What do you like best about Access Financials?

Access Dimensions is a great accounting system, You are able to produce invoices and statements and can bespoke this to meet the layout you require. Although the be-spokeing does come at a cost. The ledgers can all be run individually and you are able to produce a variety of reports. Great overview of P&L and Trial Balance. You are able to do your tax returns via the program, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Access Financials?

The SAAS system was sold with zero down time but it has been misold as there can be down time, Support team are hit and miss and depends on if you get lucky or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Access Financials:

Dont rely to much on what the sales team promise, carry out your UAT testing well. Chase the issues if you need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Access Financials solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use the software for all our accounting needs. We receive invoices which are automatically scanned in and inputted in to the system. We do our approving via a another software and then this is pulled in to Dimensions.Our payroll integrates in to this software also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Allocation and unallocation was not as simple to correct. Correction module was able to edit and change too much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great how its can interact with 3rd party applications. All the ledgers can be closed independently of each other. Reports are great and overview are good. Simple to input invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Support can be costly and also and also sometimes reports that need a slight adjustment can be costly too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software allows you to have separate ledgers and each ledger has a good collection of reports and the option to purchase custom bespoke reports. Access allows you to bespoke the software to meet your needs which is brilliant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Over the years we have noticed that the support issues have been hit and miss, sometimes you will get someone who knows the software and other times they haven’t got a clue and a problem can drag on for weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
