**What do you like best about Text Request?**

I find Text Request user-friendly and appreciate that it offers both a desktop and app version, making it versatile for business communications. I like how it provides an easier way to communicate with customers compared to calling or emailing. Additionally, I like that we can link it with our business landline instead of personal cell phones, which is helpful for maintaining professional boundaries. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

I don't like that I have to clear the app notification if I acknowledge something in the desktop version.

Text Request provides an easier way to communicate with customers than calling or emailing. It's user-friendly, has both desktop and app versions, and lets us link business landlines instead of personal cell phones, making it convenient for business communications.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

We've been using Text Request for over a year now, and it's been extremely helpful for our customer service reps. It has become an easier option for customers to get in contact with us over email or phone calls. The noticeable boost in engagement and lead conversions continue to rise. Highly recommend any business looking to add another way of communicating with their customers and ensure to add the widget to your website!

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

I would like for Text Request to improve on possibly a ticketing system to be assigned to the customers phone number or if they want to open a new ticket. I believe this would help keep things organized and be able to track down history. 

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Text Request has made it much easier for our customer service team to connect with customers during business hours. It’s significantly reduced the number of phone calls we receive, thanks to how quickly and efficiently we can respond via text.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

I use Text Request to communicate with my clients and really value that I can have multiple team members responding to the same text thread in one convenient dashboard. It's helpful that I can use my personal phone less for business. The autoreply feature is also great for letting my clients know when they're reaching out after hours. I appreciate the dashboard being so easy to use, allowing me to sort and organize my text threads in different ways based on my needs. I like that I can see my account, usage, and billing stats so easily online. The plan and billing are set up in a way that I can choose add-ons and expand my account as needed, providing great transparency. The initial setup was very easy, and overall, the experience has been very smooth.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

Group chats functionality would be so helpful! I do accounting, and a lot of my clients are businesses where both owners need to be involved in conversations. I still have to use my personal phone for these conversations, because Text Request doesn't have the functionality to allow me to do that.

I use Text Request to let multiple team members respond to texts in one place and to keep business off my personal phone.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

At the moment i am liking the group message feature makes it easier to send marketing messages and keep up with the lost leads- a simple copy/paste and compose the message. The stats after sending the message ie. delivered, opted, undelivered makes it easier to know who we can target.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

The edit/delete feature would be a great addition- there has been instances where we mistakenly send a message/wrong contact a text and unfortunately there is no way how to deleted or edit the message, tend to lead to miscommunication for that particular customer.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The communication problem is being resolved with the clients that have a busy life style they tend to quickly send us a text message and we update their account accordingly. This is helpful to ensure we are running a well oiled machine and keeping the schedules.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

Their ability to work with me as a (very) small business owner, and the onboarding process.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

I was invited to training, but the only day available on the calendar was day after tomorrow, and I'm out of the office all day. I emailed back (making sure it was not a non-reply email address) to ask for other options and haven't heard back, yet.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I moved my business cell phone to an VoIP line and need a business text number as it's on my cards and my clients like it. As I've gotten used to Text Request, I put the app on my cell phone and open it automatically on my desktop so can check on texts any time. I also sent out a group text to my clients, which was super helpful.

Text Request feels just as reliable as ever, and it continues to get easier to use over time. I especially appreciate the improvements to message organization and the faster response times. The automation features have also been really helpful for keeping communication consistent without needing a lot of extra effort.

There isn’t much I dislike overall, but I’d appreciate a bit more flexibility in the automated messages and the reporting options. Also, when I’m managing a large number of conversations at once, it could be smoother and easier to handle.

We’ve been using Text Request since 2021, right after reopening post-pandemic, when our original platform ZipWhip transitioned into Text Request. It has been extremely reliable and we’ve never had any issues. As a law firm, we primarily use it for client texting and for sending PDF documents to confirm appointments, court hearings, and other important matters. The ability to attach and upload PDFs is a huge plus. We also really appreciate being able to use our main office phone number instead of an 800 or 888 number—it keeps communication professional and seamless. Highly recommend.

No true dislikes—occasionally there are updates that take a moment to adjust to, but nothing disruptive.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

I really appreciate that Text Request allows us to have direct communication with our customers without the hassle of emails. I also value the mobile app because it lets me keep in touch with my customers while I'm on the go and might not be at my computer. Additionally, I like the group text features, even though they could be improved. I find the accessibility of the platform really nice, making it convenient for business marketing texts.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

Uploading contacts could be more easily done. Sorting them with the group messaging feature is a little complicated and takes several extra steps. The cost per text is pretty expensive, and it's cumbersome with the character limits and emojis and images costing more.

Text Request lets me communicate directly with customers, avoiding the hassle of emails, and their mobile app keeps me in touch while on the go.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

This is such an easy to use option for communicating with our customers. Even my boss who is not computer savvy picked it up quick! We were able to transfer all of our contacts seemlesly from our other service!

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

Unable to send and receive video messages. This is a minor issue because we only have a handful of clients that want to share videos with us.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rather than making 20 plus phone calls a day to notify clients of their appointments, I am able to send group text messages, saving time and effort. Customers are able to share photos, saving us a trip out to do a consultation.

I use Text Request for my real estate brokerage because it's very simple to use. I love that I can schedule texts and even have weekly events texted automatically, making it a 'set and forget it' process. The platform is simple, whether I'm sending group texts or scheduling ahead. It's also handy for sending fliers. I've also appreciated the straightforward setup experience, with a 1-1 Zoom call that made learning the program easy.

I can't directly link my text request number to my online submission forms, but through Zapier I can integrate Text Request to my online submission forms.

Its advance feature require subscription either monthly or annually which make costly to small or mdium size company.

I really like the great features Text Request offers. The dashboard is very simple to use, which lets me interact with customers easily and spend less time getting more customers. It's easy to navigate all the sections, making me more productive. Plus, the pricing is affordable, which is a huge bonus. The initial setup was very simple and fast, and I would definitely recommend it to friends or colleagues.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

We still use Textrequest on a daily basis and it porvides all the basi functions we need. However, I have noticed some glitches and slow downs in refreshing the page. There tends to be a delay in loading new texts, and sometimes the most recent chats will not appear on the main page. Other than that, everything has been great!

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

Still can't receive videos. It comes up as 'unsupported attachment'. It would be a good feature for text request to have.

Easy and swift communicaion with clients. Clients are able to send photos, which I can easily save to my computer.

I like when multiple users are texting, I can see the initials of the person that sent the text. I also love that I can schedule texts. I also love that I can search for a text by using the phone number. There's so many great features!

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

Not sure if you have this or not but I wish I could see an alert in the tab when a new text has come in.  I work multiple tabs at time so I think the alert would be nice.

I love getting a quick repl  instead of waiting for a return phone call.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

I still like the ease of use and  communicating. I love that all my agents can quickly respond to any of the customers on all of our dashboards.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

They have raised prices and the variability of it is frustrating. Very hard to budget, Many other companies have flat fees.  I still don't like that we can't move clients responses into columns (pipelines whatever you want to call it - for example - "working", "needs follow up" "not interested at this time" etc) and clear them off the boards when they are complete.

Our call center agents now have no reason to have their phones at the workstations - they can communicate with our other team members and clients all right there on their computers.  Our CSR's are more productive.  Our clients get quicker responses.

Here are a few new things a like about Text Request - 
- Able to send standalone images/PDF's
- New desktop app + browser extension makes it easier to access & is convenient.
- Also we can assign roles per account user 
- Easy to sync with CRM's & quickbooks

I think text request can improve with some points mentioned below - 
- Pricing is not clearly listed on the website for all plans.
- mass messaging can feel limited with carrier restrictions.

There have been several Quality-Of-Life updates since my last response. The interface is operating much better than before. Quicker response times, and ease of use have helped improve Text Request to a much better program.

I like how clear it is as the interfacing is very easy to navigate and I don't ever get lost trying to find information. I like that we are able to send texts that are bigger than 160 characters and that it is able to group them together. I like the function of the templates!

I dislike that when I am creating a new text thread and I need to copy and paste something, the system will glitch and close out that tab. I am able to re-open it and my text is still there, however for some reason the contact was removed from it.

I dislike that the colors are so bland, slightly depressing. I wish that the white and gray had a little bit of warmth to the colors. It can still be an off-white color but just bring in warmth. Same thing with the gray.

I dislike that when I re-open the application it always goes to the grid view, I wish I could make the combined view open automatically every time I open text request. I also wish that in the sort and filter it was automatically sorted by newest first.

Also, I really hate that if I ever resolve a conversation, if that person texts again it will not automatically make the conversation unresolved. I have to manually go in and uncheck it to make it unresolved. Which creates problems if it automatically puts the sort filter as show at the top all unresolved messages. I have accidentally missed many messages due to this feature.

It is resolving having to use a physical phone to text patients. We use this in a clinic setting in order to check if patients are on their way to their appointment, send billing messages, and update patients on any information about their appointment.

We are able to add department tags to each number which helps increase response time & accuracy. We can see what staff member sent a reply. There's no limit on how many people you can text.  We send auto-texts via our CRM that is connected to Text Request so that important information about the clients file can go to them in a timely manner without eating at staff time. The customer support feature (via text) has been very useful when we have questions or concerns. Our office uses Text Request daily.

When you update the Display name, you can't see the client's phone number without clicking their name to open the details window. You also can't see auto-texts sent to a client unless you manually send a text to them (then a whole list of past texts will appear).

You are able to communicate freely with clients and have a paper record of it, receive pictures, and offer advice after hours. It also provides a good environment for our FEAR FREE hospital where we don't have phones ringing off the hook constantly! I also like that you can schedule texts to go out in the future.

Update to original review: I dropped my score from a 10 to an 8, only because TR periodically has issues where you can't send text to pay links, will randomly log you out and say your login is invalid, or default to the hospital text line at the top of the list instead of the one you last left off on. These issues are seldom, but have been enough of an issue to mention and drop my initial score.

I wish there was a notification/sound when texts come through from clients so when I am working after hours Text Request for the hospital I know when things come through without having to constantly check my computer.

I like how easy and intuitive it was to get setup along with their support, which helped as needed when I had questions. Their system is very easy to use and I was able to deploy it across multiple locations with various users without having to explain anything to them! Our needs are fairly simple but this has allowed us to reach out and contact customers where we haven't been able to get a response thru email or phone calls.

It allows me to open it from any browser tab. This is helpful so I can input phone numbers and names easily and quickly and provides less mistakes on spelling. I also like that I have saved texts that I can use by just clicking on it and entering their first name! This is helpful because I have several tabs open at one time and I send a text to every customer I speak with.  I also found it very helpful that if I have a question on how to do something within Text Request, all I have to do is shoot them a text. They have been very helpful and even sent me links on how to use it for future reference.

The only downfall I have found is that my text number is different from my actual business phone number. This can get confusing for some of our older customers. I know if I do have an issue, customer service is right there via text message.

This software has a very user-friendly layout. It is easy to navigate and use, even for our office staff who are not very tech savvy. We have hardly encountered any tech issues or bugs. The texting features are amazing! We can do so much with them, such as getting reviews, creating templates, using keywords, processing payments, sending attachments, photos and more! :) The customer service is always prompt and responsive to our emails and voice messages. We rely on this software every day, all week long. The software installation was smooth and quick, without any interruption. This amazed me greatly. I am very satisfied with TextRequest. The intregration process was smooth and seamless! Very little work needed to be done on my end.

I really have no complaints at all. The software works amazing! I struggle to send videos to clients. Photos work well, but I have to use my personal cellphone to send videos.

We are very satisfied with this software now. The only drawback is that emojis reduce the character limit from 160 to 70, but I think this is due to their provider, not the software itself. We have always gotten promt responses with accurate information and they are always friendly and willing to help until your question/issue is resolved.  Using Text Request has saved our office so much time using texts for appointment reminders, and patients have really liked the convenience of texts for reminders and other communication.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

There aren't any real dislikes or downsides of using Text Request.  They offer different plans which do have some limitations of features, but I do like that you can add those features on to your plan without having to completely move to the next plan level.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have saved a great deal of time when using texts to send appointment reminders, and patients prefer text reminders most of the time rather than phone calls/messages.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

Our company was previously using a different service that went out of business. Our corporate office recommended Test Request. We love the ability to accept payment over text. We send out several group messages, Test Request makes it very easy to do so.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

We are Satisfied. I have found it difficult to search sent items however it may be a user error.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps us keep in contact with our customers, even after hours. Helps us know what to expect before coming in each morning.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

The fact we can use our voice phone numbers within this system is a huge plus for us. Our response time from our applicants was reduced dramatically. Our turnaround has increased dramatically. It is easy to use and mostly well organized.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

The fact there are not better tiered security levels is a handicap. We all have to be Admins to see others' texts. This should be a lower than admin, maybe a manager's level security. It would be nice to be able to choose groups who can see each others' texts to limit some who shouldn't. Admin or a Super Admin should only be total control and able to view/do everything.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better turnaround and faster reponses from applicants. Able to use our voice numbers to text with. We are more productive now.

**What do you like best about Text Request?**

We still love how easy it is to use. Text Request is used everyday more then five times a day. We would not change it. It is easy to navigate, easy to setup any automatic text messaging, you can also advertise if you would like. Customer Service is top notch they help right away. Easy intergation with any software, we currently use it with Clio.

**What do you dislike about Text Request?**

No dislikes so far. We do not have any dislikes.

**What problems is Text Request solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication with our clients more efficient.  Fast responses to simple questions. Reminders of appointments, and clients sending pictures.
