**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

I like the simple UI that doesn't overburden me with a ton of options or suggested content. I use it to remotely control my PC which is the primary access for personal documents or checking up on some active tasks. I also use it to share screen with my fellow writers some times when they have hiccups in their workflow. As a long-time use of TeamViewer, the experience has gotten better for sure.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

I don't like that the app needs an account to work. Simple connections used to be a thing with TeamViewer but now it's account centric. AnyDesk doesn't force me to create one which is good but still it's laggard which is why I continue to use TeamViewer. Simple connections should be a priority.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great screen sharing and a great collaboration tool as well. I can join any of my writers in their brainstorming session and help them fix their mistakes. Remotely accessing my Windows PC is also seamless with TeamViewer since Remote Desktop (Microsoft) is unavailable on Home editions. I can transfer files that I have on my PC and the connected hard disks anytime. It offers unfettered access from my mobile app whenever I'm away from my desk and need to resolve an issue quickly. I don't need to struggle with typing or cursor movement as the mobile app has everything my workflow needs.

Overrides dumb security showstoppers that are literally useless.  If the client wants your help, the client needs all the help, and not want you to bug him until a problem is completely resolved.

It's not always as stable as you think it would be.

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

First, it seems to be all about security.
Simple access without need for passwords, a great management console, reliability even with poor network conditions, multi monitor, cross operating systems, there's no wish left - and patch management is truly awesome.
It's a great automation hardly ever requiring manual intervention, configurable in a granular way, and even on small SSDs, it doesn't claim a huge package cache to hold outdated software versions.
It's just my favourite support, maintenance, monitoring and patch management solution for more than 15 years now.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

There's no caveat.
One could just discuss the cons of not forcing users to get their stuff done without help and then there are these flawed concepts of "work" and "alarm clock" and "limited salary", but that's not genuinely linked to TeamViewer.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It improves efficiency both concerning amount of time and quality of service when it comes to quick support interventions, monitoring system health and maintenance and patch management.
It saves employee costs in a great manner in system administration, system availability and user needs.

**What do you like best about TeamViewer?**

Teamviewer is very useful to connect to my friends and clients remotely and control their device from a remote location. It is very easy to setup, you just have to share your unique id and password. I use it once a week.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

Although it is free for limited period, the cost is very high and the performance is also not good when the connection is bad/slow. And the free version has many limitations.

**What problems is TeamViewer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So me and my client live at very different places and they are far away. So to discuss about a project or resolve any issues it is very frustrating to meet in-person everytime as we have to a lot of travelling. Teamviewer helps us to connect remotely and discuss remotely.

Fast and stable connection,it's been best remote connection tool so far since I used 6 years ago.

To set up first time has a bit challenging for some people.Please make video more detailed for those who are not good at computer skills.

My problem is that I could not activate my licences which I bought in Australia,because I used to buy the licence under the same email address in China before I moved to Australia.The support teams helped me to solve it by phone and Email with a great patient.

Team Viewer is a very easy to use tool.  Simply enter the participants ID and a meeting is started with the option to turn on the remote support when needed. The access controls are very good! One gets a great deal of control from both local user point of view and remote support executive.

**What do you dislike about TeamViewer?**

If access controls are not setup properly, it might give away a lot of control to the remote user.

It makes it easy to diagnose issues remotely with ease. No complicated IP addresses and port numbers to discover and enter like Remote Desktop in Windows etc. You get an ID and a password and when shared, remote user can get access to the computer.

It is of utmost importance to have immediate fluid control of our high end graphics workstations. I can control complicated digital three dimensional scenes and virtual cameras as though I were on-site. It is also easily able to connect to several display feeds of our render farm allowing me to see progress across several virtual screens simultaneously. It is extremely easy and safe to log in to our studio software remotely.

Audio routing can sometimes prove difficult to setup to acoustically blend sound checks across a virtual set. I also observe that there is some background resource consumption on the host workstations when there is no data transfer to/from the host workstations. It would be nice to be able to use more dynamic layouts in the multi monitor view across ultra wide screens.

TeamViewer has addressed our acute problem of having a centrally-controlled, remote access to live virtual production stages and high performance rendering nodes. We used to have difficulties in incorporating specialize professionals who were not even physically in our principal catch basin studio. A technical artist in a different location can now control an on-screen or on-stage virtual camera or scene lighting in real-time, as though they are standing adjacent to the LED volume. This changed our staffing process and really sped up our turn arounds in production.
