What do you like best about TeamViewer?

I really appreciate TeamViewer, especially for its reliability and ease of use. However, for people less comfortable with computers, the tool can sometimes seem intimidating. It is therefore important to support users and clearly explain how it works. The main difficulty often comes from a lack of understanding of the software's purpose, which can create a mistaken impression that access is permanent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

For people who are not very familiar with computers, installation and getting started can be a challenge. Clear guidance and some additional explanations are sometimes necessary for the experience to be fully positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Remote Access, Priced on the Higher Side"
4/5
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

I like TeamViewer because it requires no complicated setup, making the initial setup pretty straightforward and the onboarding easy. I also appreciate how it consolidates features such as file transfer, remote rebooting, and screen recording all in one place, which enhances my productivity. Instead of emailing files back and forth or using a shared directory, I can use the drag-and-drop feature within the application for file transfer. Also, it allows me to access my work laptop from anywhere, which is especially useful when I'm working from home. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

Pricing can be steep for individuals. A more affordable version for small teams, say 2-3 member teams, should be available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ying Qin of TeamViewer

Hi Abhiram,

Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s great to hear that TeamViewer makes remote access simple and efficient for you, from easy onboarding to features like drag‑and‑drop file transfer and remote reboots, helping streamline your daily workflow.

We understand your concern about pricing for individuals and very small teams. Feedback like yours helps us better understand customer needs and informs ongoing discussions around flexibility and value for different types of users.

"Effortless Remote Support with Reliable Connectivity"
5/5
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

I like TeamViewer for its simple and easy interface, which helps me connect quickly without any confusion. Its fast remote connection makes troubleshooting smooth, and the easy file sharing features let me send important files instantly during support sessions. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward, saving a lot of time with quick installation and no need for much technical knowledge. Overall, TeamViewer is easier to use, more reliable, and has better remote access features than other tools we've tried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

sometimes the connection becomes slow or unstable on weak internet. Better stability and less lag would improve it a lot I feel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Valeria Di Prisco of TeamViewer

Hello Bhodith,

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review!

We’re glad to hear that TeamViewer’s simple interface, quick setup, and reliable remote access are helping make your troubleshooting and support sessions more efficient. It’s great to know that features like fast connections and easy file sharing are adding value to your workflow.

We appreciate your feedback regarding connection stability. When experiencing slow or unstable connections, we recommend ensuring that both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer, available on our official website. If everything is up to date, restarting both devices—and, if possible, rebooting the WiFi router—can often help improve performance.

Thanks again for sharing your experience and for choosing TeamViewer!

Best,

"It does its thing, but constantly changes the design and sometimes requires restarts."

What do you like best about TeamViewer?

In principle, it is very simple and therefore pleasant to control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

We also use our phone through the computer, which is why TeamViewer first turns down the phone volume when connecting to a client or a colleague;

That it constantly changes its design;

That it often freezes in the contact selection when choosing whom to connect to and requires a complete restart, ending the task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

In new version of Teamviewer, It does not allow even single time to take remote without signup or signin. Same was possible in old version teamviewer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Valeria Di Prisco of TeamViewer

Hello TeamViewer user,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

It is great to hear that TeamViewer helps you maintain control and security in your business environment by clearly separating access between the Host installations and the full version. That setup can be very effective for professional remote support.

We understand that the sign‑in requirement in newer versions can be frustrating, particularly if you previously relied on one‑time connections. This change helps ensure a more secure experience by requiring all active users to have a verified TeamViewer account.

You can find more information here: https://www.teamviewer.com/en/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-classic/account/teamviewer-account/

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may have caused.
