The Vantage Platform has fantastic scalability and is almost comprehensive. Cloud-based services excel and make the workflow less reliant on hardware, which is essential for remote media teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve is steep, making it hard to use for the smaller teams it seems to be tailored to. The interface is dated and the onboarding and tutorials could be so much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface is very clean and simple. The learning curve for Telestream's Screenflow product is relatively low. The price is very competitive compared to other editing software. If you want to add on additional items like transition packs and motion graphics, you can at an extra cost instead of it automatically being built into the cost of the software. The team there also has someone do demos on Facebook Live at least once a month. This helps to see the pros in action, explaining the features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike annual updates with charges for each update. I'd much rather the product was price accordingly and updated without extra charge to the customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With Telestream, we can stream and get a very good high definition video. I can stream from where I am to the world. This is very safe and easy to use, there is also a lot of product for transcoding, so everyone can use Telestream, à very good product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only one thing I dislike is when you want to stream, verify your connexion is good, because if there is a lot of people in your connexion, you'll get a lot of lags during the stream. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Telestream is tool that allows Network Administrators and Information Security Personnel to monitor, record, audit, and analyze digital video information from desktop screens.
Telestream has an easy to use interface, minimal CPU utilization, bulk data encoding, and multiple file format capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Telestream is unable to automatically detect the resolution of the screen you are recording. By default, Telestream will record all screens in 1920x1080, which is fine for business use, but it will give you black bars on the sides of videos recorded from lower-resolution screens.
The only other complaint I have of Telestream is the initial cost. While we were offered a sizeable discount due to our company size, the initial cost made it difficult to convince our C-level executives that this software solution would fit our needs. The ROI time is estimated to be 54 months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
