They help us determine which customers would be good fits for our ongoing video testimonial and office photography efforts. I work closely with their team to concept a story, come up with the best possible questions, figure out logistics, work with the customer to help them feel comfortable and prepared... the list goes on. They film, interview, and shoot b-roll on-site (making my job WAY easier), and cover the entire editing process, sharing updates along the way for review. Their process is similar across projects so I always know exactly what's coming and when and what's expected of me, but as I said, they do practically all of the work. I lead the content marketing front on my team, including video testimonials and customer office photography. Before finding Testimonial Hero, we had no internal resources to create and edit customer testimonial videos, which is a must at almost every company for external validation. I was recommended Testimonial Hero from a colleague who used them at a previous company and after speaking with the founder, Sam, I was immediately sold. Their knack for storytelling and attention to detail from beginning to end of a project is one of the best aspects of working with them. On-site, videographers come with compact equipment, making it much less intimidating for the customer. They take the lead on interviewing and it's clear that the Testimonial Hero team puts a lot of value on that skill, paying great dividends in the long run. Logistically, they have videographers all over which means there are zero travel fees, and if an opportunity comes up last minute, I always know they'll have someone who can help. In fact, in one instance, when a customer got back to me on a Tuesday that the upcoming Friday was the best available date, Testimonial Hero made it work. I can't recommend them enough. No downsides with the process or experience. The only issue I had was with our credits expiring. It was very difficult to find customers that were comfortable with video. Testimonial was very proactive in keeping me apprised of our credit deadlines. And, when we approached it, they proactive offered to pivot to created some shorter videos from the existing content we had. So I ended up not losing the credits. Thank you! At the end of the day, the videos are only as compelling as the customer who is starring.
