What do you like best about The Social Press Kit?

We really appreciate anything that helps us make our job easier! If you send out press releases (or you need to get a block of information out to a group of people on a regular basis) this is the fastest, easiest way to integrate multiple platforms into one easy to share link. This is honestly a little more power than we need for our smaller business, and we don't utilize all of its features. However, the ones we do use make it well worth the price! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Really NOT worth the money and a bit misleading"

What do you like best about The Social Press Kit?

I loved the IDEA of Social Press Kit. Then we actually tried to use it. Basically it encourages people to cut and paste links or images, which they could do on their own from any page on our website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Social Press Kit?

Just when we thought we figured out a functionality that made it helpful for us (creating different campaigns for our different product lines/promos) we realized that everything is kind of crammed together and doesn't have it's own URL. So it's essentially a messy cut and paste junk drawer.

One more thing - we had questions and the "customer service" person who emailed us back was some smug marketing consultant who made it clear our business didn't matter. Now I guess we both win because we went elsewhere.

There are simple scripts that enable social sharing for most websites, online shopping carts, and software applications. My recommendation is to use a mid-level developer to give you a functional tool one time for a few hundred dollars rather than pay hundreds ongoing for a tool that really doesn't work well. What do you like best about The Social Press Kit?

SPK is a tactical tool that cuts through the red tape of sharing content. The simplicity of using SPK makes for a streamlined experience for both my team as well as my network of partners and clients. I can package valuable content, including video, in a single location. I can also keep the SPK up to date with my most recent content and easily make changes that are reflected immediately, in case I have already sent an ask out to my network to share Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Social Press Kit?

We originally wanted SPK to support larger file sizes, but they recently released a product update that took limitations off file sizes which has been great for easily uploading high quality photos and videos.

You do have to upload the photos in desired dimensions though, SPK doesn't have a crop/resize tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Social Press Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem that SPK solved was reaching my entire audience as well as their personal networks. Gaining access to that second, third, and fourth degree audience is hugely valuable. It is a cost-effective alternative or supplement to paid media on various campaign launches.

It's one of a kind and is easy to share with stakeholders / influencers. It works for a lot of our needs and cuts out a lot of time in building something from scratch all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The site glitches quite a bit... We often run into trouble saving the content and have to rebuild the wheel whenever things go south, which is incredibly irritating. The post themselves don't always preview the website properly / link well. And the character counts on twitter tend to be wrong... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
