The simulation tools are very accurate, especially for robotics. We can check robot paths,detect collisions, and validate the whole steup before anything goes to the shop floor. I really appreciate how much it can handle in one platform- process planning, robot programming, layout validation,ergonomics, everything. It also integrates well with other siemens tools,which makes data handlining smooth. The more i use it, the more useful it becomes for day-to-day manufacturing planning. Once you use the software frequently, then it became very easy to use. **What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?** The main thing i dont like is that the learning curve is quite steep.It takes time to get comfortable,especially with the advanced simulation tools. Some tasks feel more complicated than they should be. Beacuse of that the ease of implementation also takes longer than expected. And this has really become a big problem with the new AM process, Additive welding that is, which brings us really large paths, with a lot of locations. And lots, and lots of these paths.
