What do you like best about The Job Sauce?

They quickly dialed in our needs and were able to translate our ambitious requirements into a meaningful list of candidates. I like to move fast in hiring and they responded quickly, communicating daily on changes to the candidate pool, along with details of each sourced candidate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?

I don't have any complaints. I will use them again when I need to reach for management roles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering The Job Sauce:

I think you get the best work out of Job Sauce by communicating frequently, honestly, and transparently. I let them know about the specific problems we were facing in both the technology as well as the future vision for where we were going with our engineering groups. This gave them a lot of context to target relevant experiences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?

Job Sauce was asked to help source top quality engineering management candidates. Our requirements were pretty bold - we needed leaders with both big company and start up experience who were exceptional with people and communication. We wanted them to have experience often only found in late stage or mid level companies and well as have the ingenuity and resourcefulness of start up leaders. We needed leaders who could communicate to all levels of our organization. They did a phenomenal job honing in on our target profile and quickly brought us top quality candidates who fit well what we were looking for, eventually resulting in extending offers for all our open roles. What do you like best about The Job Sauce?

When you work with Scott and Eric, you're not working with another recruiting firm, you're working with strategic partners who just get it. From the start they take the time up front to truly understand the role, including getting into a lot of deep context as it relates to business, culture, technology, and the value that the role will bring. This allows them to find fantastic candidates and to position the role in a way that finds the best match for the applicant as well as for us as clients. I always appreciate how they keep the partnership going, being very communicative through the process, and getting the best matching people for the role in front of us. If you have open roles and are sifting through hundreds of applicants that just aren't quite what you're looking for I highly recommend partnering with The Job Sauce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?

In all honesty I can't think of anything I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering The Job Sauce:

The Job Sauce is all about finding an exceptional match, and of course they take this mindset into how they run their business and partner with clients. My recommendation is to have a conversation with them, and see if their partnership is the match you're looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have worked with The Job Sauce for the past 3 years on a few key technology openings (both ICs and leadership) and it has been a great partnership. We've hired several successful candidates using their services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Job Sauce?

They have been willing to help me in tangential areas to their core function, such as assisting in onboarding my in-house recruiter and sharing tips on hiring the team of the future with our supervisors. They are experts in their field and take customer service to the next level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?

I am struggling to find a dislike. I have had some awful experiences with recruiters and they really set the bar high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a Chief Talent Officer, recruiting is one of many functions that rolls up to me and I don't have time to stay on top of the ever-changing trends and news. TJS is always quick to share their take on how we should approach our open searches and what skills we should be looking for in new hires. I can uniquely appreciate their level of service as a former recruit and an executive who has used them in our searches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Job Sauce?

Interviewing skills and domain knowledge:

They are excellent at applying knowledge gained from interviewing hiring managers and matching it to their deep knowledge of the hiring pool. This results in Job Sauce surfacing highly qualified candidates that you will be excited about.

Strong work ethic and agility:

Scott and his team work smart, but working hard is clearly in the DNA of Job Sauce. When dealing with a difficult position or some ambiguity, they put their heads down and grind until they succeed or get enough data to justify a change in strategy.

A joy to work with:

Beyond their success in filling many key positions at our company, Scott and his team are a great group of people I genuinely enjoy working with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?

I've yet to run into a downside. I couldn't recommend them more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Job Sauce has helped us hire eleven roles across our organization during one of the most competitive times in hiring tech over the past two years. These roles comprised nine senior positions, two directors, and seven in engineering. Before we had Job Sauce, it felt like an extremely daunting task to land engineers at this time. I sincerely appreciated that they made a point to ensure we had a diverse pool of candidates, resulting in more than half of our hires coming from underrepresented groups.
