosure, I joined the team pretty far into the engagement and as such only sat in on a handful of sessions whereas my colleagues attended many more.

**What do you like best about The Success League?**

Kristen is just so engaging and pleasant to learn from! I immediately felt comfortable and accepted as a new Client Success professional -- she has a way of meeting you where you are and the content is so easy to follow even without a ton of CS experience.

**What do you dislike about The Success League?**

My only dislike is that I didn't get a chance to sit in on more of her sessions because I joined so far in progress for our engagement. :)

From the sessions that I sat in on, we focused a lot on how to meaningfully engage with all kinds of clients -- the ones you automatically click with, and (more importantly) those that feel tough to crack. Great content as we further refined our CS strategies after a recent acquisition.

We engaged The Success League to assist in upskilling our CX team in many different facets.

**What do you like best about The Success League?**

The content of the training was spot on. Russell spent the time before the sessions began working with content that was specific to our organisation and tailored a great program. Russell is a great presenter and an SME in CX. The collaborative approach to learning was great for the team, and everyone gained a lot.

Nothing! It is my 2nd training program with TSL and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I highly recommend Russell and TSL. I've had 2 great experiences with them and you won't regret it. I will definitely use them again.

**Describe the project or task The Success League helped with:**

When I was hired as a CSM at my company, they were thoughtful enough to enroll me in The Success League's CSM course as part of my onboarding experience. As a domain expert, I was well versed in the types of customers I would be working with and their companies' backgrounds, but I was completely new to the CS world and a bit apprehensive about my transition from nursing to a role at a tech company.

**What do you like best about The Success League?**

Having regular, weekly classes with Whitney during my onboarding has helped bolster my confidence and taught me how to apply concepts learned in class to real-world interactions with my customers. I genuinely don't think I would have as much confidence in my role or would have onboarded as successfully without the insights the course provided.

**What do you dislike about The Success League?**

Every class that I attended in the course was helpful, but some of the topics that weren't directly related to customer interactions were less "exciting." However, I do think they were still valuable in understanding aspects of working as a CSM, like generating buy-in from other teams within your company.

**What problems is The Success League solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciated that there were always additional resources that were vetted by The Success League that we could dive into more deeply after class if a topic piqued our interest or spoke to a bigger challenge our team was working through. 

I strongly recommend this CSM course to anyone looking to polish their skills as a CSM or for anyone new to the CS field, and I will keep an eye on new courses and materials to come in the future from their team!

With an organisation hiring lots of CSM's in a short amount of time, we needed help with upskilling our team and providing a high quality training program to help them understand how CSM's go above and beyond being a "day to day" contact for our strategic partners. Whilst currently underway of our 15 module course, we are already seeing huge benefits across our customer organisation with developments of more mature success plans, helping our customers see and realise the value they gain from partnering with us.

**What do you like best about The Success League?**

The benefits we've experienced so far are:
1)  Learning from those who have been there, done that - You're getting mentored by people that know this world inside out. Whitney has been a fantastic leader and partner through this process so far.
2) Resources to help! Beyond just homework but actual physical assets/templates that help us kickstart newer processes
3) A great structure: Clear, intuitive, and something the team themselves find value in helping with their day to day work

**What do you dislike about The Success League?**

This isn't a dislike per say but it's important to understand the time required to undertaken in the extensive type of course or program we decided to go for. It's weekly or fortnightly meetings for a long period of time. This can seem daunting at first but when put into perspective, is greatly valuable, especially considering a lot of the day to day challenges are topics of specific discussion within the sessions themselves.

**What problems is The Success League solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of a newer scaling team figuring out both what we need to deliver to customers, whilst understanding best practices for how these things can be better achieved. The benefits are not only clear and demonstrable but also quick - To put that into perspective, we are 3 modules into our 15 module course and already the team have started using their initiative to integrate certain methodologies taught in the first few sessions into our Success Plan strategy, and we're already seeing positive customer feedback from this. Certainly for a newer scaling team, a program from The Success League is a must.

relevant topics,  helpful insights.  we've only had 4 classes so hard to answer this completely.  we aren't using SL software - we are taking classes at the moment.

give specific company examples to the general concepts you are teaching, make break outs longer - not enough time for everyone to speak, don't put fellow Xylemers in the same break out (we will try to differentiate ourselves on zoom to help with this issue)

no advice at this time - too new

**What problems is The Success League solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we've only had 4 classes - can't speak to this yet.  the 'difficult conversations' module hit home because that is what we do all day.  can't say our performance has increased yet.

Kristen came, worked with us on content tailored to our use cases, and delivered a stellar session!  Highly recommend.

I took the CSM certification (15 session) course.  Each module focussed on a different aspect of CS.

**What do you like best about The Success League?**

The instruction was top quality.  Hearing other folks challenges and approaches was also very valuable - a great reason to go with a live course rather than on-demand material.  I also really appreciated the structure of having key takeaways at the end, with an exercise provided in a follow up email.  Our CS team is planning to do one of the exercises each quarter to keep ourselves moving forward.

**What do you dislike about The Success League?**

It would have been great if more people had been visibly engaged during the course (cameras on, responding to questions from the instructor etc).  I recognize there is little that the Success League can do about it, but maybe a bit more encouragement.

**What problems is The Success League solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone who has recently transitioned to a focussed customer success role, this really helped me to get a handle on where we are in line with best practices and where we have room to grow/improve.

Kristen guided our team of Client Success Managers through many exercises that built skills and confidence in experiences we regularly encounter.

The sessions were not too long, and the multiformat was a nice break from a fully lectured course.

Outside of meeting work assignments were required to be ready for the next class. Although the exercise turned out to be more than useful, we needed to find time to complete it.

Engaging clients that may have become distant or unresponsive, upselling, having confidence to ask tough questions, asking the right questions to unlock opportunity and relationship building.

Cameron, from Success League, worked with me and my Learning and Development leader to create a unique program using a subset of the standard classes and incorporating our examples to train our Delivery Managers in how to interact more effectively with their customers.  We covered everything from understanding their customer's business model, goals, and expected outcomes, preparing and delivering meaningful QBR decks, asking great questions, managing objections, and uncovering opportunities.  Cameron is a great teacher.  She shares her message with many examples and interactively engages with the audience.  Not only is it engaging, but it drives home the concepts and helps the trainees internalize the message and apply it in their daily activities.

The teaching method is clear, engaging, interactive, and relevant.  Cameron's experience is evident and adds value to the content she is delivering.

**What do you dislike about The Success League?**

I did not find anything I disliked in this engagement.

**What problems is The Success League solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our key business challenge was that our Delivery Managers are people with technical backgrounds most comfortable talking about technology.  Customers are more interested in discussing and solving business challenges.  The sessions helped our Delivery Managers consider the customer perspective and to adjust their conversations and information shared to align better, thus expanding the customer trust in our people and services.

A great comprehensive and interactive course that helps put instill useful and practical methodologies.. As someone who did the role first and took the class second, it was very refreshing to attend each class.. I was a part of the Customer Success Management class and what I liked most was the reinforcement each topic had. Each lesson was met with a break-out exercise where you and members of your class discuss how you might currently be using a certain process or, how you would like to use that process in your daily workflow. It was great to hear other real-life examples to help ingrain the topic. Hope this helps you decide one way or the other!

**What do you dislike about The Success League?**

Truly wasnt much to not like about this class! Email correspondence could use some improvement as I did feel left in the dark after my class was completed / exam was taken.

Balancing being pro active and reactive and eliminating churn and unrealistic expectation shift.

Kristen was amazing! She was very open to feedback during the training development and kept the training relevant to the audience. The 2-hour workshop was interactive and provided key insights regardless of tenure. Many wished they had additional time for the breakout sessions.

Since the workshop was virtual, the participants needed more time in the breakout sessions to get situated.

Some of the exercises we went through were understandably generic - it would have been nice for the examples to be SaaS specific. With that being said, I understand that the program needs to reach a wide variety of business types.

Having an instructor to answer questions throughout the course, along with a smaller group of people that could share their same experiences was great.

Some lessons didn't apply to our business as much, but I understand why they included the lesson, and maybe one day we will be able to apply them.
