What do you like best about Teamcenter?

Encompassing eco system from ECAD, to MCAD to PLM and now a days support for Model Based Systems Engineering as well

Ability to configure or customize as per your needs

Availability of man power with necessary skill set and experience in range of industries to implement

Large user base whi is already trained or working on this system

Excellent COTS integrations to most of the enterprise applications

System is easy to use (UI both RAC and AWC) when compared with other PLM systems

Siemens provided customer support is excellent with truck load of help topics online

Ability to integrate emails and SSO so that user can do all the work in Teamcenter itself

What do you dislike about Teamcenter?

Pricier per license when compared with other PLM systems

Team center has a very user friendly interface which makes it easier for professionals from fresher to expreinced level to use it in a short span of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Teamcenter?

The new modules and the AWC UI. Teamcenter has evolved a lot from its IMAN and TC Rich client days. AWC is the way to go and Siemens is putting a lot of focus on all the right places. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Teamcenter?

Very intuitive and great GUI, easy to learn and use. Fast Implementation and multi-user usage that saves time. Completes all the tedious documentation and CAD. Increase the productivity of the team and allow time to brainstorm ideas. Workflow management allows correct process flows. assisting you with the possibillity to truly collect all your information,regardless of diciplin in one place. But remeber it is a jurney that you will work onto improve and do not think it is a one stop install, it is a mindset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Teamcenter?

AWC client is more of a web base client, it is improving in terms of functionality and able to see new features gettting created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamcenter?

The AWC client is not in par with other PLM clients which are primarly web based like visual indicators, abilites on the client side validation. Way to go on the client features, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Teamcenter?

I like having all the data in one place, including previous revisions. Security can be setup where some can edit, some can see/downloads, and others can be restricted from seeing specific things. Like direct integration with NX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamcenter?

The RAC client can be clunky and overwhelming for users, but AWC isn't fully featured yet. I wish AWC tiles had a smaller tile size option. Learning Advantage videos can be very monotone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Teamcenter solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have seen a benefit with Change Orders, allowing parallel, versus serial, manufacturing approvals, hence speeding up the overall change process. As a global company, we are solving the "all regions can collaborate together" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
