What do you like best about TestDevLab?

What do you dislike about TestDevLab?

Expect the normal of wanting to increase the cost per hour to increase their revenue from the project. Knowing what increase you would like to accept is highly recommended to know where to say no and have a plan in mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TestDevLab solving and how is that benefiting you?

I joined Rebtel as a QA Manager and my task is to organize and set a clear path to improve quality at Rebtel. Already had 2 people from TestDevLab, they where really kind and helped onboarding me. Easy to communicate with them and with their lead from TestDevLab. We run into some issues and it was quickly resolved and we not have 4 testers ranging from 2 manual testers and 2 QA Engineers aimed more for automation.

"A great source for webrtc competitive analysis"

What do you like best about TestDevLab?

They have a great technical setup for their webrtc testing that allows them to even provide full packet captures of the scenarios they run. This has made our lives easier as we investigate their findings. They also provide detailed decks describing their findings, which helps us dig into details. What do you dislike about TestDevLab?

I'd like to have greater engagement from TDL in advance of running tests on our platform, so that we can be sure they've configured our product correctly -- they optimize for making it easy, which is appreciated, but in our most recent test we didn't realize they'd configured things in a way that disabled one of our newer features, skewing results slightly. Spend extra time in advance deciding what you really want to test, and think about how you can optimize getting the understanding you want -- by trying to test "everything" it's easy to accidentally cause a huge multiplication of the amount of work you're asking TDL to do, which causes a price increase in kind. What problems is TestDevLab solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a webrtc-based remote work platform, we want to know how our product performs compared to our competitors in the industry. We've engaged TestDevLab to run periodic suites of identical tests against our platform and our biggest competitors. They do a comprehensive job, collecting metrics that matter to us in graphs across multiple test runs. They also include relative comparisons, identifying the best and the worst of the bunch, and call out unusual behaviors that they discover. This has helped us uncover bugs in our own product, and to make educated guesses as to the technical workings of others. TestDevLabs' findings substantially impact our long term video roadmap. - Price: We can discuss the test scenarios, and the price depends on the number of test scenarios. It seems very reasonable and controllable.

We have been developing and operating a video call service within the LINE messenger. To enhance the call quality of our service, we need to measure the call quality accurately. However, there is no standard for measuring video call quality, making it a challenging task.

I highly recommend TestDevLab for automated QA support and partnership in software development. In evaluating other partners we were concerned about whether they had ample resources capable of climbing a learning curve to understand our stack and industry. We also wanted resources that could flex to speak with our team that was EST, CT and PST and TestDevLab was flexible with meeting times and eager to provide updates. The reported consisted of Audio/Video test and included very detailed results that show the performance of the product under different conditions.
