**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shanée B. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2024

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

Tyler Kosik was extremely professional during the process of linking a qualified candidate to the role of best fit. He provided me with helpful information about the company and the role, and was able to coordinate seamlessly between me and the hiring team.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

I did not have any dislikes during my experience with The Job Sauce.

**Recommendations to others considering The Job Sauce:**

It is always best to come prepared with a complete profile and a thorough resume. This will help recruiters, like Tyler, facilitate accurate matching between a professional and a new role.

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was in the market for a new opportunity and The Job Sauce was able to present me with a role opening that I had alignment with.

  ### 2. Superbly quick, concise, accommodating and most importantly custom to my needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garrett L. | Director of Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

Best part of JS is how understanding they are to the real life problems of startups. They were flexible, accommodating and appropriate available when we needed them. They understood and transformed imprecise instructions into tangible outcomes

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

Really not much in all honesty...They event sent me good hot sauce after our engagement :)

**Recommendations to others considering The Job Sauce:**

JS is superbly good at helping you form the job description you need to get what you want. Later on, they were really sharp in the questions they asked and ultimately helped us find the perfect candidate for multiple positions. They understood those cultural intangibles that are hard to read on a resume alone.

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JS worked with us to recruit a very hard to fill position. They did so in a very thoughtful way. JS was able to help us develop a better understanding of what we were looking for. They helped us understand the challenges we had in the past and trek on in the future.

  ### 3. Transparent and highly collaborative

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ed K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2024

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

Eric! He was supportive, accommodative and always available to answer questions.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

I cannot think of any downsides at the moment

**Recommendations to others considering The Job Sauce:**

They are here to help you. Ask them for their advice and allow them to set you up for success.

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eric set the expectations, walked me through all the steps and gave me feedback throughout the whole process. He played a key part in my success. Cannot speak highly enough of both the experience and the results!

  ### 4. Cool company name, cool people who work there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gregory C. | People Operations Generalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2024

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

I am a HUGE fan of quick responsiveness, and TJS is on the ball with keeping me updated about our candidates and getting back to me with answers to my questions. As someone who does a lot of interview coordination for our company, this is super helpful.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

The fact that I don't have any "The Job Sauce" hot sauce for my burrito bowls.

**Recommendations to others considering The Job Sauce:**

Based on my experience, you will find value using TJS for technical roles that you are having a hard time finding great candidates for yourself. You will also likely appreciate their fast responsivenes to inquiries!

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can be hard to find strong candidates for some roles, but TJS does a good job of bringing strong candidates to the table that might otherwise take much longer to find.

  ### 5. Saucy from both sides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2024

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

They have been willing to help me in tangential areas to their core function, such as assisting in onboarding my in-house recruiter and sharing tips on hiring the team of the future with our supervisors. They are experts in their field and take customer service to the next level.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

I am struggling to find a dislike. I have had some awful experiences with recruiters and they really set the bar high.

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a Chief Talent Officer, recruiting is one of many functions that rolls up to me and I don't have time to stay on top of the ever-changing trends and news. TJS is always quick to share their take on how we should approach our open searches and what skills we should be looking for in new hires. I can uniquely appreciate their level of service as a former recruit and an executive who has used them in our searches.

  ### 6. Seamless experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica G. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

Their constant communication, I never felt loss throughout the process.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

I didn't have any negative experience with the Job Sauce.

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tyler and Scott helped me land my newest job and they were great at communicating with me throughout the whole process and giving me helpful interview pointers!

  ### 7. I would highly recommend using the Job Sauce to help you add talent to your organization.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle E. | Growth Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

Interviewing skills and domain knowledge:
They are excellent at applying knowledge gained from interviewing hiring managers and matching it to their deep knowledge of the hiring pool. This results in Job Sauce surfacing highly qualified candidates that you will be excited about.

Strong work ethic and agility:
Scott and his team work smart, but working hard is clearly in the DNA of Job Sauce. When dealing with a difficult position or some ambiguity, they put their heads down and grind until they succeed or get enough data to justify a change in strategy.

A joy to work with:
Beyond their success in filling many key positions at our company, Scott and his team are a great group of people I genuinely enjoy working with.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

I've yet to run into a downside. I couldn't recommend them more.

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Job Sauce has helped us hire eleven roles across our organization during one of the most competitive times in hiring tech over the past two years. These roles comprised nine senior positions, two directors, and seven in engineering. Before we had Job Sauce, it felt like an extremely daunting task to land engineers at this time. I sincerely appreciated that they made a point to ensure we had a diverse pool of candidates, resulting in more than half of our hires coming from underrepresented groups.

  ### 8. Highly recommend the Job Sauce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler D. | Corporate Advisory Board Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2023

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

In a time when most recruiters depend on algorithms to identify candidates, I recommend the Job Sauce to create a personalized candidate and customer experience that produces results and that your organization can be proud of.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

No matter what the outcome, The Job Sauce has always ensured an incredible customer and candidate experience. I will continue to work with and recommend The Job Sauce because it's a guaranteed quick win when entering into a new role, strengthening a relationship, or scaling a team. At this point I do not have any negative feedback for the team at the Job Sauce.

**Recommendations to others considering The Job Sauce:**

The Job Sauce is a boutique organization that provides a hands on experience for hiring managers. If you're looking to hire 100+ sales reps in a short period of time, they are likely not the best fit. If you need to hire for 5-10 mission critical roles and maybe you've tried and failed already, Scott and his team are absolutely the right choice.

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I talk about my relationship to Scott I like to joke that, try as he might, he hasn't been able to get rid of me since the day we met. However, there's a lot of truth in that statement, as I've worked as a customer of Scott's in a number of different roles at a wide variety of companies across healthcare/life-sciences, logistics, technology, etc.

My own personal career path has landed me in a number of highly ambiguous positions where the growth is rapid but the roles we are filling are unique and require skills that may not be immediately apparent from keywords on a LinkedIn page or a resume. Scott and his team are the best that I've found at not only understanding the intangibles of what you may be looking for in a new hire, but coaching you in the right direction to continue to recalibrate your job description until you find the perfect fit.

  ### 9. Principal at Advantage Capital

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2023

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

Me: “I want to make sure you heard me correctly, I said Top 10, not Top 10%, as in we’re looking for 1 of the best 10 possible people for this job.”

Scott: “Hold my beer.”

They say never to trust a skinny chef…unless of course that chef is a ripped maestro hunter gatherer of talent spinning up delectable field-to-table meals. Enter Scott and Eric @thejobsauce. In my experience, people use the word “recruiter” casually as if they are all the same. Those same people probably butter their toast with Land O Lakes instead of Kerrygold – monsters. If you can’t tell the difference in quality or don’t care to find out, these guys aren’t worth it either, just hire the first dial-for-dollars recruiter you find and move on.

If, however, you’re still reading and curious what the best tastes like, you’re in the right aisle. It’s a simple decision. Your people are your business, and nothing else matters. Nothing. You want better creative work? Hire better creative people. You want better sales? Hire better salespeople. You want a strong work ethic culture? Hire people with strong worth ethic. And if you can't hire well, find someone who can help.

Scott and Eric are hands down the strongest professional recruiters I’ve worked with. I could tell you it’s their deep sourcing, their efficient screening, their well-oiled process, their expert closing tactics, their fair negotiations, their client coaching, their immediate follow-up, their candidness, their right-freaking-now responsiveness (it is all those things), but great, not good, great recruiting is only possible if the recruiters can recruit people better than themselves and better than their client can imagine – they can, they did for us, and they will for you.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

No downside. Hire them if you believe A+ players are worth 10X B+ players.

**Recommendations to others considering The Job Sauce:**

Hire them.

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring the best Chief Talent Officer in the US.

  ### 10. Fantastic recruiting experience, a real partnership

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2023

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

The Job Sauce is a real partnership. They take the time to really understand what you're looking for, they spend the time properly vetting candidates, and they give you real insight (not just resume fluff) based on their assessment. They're fast, they're professional, and they're personalized. Can't say enough good things about working with The Job Sauce.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

It is a small team, but that ends up being an advantage due to the personal nature of their service.

**Recommendations to others considering The Job Sauce:**

If you take the time to set them up with what you need, it'll pay dividends in the leg work these folks can do for you. Other recruiters pay lip service to up-front calibration sessions; with The Job Sauce, they actually listen and act.

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Job Sauce helped us identify real, qualified talent that fit with our business needs

  ### 11. Great Recruiters

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2024

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

Personable interactions with recruiters.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

Most inerteractions are over text / email and I never had an "account" with the job sauce. It would be nice if they had a bit of a digital prescence.

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was job hunting for a competitive role in a competitive space and The Job Sauce guided me through the process and helped me cut through the nouse.

  ### 12. Supportive, Efficient and Focused Recruiters

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2024

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

The Job Sauce not only had a clear and concise recruiting process, but they also provided guidance and focus for me as the hiring manager. I appreciated their support and reminders. They did an awesome job providing hiring and onboarding best practices and tools to our start-up, who does not yet have a formal HR/People team.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

I don't have anything negative to say about TJS!

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Job Sauce is a recruiting firm to start-ups. They found awesome candidates for the position and greatly reduced the time it took me to hire since I did not have to do first-round interviews.

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

Friendly and efficient team. That's the biggest thing, they are people I WANT to work with.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

They are a small team so sometimes they may have less resources than the bigger, more established companies. However, that did not prevent us from being successful.

**Recommendations to others considering The Job Sauce:**

Do your due diligence, but make sure TJS and Scott are part of your planning discussions. They will deliver.

**What problems is The Job Sauce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Job Sauce has been helpful in developing and identifying candidates. I have found that candidates and individuals I speak to have more polish (in terms of preparedness) after working with Scott and the team. I have partnered with The Job Sauce on both recruiting and developing individuals and have been incredibly pleased with the results.

  ### 15. I enthusiastically recommend The Job Sauce

All in all, they give you back time from the recruiting weeds while helping you build a strong team!

**Reviewed by:** Lawrence B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about The Job Sauce?**

They will push for the right thing. If they see gaps in things like how a job is positioned, or the interview process, or the type of people being considered, they will speak up and provide their perspective. And they are also responsive to feedback on their own positioning and strategies. In this way, they are act like true partners, not just a hired hand.

**What do you dislike about The Job Sauce?**

Not much to say here ... if you are hiring a lot of people, it will get expensive, of course.
