2. Strong Workflow Engine with lots of out-of-the-box features. You can do almost anything with just configuration for your workflows!

3. Modern UI in Active Workspace. Rapidly improving with each release from Siemens.

4. Strong 3D Visualization features.

1. Cost of ownership/licenses for certain modules can be very pricey! Ex: Product Configurator, T4S.

Teamcenter seems great when you have a good Teamcenter supplier to help you out. I like all the future opportunities, it all starting to be more mature now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some modules have been difficult to take in use, such as the Part bom and mbom scope. It has been a little immature, but hopefully we will succeed after the upgrade to TC2312. It would be nice if Siemens made more videos on example of how to configure TC in regards to bigger systems when you have foe example thousend of parts that needs to be traversed from several assemblies and gathered on purchase bom per material and suppliers. How easy it was to learn. I started a job using Teamcenter with no experience and was able to pick everything up including our companies customizations in just a couple months.

I also like how valuable knowing it seems to be. I have no desire to switch jobs or places, but knowing that I will be able to use what I've learned and do what I'm doing elsewhere need be is the icing on top. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It gets more intuitive over time, but can always be better. Glad they're all in on Actove Workspqce because the RAC client is a mess by comparison and does not reflect the standards of today's digital world. It's easy to use and implement plm tool. It has lots of features that makes managing product life cycle easy. 1) Managing & Sharing data including CAD files, Documents, and other product-related information across the Teamcenter is easy as pie.

2)Handling Revesions: Revesion is the vital part of any PLM cycle and these revesions can be handled in a clear way in TC because of the auto-updates on revision.

3)Managing Workflows: Setting the workflows and managing access to the individuals can be easily implemented by the Administrator.

4) Analytics features: It has a decision support capabilities based on the analytics and reports from past, which provides quality insights for decision making.

1) Customer Support for TC implementation and Data Migration depends upon the Vendor through which you are buying the software.

2) TC has a cluster of modules which can sometimes make it confusing to understand and use to its fullest content.

I would say that I don't like the support. Sometimes when we have a bug, the communication with Support Center takes a lot of time. Also, for some builders like MRL tool builder requires a NX installation in the server which is not the best way to do it. You should enable more paths for us to use dispatcher for this type of cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Teamcenter is the best software that I have used in Bajaj Auto's R&D. We use this PLM solution for managing production data and the entire production lifecycle of our products. Its user-friendly interface and strong data management capabilities are particularly appealing.
