I use TextExpander in my tax and accounting work to quickly insert standard paragraphs into client emails, especially for due diligence and document requests. I like how simple it is to quickly insert standardized text. Once my snippets are set up, they are always available when I need them. Snippets allow me to quickly reuse well-crafted language without having to rewrite it each time. I find it most beneficial that snippets are easy to set up and can be inserted quickly. I use TextExpander mostly for email templates and it saves me immense time on drafting emails from scratch or copy-pasting templates from a Word doc. I love the ease of use and the time it saves me. After using it at a previous company where they paid for our subscription, I now pay for it myself at my new company because I can't be without it! Sometimes I have to open the app for my shortcuts to work. If I log into my computer without bringing up the app, I can sometimes type in my prompts, and nothing happens.
