But since it isn't working, the idea is worth nothing. **What do you dislike about Teikametrics?** With everything supposed to be automatically optimized, my ACOS went up to 180. Chat support isoverly friendly but was not helpful to find the casue and fix the problem. **What problems is Teikametrics solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used their automated bidding system and I followed their recommendations for Amazon ads. With everything supposed to be automatically optimized, my ACOS went up to 180. Means, for every $100 revenue, I was charged $180 for advertising. The goal-ACOS was set to 18, by the way. A setting that is ignored by their system. They just spent as much as possible of my money get a sale. I hope this will not be delted; the screenshot here shows the peak of advertising spending, and the moment when I completely stopped advertising on Amazon. As you can see, my revenue was not at all impacted by the advertising expenses. Abolutely insane. I have the feeling for many years, that Amazon advertising only helps Amazon to make money. My business never had a serious gain from investing in Amazon advertising. Regardless if we had help from an agency like Teikametrics, Amazon itself, or just tried what we thought would be a good idea. I often run into problems using the software in my browser and need to use it in incognito for it to work. So impressive that they could lie with such a straight face that they know what they're doing with Walmart Advertising, when they're actually horrible at it. That's some really impressive sales tactics! **What do you dislike about Teikametrics?** I disliked everything about Teikemetrics because they are literally incapable of providing the services that they claim. They took me from a 10X ROAS to a 1.5X ROAS almost immediately and barely recovered this number to a 2X ROAS. Not only did they drop me to a fraction of the ROAS but they did it while wasting thousands and thousands of dollars in ad spend. I had been profitable on Walmart since 2016, and then I brought in Teikemetrics, and they wasted so much money in advertising that my entire account turned wildly unprofitable (not just the advertising portion - the entire Walmart account). I lost so much money. The crazy part is that they had the gumption to charge me for the "overage" of the allotted advertising spend. That means that their fees are based on how much money they can waste. Amazing! The more money they wasted the more money they made. And wow did they waste. I've never witnessed such incompetence in marketing in my entire life and such destruction of ad value and profits. The moment I stopped working with them and plugged my advertising account back in, my ROAS shot back up to a 10X on a fraction of the spend. On top of all of that, they had the audacity to try to convince me the entire time that they were doing a good job. **Recommendations to others considering Teikametrics:** Stay away at all costs. There are other options out there. Vet them all. **What problems is Teikametrics solving and how is that benefiting you?** They solved no problems unless you would consider profitability a problem. After running the software for 4 months we didn't see our campaigns getting any closer to our traget ACOS. **What problems is Teikametrics solving and how is that benefiting you?** Teikametrics helps with adjusting PPC bids to keep your ad spend down. It also gives you suggested KWs to start targeting as well as negative KWs that you should negative match on your campaigns to stop excess ad spend. ### 47. Their sales rep promised the moon but all we got were increased ad costs and a higher ACOS. We ended up paying Teikametrics tens of thousands of dollars, and their team of experts could not scale our account at a profitable ROAS target. I've tried their managed services and self-service Flywheel platform. Customer support for their "Flywheel" self-service platform is a joke. They only send you "canned" responses and constantly reference their support database which is lackluster at best. I would not recommend this platform to anyone selling on Amazon. **What problems is Teikametrics solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem we tried to solve with Teikametrics is manual campaign management however, we had to switch back to that after using their software because the automation didn't work. ### 48. We've been agency partners for over two years, have worked on several co-branding projects, case studies, and product improvement, to which the Teika team took our very blunt feedback with grace and implemented some of the changes we've suggested over the years. They are driven to be the best SaaS provider, and it has shown time and time again. Great partner, great software, great people! **What do you dislike about Teikametrics?** The software isn't super useful for small sellers that are very budget-conscious. Yes, the software helps with bid automation, budget setting, and setting different goals for each campaign or product as it will track ad performance on a SKU level. However, even with all of that, we have found it difficult to utilize all of the features while managing a small budget on Amazon PPC. **What problems is Teikametrics solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving efficiency and wasted ad spend with Teikametrics software and have been for years. These problems are solved using the keyword actions, automated bidding, campaign goal setting, Market Intelligence (which gives you a pretty good run down on the competitive landscape and potential cost), sku level reporting. We are also getting new features such as inventory tracking which is showing a lot more per sku and whole account inventory information with suggestions on how to reduce issues with high inventory age at Amazon. ### 49.
