What do you like best about Teamcenter?

Huge customisation possibility, well working with external CAD tools like Catia V5, nice out of the box solutions like the mass update. The system is working well even with a huge amount of data and also with large CAD models Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamcenter?

Some solutions are not user-friendly - ex. the 'named references' to download the file. There are a lot of cases with customisations that need to be fixed with the data model update - it takes too much time.

The documentation centre from Siemens is huge, but in a lot of cases we miss knowledge about the possible solutions.

The licensing approach is not bad but GTAC is not working - the maintenance in compare to the help is way to expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Teamcenter solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Teamcenter?

Comprehensive module for all CAD-related data issues. Smooth Integration between NX software and SAP for production gives best experience. All modules such as structure manager, Workflow for approval and Item creation in the main landing page is intuitive. Electrical Bill of Materials and Structure manager modules can be directly accessed from the Home page. Shorter product lifecycle is possible in case of complex products. What do you dislike about Teamcenter?

Enhancements around API based connectivity and 2 FA based login can be enabled for smoother access. Although AWS and Lite web app is launched, it doesn't cover all the essential features in the workspace and slows down while dealing with large files. Recommendations to others considering Teamcenter:

Application can be made lightweight in terms of AWS workspace, while they were made mobile compatible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Teamcenter solving and how is that benefiting you?

Easy for full product management lifecycle for software.parts information along with data model and classification is one of the best features. I worked primarily on structure manager and NX integration. The UI was intuitive and software manual was easy to understand. we could integrate all supplier information in the BoM , create new materials, assemble the parts for simulation for production. What do you like best about Teamcenter?

I like that it sets up a relatively simple repository of information that we can store our data and access legacy information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm not a fan of the Rich-client version of Teamcenter as it constantly is facing cache issues and other issues that habe to do with the local machine storage/memory information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
