Easy of use and straight forward concept. Team members are easily able to learn the system and navigate swiftly. The conversion process is very quick that little to no time is wasted in the process. Even slightly harder to read texts are converted to the best of the systems ability. The application rarely ever freezes or shutsdown as with many applications and converting documents over x amount of pages slows down the system but I have not run into that issue. Some of the features are simple and cannot do more than what I had hoped for. This system simply converts documents into pdfs and any further edits, I would need to do in Adobe which is not a big issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Textfrompdf is that you don't need any Adobe software or other PDF viewer to extract text from documents. It is very easy to learn how to use and all team members can be trained without much effort. The implementation time is very short, in less than a week you can have it implemented throughout the organization. All our staff is very satisfied with the results obtained and it has saved us many hours of work, as otherwise we would have to type all the documents to update our website. When the PDF documents from which we want to extract the text have handwriting stains, this causes some errors in the extracted text, but it is not much and can be easily corrected. What I don't like is that you can't extract text from scanned documents. It would be nice if the OCR feature could be included to be able to extract text from scanned documents. Because we have many documents that we only have copies of and it would be very useful to extract the text to publish them on our website or to modify the content in a word processing program. The TextfromPDF software does a pretty good job of creating text from PDFs. It doesn't have as many issues as some of its competitors with embedded pictures and graphics. Overall, the software works reasonably well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't particularly appreciate that the formatting is not always clean when doing the translation. There are still several bugs in the formating part of the translation.
