Good choice for developers, and comes with preconfigured AWS CLI tools which makes it extremely easy to streamline deploying applications within the cloud. Fairly decent performance, as to be expected by Amazon. It is also free to use beyond the AWS charges, so its a great option compared to other distributions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fairly limited outside of AWS. It can be used on a virtual machine, but its best used on a dedicated AWS machine. If you're using a service other than AWS it wouldn't be my pick.
