We’ve been using Telnyx extensively and what stands out most is the reliability and performance of the platform. It’s clearly built from the ground up rather than relying on third-party infrastructure, which shows in the call quality and consistency, especially at scale.

Pricing is also very competitive for the level of capability you get. Their APIs are flexible and well-documented, making it easy to build more advanced workflows without running into limitations.

Overall, it’s a robust, high-performance platform that gives you a lot more control compared to most CPaaS providers.

Telnyx solves the core challenge of building reliable, scalable communications infrastructure without having to depend on multiple third-party providers. It gives us full control over voice and messaging in one place, which simplifies our stack significantly.

For us, that translates directly into better call quality, faster response times, and more reliable performance when handling high volumes. It also allows us to build and deploy more advanced workflows without running into the typical limitations you see with other providers.

Overall, it’s helped us improve efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver a more consistent experience to our end users.

**What do you like best about Telnyx CPaaS?**

The portal UI is clean and well-designed, and the API documentation is comprehensive. Initial onboarding flow looks professional and gives confidence that the platform will work as advertised.

**What do you dislike about Telnyx CPaaS?**

The service was never delivered. I purchased a Brazilian local number on February 24, 2026. Documentation was approved, number showed as Active, TeXML app was correctly configured and not a single inbound call ever reached Telnyx's infrastructure. Confirmed in writing by their own NOC team after three weeks.
The support process is fundamentally broken: every agent requested fresh test call samples within 24-48 hours, then took days to respond at which point the logs had "expired" and the cycle restarted from scratch. I dealt with at least four different agents with zero continuity or resolution.
I switched to Twilio the same day I escalated. Brazilian number fully functional within 48 hours. Run away from Telnyx!

**What problems is Telnyx CPaaS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved nothing. I contracted Telnyx specifically to provide a Brazilian local number for an AI voice agent project. The number never worked, not a single call was delivered, and the project was blocked for over three weeks due to a carrier propagation failure on their end.
I am currently requesting a full refund of the number charge and all credits added to the account. The only problem Telnyx solved was making me realize I should have gone with Twilio from the start.

You purchased a number that never worked. You provided test call samples three separate times, and each time our team let the logs expire before reviewing them which was a ticketing process breakdown on our end.

Our NOC has since confirmed the issue was upstream with our Brazilian carrier partner — calls never reached our infrastructure. That should have been identified in the first interaction and we will take full 100% ownership of that mistake.

We're also reviewing our escalation workflow for Brazilian number issues to ensure carrier-side failures are identified immediately rather than cycling through repeated sample requests.

The best part is how easy it is to get started. The documentation is clear and helpful, especially when building your own systems. The interfaces are simple to understand, and if something feels unclear, they provide ready-made examples you can copy and paste to an LLM . It makes it easy to develop and integrate your own solution without getting stuck. call and actully talkning is supper good no issue thier.

**What do you dislike about Telnyx CPaaS?**

The pricing can be a bit confusing at first, and it takes some time to understand the cost differences between their various services. A meeting with the sales team helped a lot, but the pricing could be easier to navigate from the start. Another thing that slows things down is the time it takes to get a fully validated number, especially in Sweden. Support does answer, but it can take a few days, which becomes noticeable when you are waiting for number verification to move forward.

I’ve been using Telnyx CPaaS for quite a while, and what I like the most is how intuitive and reliable the platform is. The dashboard is clean, easy to navigate, and makes managing numbers, calls, and messages simple. The support team is outstanding, they always respond quickly, provide clear and helpful answers. The setup and integration process were smooth, and everything just works as expected.

There’s honestly not much to dislike. Occasionally, documentation could go a bit deeper for some advanced features, but the support team makes up for it by providing quick and precise help whenever needed.

**What problems is Telnyx CPaaS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Telnyx CPaaS helps us manage communication services efficiently by centralizing voice, messaging, and number management in one reliable platform. Before using Telnyx, we had to rely on multiple providers and manual setups, which often caused delays and inconsistencies. With Telnyx, we can easily automate call routing, send and receive SMS messages through API, and scale communication for different projects without extra complexity. This has improved our response times, reduced operational costs, and given us more control over our communication infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Telnyx CPaaS?**

Telnyx does not have any meaningful support. My account was denied L2 verification, which is required to use the SMS API, and the only recourse given is to "contact support". I filled out the support contact me form, I called the support number on 4 different occasions, and I have yet to interact with an actual human. The support line rings and rings, until, after waiting on hold for 10-15 minutes, you are directed to a voicemail box where you can leave a message, which will not be returned. I have left three of them so far, with two different phone numbers to contact me at, and have never heard back, so, while I would like to use some of the APIs and features of Telnyx, I simply cannot since they will not verify my account and will not contact me regarding this.

None of them, since they will not verify my account and I cannot use the product as intended.

I came accross Telnyx as a phone number provider. The whole process was straight forward, especially with obtaining numbers from Germany. To be honest it was the only platform which guided me without any obstacles through this process.
Lately I discovered that Telnyx has some out of the box AI solutions, their portfolio is growing constantly. The implementation of the AI Voice assistant through their widget is super smooth, the integration on my page worked immediately. 
Recently I had a small problem, I used the embedded Chat Assistant which guided me through, so problem was solved within a few hours time.

I am a QA engineer. I really like how easy it is to get US phone numbers for receiving inbound calls and SMS for our apps. The numbers work reliably. Also, I had a great experience with customer support when I had a top-up issue; they fixed it very fast.

Recently, I faced a minor problem when trying to top up my account with my debit card. However, the Telnyx support team was very quick and helpful in resolving this, so it turned out to be a small issue.

The best part about Telnyx is the quality of their technical support. We were implementing their WebRTC JS SDK for in-browser calling, and their team was instrumental in getting us past a major roadblock. The support staff are not just reading from a script; they are technically proficient and can provide specific, actionable solutions quickly. Their API is robust, but it's the support that makes it usable.

The primary challenge was that some of the public-facing documentation and CDN links for the WebRTC SDK were outdated. This led to a lot of initial frustration and wasted time trying to debug a ReferenceError that was ultimately caused by a broken link. Improving documentation maintenance would make the initial developer experience much smoother.

Telnyx is allowing us to build a native, in-browser calling feature directly into our practitioner dashboard. I also admire how Telnyx CPaaS is very careful with preventing scammers on their platform, which increases my trust in their services. Additionally, setting up Telnyx CPaaS was super easy, making the initial experience smooth and hassle-free. The availability of the specific features I needed, such as the Swedish number, was crucial since no other vendor offered what Telnyx CPaaS did, leading me to choose them as my provider. The first time I registered with Telnyx, I immediately tried the AI ​​Assistant. I didn't expect Telnyx's AI assistant to produce assistance agents that closely resembled real humans. Furthermore, there are many models to choose from, ranging from those that connect directly to Telnyx or via API. It also includes connections to other voice providers like elevenlabs, though I'm still experimenting with Telnyx's voices.

At first, I had difficulty accessing the usage history for each test call I made with the AI ​​Assistant. It was a bit tricky to find. It took a bit of effort for a beginner like me. However, the assistance provided by agent Aatif in the chat box was very helpful.

Really good value services. I'm pairing a SIP trunk with Unifi Talk and have been really impressed by the cost and simplicity of set up.

I've had quite a lot of conversations with support and they are always responsive and helpful.

I had some initial issues with an inbound number and it took longer than expected to resolve the problem but this seems to be mainly an issue with the upstream provider. Communication around this could have been better at the beginning but after a conversation things improved and I had daily updates until the resolution

I was looking for a reliable and affordable SIP Trunk provider to host my AI Voice Agents on phone calls here in Italy, and I have to say that Telnyx went above and beyond my expectations.

From the very beginning, the setup was smooth and straightforward. I purchased a number, configured the SIP Trunk, and started testing right away. The service quality has been excellent, with stable connections, clear audio, and a solid technical foundation.

What truly impressed me, though, was the customer support. During the configuration phase, I had a few doubts and small difficulties, and their support team was simply outstanding. I don't know much about telnyx, the thing which i need and use from telnyx is SIP account, and i am 100% satisfied from that, previous i have my business in US and i need a dialer, for dialing calls, which is cheap and easy to setup, i just and connect and sip credintionals with linphone (softphone) and thats it i am ready to start dialing which is amazing for me as a small business owner.

The thing which i want from telnyx to built is SMS feature, they have SMS feature but its difficult to setup with any tool, like linphone or other, and those are not conversatinal SMS so, if they can add this feature and make a system to easily setup this thing, then according to me, they are gem.

For small business owners, the main problem is leads, like if you are running an agency or something and to generate leads you need to dial calls, which is the backbone, from our local numbers if we dial calls internatinally then it would be very difficult for us to manage our expenses, so telnyx is the one i am using for so long.

I had some trouble signing up and getting verified - having to chat to a member of the Telnyx team due to a glitch in the new verification system. Thankfully the problem was swiftly solved after the Telnyx team member understood what was going wrong.

I was previously using a more traditional mobile provider who was charging a lot of money for flaky service. Moving to Telnyx allowed me to bring my phone system into software - it has become both more reliable (no need for mobile signal) and cheaper to boot!

We’ve been using Telnyx for voice and fax services, and it’s been a great experience so far. The voice quality is excellent, with minimal latency or call drops, even during high-volume periods. Faxing—something many providers overlook—actually works reliably through their platform, which was a key requirement for our business.

The API is well-documented, and we were able to integrate it quickly with our internal systems. The self-service portal is intuitive and gives us full control over number management, call routing, and reporting.

SMS activation delays post porting. There’s sometimes a delay in full provisioning, which can be a bit frustrating.

Routing issues with small rural carriers. We’ve had a few edge case routing problems, especially with lesser known rural providers but they eventually get resolved.

Looking for a complete CPaaS platform, I chose Telnyx and the experience is very positive. I was able to migrate all my French business landline numbers without a hitch: the portability process is clear, the steps are well followed, and the activation was done without any noticeable interruption. On the telephony side, the SIP Trunk with unlimited channels perfectly handles call peaks.

On a daily basis, I notice:

I've been testing out a few SIP trunking providers to figure out who gives me the best combination of call quality, support, and overall value and Telnyx has been the most solid so far. One of my favorite features is their SIP Call Flow Tool. This thing has made troubleshooting so much faster for me. I haven’t seen anything like it on other platforms.

Call quality is excellent, very clear and consistent. The platform also has SSO, which is a small thing, but it makes logging in quicker when I’m juggling a bunch of tools.

**What do you dislike about Telnyx CPaaS?**

I did run into some confusion when setting up a CloudUCM PBX, and the documentation felt a little lacking in that area. I had to lean on support more than I expected. That said, their live chat support is great. Nolan helped me sort through an issue I caused myself, and the response was quick and helpful.

I'd love to see them offer a better way to manage multi-tenant setups for MSPs or resellers, but overall, it’s been a great experience.

It was easy to get in touch with a sales person and they answered the litany of questions I had. Then when i finally set up the initial SIP Trunk we needed it was very easy to deploy without any individual from their side needing to be involved. The ability to easily setup features we need for our incoming and outgoing services was a pleasant surprise, and then getting the service integrated with our Avaya IP office 500v2 was very easy. We frequently have 5-8 calls coming in and going out at all times during the business day, and we are hopeful that this will meet our needs over our existing provider, Nextiva.

I was a little upset about the "Level 2 Verification" failure for a business that has been operating for 8 years now. They denied the first one, then you have to email a trouble ticket and they have you start your communication with an "AI" system that does not understand what you are saying and you finally have to specifically ask it for a customer support rep, and even then i had to message them directly to get someone started. Fingers crossed this works out.

Telnyx continues to face significant operational inefficiencies in customer support and sales. To improve overall user satisfaction, enhancements in response times, escalation procedures, and communication transparency are essential.

While Telnyx offers tiered support plans, the level of service appears to be directly tied to the pricing structure. Our attempt to transition to the Grow Plan was met with resistance, as neither the sales team nor the Director of Customer Success showed willingness to move us from a grandfathered 60/60 billing arrangement.

The company's persistent failure to respond to both sales and support inquiries in a timely and professional manner raises serious concerns about its commitment to customer service—even for those with formal agreements in place. It is disappointing to witness a once highly regarded company prioritize revenue generation over customer relationships.

I would cut them some slack however, as the 10DLC requirements from major carries just went into effect 30 days ago and their support team is still very much on the ball about educating the user about this issue once it arises.

For example, the most recent commit at the time of writing introduced a change that incorrectly set the baseApiUrl to localhost for testing purposes. This oversight wasn't removed before the commit was finalized, which means that anyone integrating the SDK currently needs to manually override this setting in their code to ensure proper functionality.

While this hasn't been a critical blocker for us, it does introduce an unnecessary extra step in the integration process and suggests that the PHP SDK might not be receiving the same level of consistent attention as other aspects of their platform.

**What do you like best about Telnyx CPaaS?**

i think telynx is not only affordable but at the same time provides great voice calling. i am using telynx for outreach to around 1k people daily through ai voice caller agent hat i build and i have no problem using it and . also its was very easy to setup everything  and integrating it with my voice model was easy and their customer support is also fast and resolves queries in just 1-2 mails and they also reply within 20 minutes which very fast for email customer support.i am happy and i would highly recomend people to use it.

**What do you dislike about Telnyx CPaaS?**

there is really no downside till now ive only  got 1 call drop in 10k-15k calls which is great

mass calling and affordability as its pay as you go model

I had a small issue when ordering a number , the number features shown sms enabled but when we purched , it was not clear that this is (local) sms . We saw this after purchse not befire

Telnyx has been absolutely wonderful. I feel like we got so lucky to find them on our first go! Customer support is amazing and very responsive. Everything in the dashboard is very easy to understand. Highly recommend

I only wish the consumption by network  would reset month on the dashboard. Not a huge deal, you can find it elsewhere

**What do you like best about Telnyx CPaaS?**

The customer support is very good. You can chat with them live to answer your questions. Most other CPaaS generally lack it and I'd say we should go with customer support. The rates along with volume discounts are transparent

**What do you dislike about Telnyx CPaaS?**

The API docs are good but I believe explaining concepts could be made easier for newbies. Even so, at least they have everything documented clearly. I wish they made it easier to download rate decks. Currently, one has to rely on their e-mail CSV but this link isn't available on the portal.

**What problems is Telnyx CPaaS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Programmable Voice API is very good which is my primary use case.

**What do you like best about Telnyx CPaaS?**

The simplicity and ease of use with the Telnyx system has been so refreshing.

We needed a SIP Trunk and channels and within 10 minutes of signing up to Telnyx we had a Trunk and Channels up with a phone number.  

Porting our exisiting numbers was also easy, and within a few weeks we had our numbers on the system.  

Everytime we have reached out to the Support or Billing Teams @ Telnyx they have responded quickly and always answer any questions, no matter how abstract they can be at times.

We are only using a few of the available features of Telnyx, but so far we are more than happy with it all.

**What do you dislike about Telnyx CPaaS?**

So far we have found no downsides or have any complaints with using Telnyx, although we have only been using it 4 months.

**What problems is Telnyx CPaaS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a SIP Trunk to provide some integration into our Call Centre Telephony system as our old system had 600+ numbers which needed to be still in our control.

This was to work with an OpenSIPS server.

The SIP Trunk and Channels provided by Telnyx allows us to still take these calls whilst utilising the OpenSIPS and we have full control over the system, rather than using a 3rd party.

Telnyx offers impressive flexibility with a clear, well-documented API. Integration with our existing tools was seamless, and call quality is excellent, even over unstable connections. I also appreciate their competitive pricing and responsive support, which answers technical questions quickly.

The user interface could be a little more intuitive, especially when it comes to managing numbers and advanced settings. It takes a little getting used to at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's a very powerful tool.

We needed a reliable VoIP solution to connect numbers to our AI assistants, with good audio quality and no interruptions. Telnyx enables us to significantly reduce our communication costs compared to some competitors, while offering a well-designed API to automate our call flows.

**What do you like best about Telnyx CPaaS?**

Our company relies on Telnyx on a daily basis to be able to reach out to our customers around the world. We use our own, pre-existing office number so nobody needs to learn a new phone number. 
I called up about an issue on the Customer Portal. They service representatives were able to help me with every question I had. They stayed with me on the phone and were patient with me until we came to a conclusion. When they realized that it was an bigger problem than a simple phone call could solve, they promised me that it would be taken care of and within a few hours, I came back to the Customer Portal and I saw that the issue had since been fixed!

**What do you dislike about Telnyx CPaaS?**

I had to stay with support on the phone for quite some time until the issue was resolved. The support team during regular business hours proved more helpful than the support team during the "night shift".

**What problems is Telnyx CPaaS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Telnyx provides a way for us to call internationally and at very affordable costs.

The service is very reliable. Audio is clear. The configurability within the portal is fantastic. It is easy to use for a reasonably technical person. Implementation was easy and the support assisted with any issues we had porting our numbers. We use it daily as it is our main SIP trunk provider for our phone system. It integrates perfectly with our phone system and has not caused any issues for us.

**What do you dislike about Telnyx CPaaS?**

There isn't much that isn't good. Their site portal login uses recaptcha and it seems poorly implemented.

**What problems is Telnyx CPaaS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The easy-to-use platform and reliable and clear voice make Telnyx an easy choice for us. I used it at my previous job as a reseller and now as the director of IT at my new job.

Telnyx offers great pricing and long-term value. Once things were resolved, the platform has been stable and cost-effective. Worth it if you're patient through the setup phase.

**What do you dislike about Telnyx CPaaS?**

but the initial onboarding experience leaves room for improvement. Compared to Twilio, the setup felt clunky, and the compliance steps took longer than expected. We encountered outbound messaging issues right away, and it took several support tickets — mostly canned responses at first — before getting real help.
