**What do you like best about Teamcenter?**

Teamcenter because its easy to use, works completely online, and can be adjusted to fit our needs. It shows everything clearly on dashboard, helps us automate tasks, lets everyone work together in real time, and connects smoothly with autodesk and other tools.

**What do you dislike about Teamcenter?**

Teamcenter is a powerful tool, but i feel it could be easier to use. Setting it up customizing the workflows can get confusing. Their customer support usually replies fast when i have confusing question. Some tasks take too many steps and could be made simpler, but i still us the platform fairly often. It has many features, but not all useful or easy to understand for every situation. So it takes more time to learn than expected.

**What problems is Teamcenter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teamcenter helps us automate taks, keep all product information in one place, and manage changes better across the team. It connects smoothly with autodesk tools, so there’s no confusion about file versions and everyone can work together easily from desgin to production. **Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Teamcenter?**

I like Teamcenter's flexibility and its potential to tackle virtually any problem we face, even though it requires managing customizations afterwards. The connectivity to other software through APIs is extremely relevant for me, especially as we need connection to software that shares documents with vendors and with ERP systems for transactional processes.

**What do you dislike about Teamcenter?**

Teamcenter still not up to speed with current new applications. It still looks and feels too old school. You have to know variable names and access them precisely for setup, which isn’t easy. Configuring could be more about button clicking rather than code typing.

**What problems is Teamcenter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Teamcenter helps with product data management and controlling downstream processes. It's flexible for solving problems, and connectivity through APIs is crucial for our software interactions with vendors and ERP systems.

  ### 13. Teamcenter very helpful our current workflow

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Teamcenter?**

Teamcenter makes it easy to keep all your part deatils in one place. You don’t need to manage them separately in CAD or ERP tools. Everything stays organized in a single spot. Because of its simple interface, can fast update information and work together without confusion.

**What do you dislike about Teamcenter?**

With the tools we already use, like onshape and rootstock, adding teamcenter feels like extra work we don’t really need. Since it doesn’t connect smoothly with our main system, managing data in multiple places becomes a problem. The cloud update features is great because we can lock a CAD file while someone is editing it, and unlock when they're done. This really helps our team keep all our files clean and easy to find whenever we need them.

**What do you dislike about Teamcenter?**

One thing I don't like about Teamcenter is that its really easy for someone to confusion things up by mistake. Once, a student accidentally uploaded their whole desktop into teamcenter, and we couldn't undo It. We had to create a new setup and move everything back again.

**What problems is Teamcenter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Teamcenter to handle all our project data in one place. We have many subteams, and everyone needs easy access to the CAD files and 3D models so they can edit them whenever needed. ### 31. Why Our Team Relies on Teamcenter for Project Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Teamcenter?**

I really appreciate using Teamcenter because it centralizes everything related to product development in one place. In large engineering environments, information can easily become scattered across different systems, emails, and local folders. Teamcenter solves this problem by acting as a single platform where all product data is organized, managed, and controlled.

**What do you dislike about Teamcenter?**

While Siemens Teamcenter is a powerful PLM system, there are several aspects that make it frustrating to use. First, the software often feels slow and clunky, especially when navigating large product datasets. Searching for files or opening complex assemblies can take a long time, which disrupts workflow and reduces efficiency.

**What problems is Teamcenter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In large architectural and planning projects, keeping track of designs, site plans, and documents can be chaotic. Teamcenter solves this by centralizing all project data, so architects, planners, and engineers always work from the latest versions.

Its version and change control ensures we can track who made changes and why, preventing mistakes and rework. Teamcenter also enables collaboration across disciplines and locations, letting our team coordinate smoothly in real time.

  ### 33. A trusted Tool for Cross-Functional Coordination.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aashutosh T. | CSE - II, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Teamcenter?**

What I like is that Teamcenter brings order to what would otherwise be a very messy process. Version control and change management work well in practice, especially when multiple teams are involved. Having a single place for product data reduces back-and-forth and confusion. It’s also flexible enough to adapt to how we work, rather than forcing major process changes.

**What do you dislike about Teamcenter?**

The biggest area for improvement would be the user interface, which can feel dated and not very intuitive for new users. There’s a noticeable learning curve, especially for non-technical team members, and onboarding can take time. Performance can also be inconsistent at times, particularly when working with large datasets or running complex searches.

**What problems is Teamcenter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us manage and collaborate complex engineering documentation across multiple teams and projects. Before adopting it, we struggled with the version control, scattered files, and miscommunication between design, and manufacturing teams.

Now, with everything centralized, we can track revisions, enforce approval workflows, and maintain a single source of truth for all critical documents.

This has reduced errors and time consumption, and enhanced traceability.

**Official Response from Jen Groisman:**
