They don't encourage orgs to sugar coat or mislead people about what the experience is truly like, because they know that job seekers want to find a place they truly belong. The Muse made it easy for us to create videos, take professional office photos, and develop an organizational profile that represents who our org really is. **What do you dislike about The Muse for Employers?** As a nonprofit organization, I'm not sure that The Muse's job seeker profile always fits what we need. We have gotten a lot of applicants from the site, but haven't made a lot of hires from Muse referrals. I would guess that for-profit tech and design companies do better. We were also underwhelmed by one of our photo shoots in-office - as an amateur photographer I felt like I could have done better. It has been around a long time and I think its values should be promoted more often on different platforms. There isn't enough focus on targeting other workforce employees from other generations and demographics beyond Gen Z. User experience isn't the best as it is difficult to naviagate through the page. I think they do a great job of positioning the company as a diverse workplace and help us attract more women to our page. They have a very engaged and supportive community, and I would recommend them to other companies. Even our free profile from the Muse brings in several organic impressions, and I'm excited to see the results once we actually turn on our premium profile and promote with sponsored content. **What do you dislike about The Muse for Employers?** Again, this is more from the Fairygodboss side, but I do wish there were more conversions from Fairygodboss. Very intuitive and easy to use in regards to job scraping, setting up the company profile, and features such as employee testimonials for videos, brand blocks, etc. Flexible in terms of product offerings. The a la carte option has been a great selling point to the business, which allows them to purchase certain features that may not be of interest or within budget for others. **What do you dislike about The Muse for Employers?** The quality of the videos is pretty standard, but they do the trick. Videos are advertised as being simple and easy to film. However, there have been instances in which they would misspell someone's name or title. On rare occasions, I would have to provide feedback on the quality of the footage that was submitted. Something that I believe should have been caught during the editing process and not during review and approvals. Nevertheless, the editors are very receptive to feedback and are able to make the necessary changes in a timely matter. We have built out a very robust page that provides a lot of great insight to our culture, our people, our onboarding program and most importantly our core values. **What do you like best about The Muse for Employers?** The ability to customize your company page and showcase a 'day-in-the-life of an RXBAR employee." **What do you dislike about The Muse for Employers?** We originally used The Muse as an ATS system however I don't think that is its intended purposes as it's not built out nearly as well others. I wish there was an easier way to manage inbound candidates versus just Archiving. I wish their Content pieces were a little more customized and higher quality- some of them are what we would consider 'very basic' content/how-tos/guidelines. Then again, entry-level folks are a prime demographic for them. **Recommendations to others considering The Muse for Employers:** It's great for quality inbound traffic however if you are looking for a way to manage candidates, The Muse is not the answer. You'll need an actual ATS system. ### 37.
