"Flexible Platform and Constantly Improving"
4/5
What do you like best about TeamMate?

The structure and the ability to modify viewpoints within engagements for purpose, such as control or risk overviews. The system functions well and with the update allowing you to drag documents between controls or risks is a huge improvement. It integrates well with third party apps such as MS Office and Adobe. The pricing of the program is commensurate to the functions that TM provides, though their sales process and the outlining of their price tiers/offerings could be more easily laid out without having to inquire with a sales representative. Support functions are easy to access and helpful. I appreciate the depth of detail provided by the help function embedded within TM. My department has yet to utilize any Artificial Intelligence functions within TM yet, but we will likely expand to include this in the future as it becomes more inherent in our processes. What do you dislike about TeamMate?

There are times where TM+ gets stuck or has an anomaly during normal use. Most often, we run into issues around permissions and access within engagements. I feel this has improved over the past year, but for a while we had auditors-in-charge who had full access over the engagement so that we could appropriately correct workpapers with minor updates and not have to require the initial preparer to mark prepared for an update that had no material impact to the workpaper or it's outcome. I'm currently struggling to find a proper solution so that all auditors on our team can see all engagements (open and closed) in the project section. I have a workaround, but am a little surprised there isnt a general setting within user roles and rights to control user project visibility (beyond just tying it directly to assignments) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive operation and continuous development."
4/5
What do you like best about TeamMate?

The most important functions are present and the product is continuously being developed. The operation is simple and intuitive. Through the TeamCloud, the administrative effort is low. Customer support responds relatively quickly. Our processes could be implemented relatively easily, allowing the software to be well integrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamMate?

Sometimes there are misunderstandings with customer support. Some innovations require a high implementation effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient for Audits, but Needs Better Guidance"
3.5/5
What do you like best about TeamMate?

I like the number of functions you can use with TeamMate+. I enjoy the manipulate text button and the join sheets function. It saves a lot of time by helping me avoid updating these one by one or using a function for each column. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamMate?

Sometimes you don't understand what functions do what. I've gone through the help and tips sections but when you open a specific function, there should be a little more guidance to what you're supposed to do. There should be examples of what to put in each field. I'm having some difficulties when opening an Excel sheet. There is an error that appears each time I open a sheet that I cannot permanently turn off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Audit Tracking with Strong Support"
5/5
What do you like best about TeamMate?

I find TeamMate+ very useful for audit tracking, as it helps ensure that all audit cases are tagged up to closure. Its support features stand out to me, making the whole process easy and efficient. The initial setup was very smooth with good support from vendor representatives, and it was easy to set up audits and new users onto the tool. Additionally, the tool is easy to use in a web support setting, and it effectively supports our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamMate?

I think it is the fact that it is a bespoke application, so it doesn't lend itself to customizations. And there are different audit needs for different companies, so that it can accommodate a larger number of use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward, Compliant Audits with TeamMate+ Audit"
4/5
What do you like best about TeamMate?

1. The workflow in TeamMate+ Audit makes the audit journey straightforward and compliant.

2. Integration with AD and user sync is smooth and user management is very efficient.

3. Performance of the new UX is responsive.

4. Support is prompt and effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamMate?

Pricing could be lower. Also, the AMC is high, and there should be an option for ticket-based charging. AI feature should be there in on-premise model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized and Efficient Audit Management"
4/5
What do you like best about TeamMate?

What I like best about TeamMate is that it keeps everything related to an audit in one place. It makes it easy to stay organized, track progress, and go back to prior audits when needed. Having all of the supporting documentation, findings, and notes readily available saves time and makes the audit process much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamMate?

One area I would like to see improved is the overall user experience. While TeamMate is effective at managing audit activities, certain tasks can require more clicks and navigation than necessary, making some processes feel less intuitive than they could be. "Responsive Platform with Strong Compliance Mapping, and Helpful Support"
4/5
What do you like best about TeamMate?

I like that it supports SSO, it supports adding multiple compliance frameworks/programs and we can tie programs, controls and risk records all together. The tasks functions are granular, as we can assign and keep track of remediation items. We can also set different task types, so we can set tasks specific to risk treatment plans, continual improvements, etc. The pricing was very reasonable and the platform performs well and is very responsive. Support is very reachable and helpful and they've even customized some items for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamMate?

The reporting features are a bit lacking, but we've been able to download data and prepare our own reporting. Although the downloaded data needs some tweaking and formatting as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Flexible Risk Framework Tool with Strong API Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about TeamMate?

Easy to use interface with standard formulas built in make the system reliable and predictable. Seems built to incorporate any type of risk and control framework, and by extension can develop over time as our system gets more sophisticated. Standalone ability and integration with our own tools via API is a major plus, and it was more affordable than many (but not all) other tools we looked at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamMate?

The UI itself can be a bit clunky. Minor bugs come up, and it can get slow when trying to change many records at once. These are mostly avoidable when using TeamMate as the backend and accessing via API, however. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Teammate Makes Audit Documentation and Follow-Ups Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about TeamMate?

The teammate is helpful since I am able to document audit work and follow up with auditees for action.

The system also allows new entrants to track previous years audit easily from the system for learning purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamMate?

The downside of using teammate is that when releasing the audit report to team central and you missed documenting something the system does not redirect you where you missed documenting you have to check manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Audit Management System"
4.5/5
What do you like best about TeamMate?

I like TeamMate+’s capability to monitor audit recommendations until implementation. It helps us confirm whether auditees have resolved the issues and put the recommendations or action plans in place, which is very beneficial. I also appreciate how TeamMate+ supports complete documentation of our audit engagements, which is vital because the documentation serves as proof of our work. That said, I found the initial setup quite difficult; however, over time we have adapted, especially since the interface is user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamMate?

In TeamMate+, I've noticed that there are no checks or control features to ensure that residual risk is not higher than inherent risk during risk assessment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
