"Tealium Customer Data Hub: Real-Time Unified Profiles with Flexible, Scalable Tag Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Tealium?

What I like most about Tealium Customer Data Hub is how it unifies customer data from multiple sources into a single, centralized, real-time profile. It makes it much easier to bring together data from websites, mobile apps, CRM systems, and other platforms without requiring heavy development work.

I also appreciate how flexible and scalable the platform is. Its tag management and event-tracking capabilities help teams launch, update, and manage integrations quickly, saving time and reducing reliance on developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tealium?

Tealium Customer Data Hub can feel complex and comes with a steep learning curve, particularly during the initial setup. Getting it configured often requires solid technical expertise and dedicated resources, which can be difficult for smaller teams to provide. I also found that some of the more advanced features aren’t very intuitive unless you’ve had proper training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Low-Code Ease, But Needs Better Version Control"
4/5
What do you like best about Tealium?

I like Tealium Customer Data Hub for its low-code environment, which reduces overhead by not requiring everything to be coded in JavaScript, and the ease with which I can publish and deploy changes. It's nice that it operates separately from the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tealium?

I find the version control and GitHub integration lacking, especially since we have no public repo available. It's also difficult to navigate the version history in TIQ. Additionally, the migration was tough at first because we didn't understand the low-code environment and vendor templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer with Awesome AI Features, Tedious Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about Tealium?

I like that Tealium Customer Data Hub is like a really good kindergartner and your best high school friend. It plays well with others and is easy to hang out with. It does a good job of aggregating data and taking the right action. The new AI features are awesome, and the ability to add context in real time is a game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tealium?

I find it tedious to set up initially. Logging when interfacing with third-party vendors could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PowerfulGreat for Real-Time Personalization and Cross-Channel Data Management, Data Centralization"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tealium?

The things users like best tend to be about data centralization, real-time activation, and integration flexibility real time, Rich integration ecosystem: Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tealium?

One of the biggest themes is that the learning curve is steep. Tealium’s depth and flexibility mean it’s powerful — but that also means new users, especially non-technical marketers, can feel overwhelmed at first. Building complex segments, writing enrichment rules, or understanding all the configuration options often requires guidance, training, or trial-and-error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Data Centralization, Intuitive Connections"
4/5
What do you like best about Tealium?

I actually like that Tealium Customer Data Hub is robust. There are a lot of connectors, making it very friendly with other providers and vendors we've used in our company. We're able to connect pretty easily, and I find it intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tealium?

I think the overall ease of use for a novice user, especially with change management among our paid media folks, can be a little hard to understand. It could be a little more user-friendly on the front end. The initial setup was a challenge, taking about a three-month process from contract sign to set up. "Packed with Capabilities and Getting More User-Friendly with Upcoming AI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tealium?

I believe it provides a lot of capabilities and is becoming more user friendly with all of the AI innovations that are upcoming. I believe if you are using this for web, you will be very happy with the product. It is pretty user friendly, but with the use of AI coming, it will only get better from here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tealium?

Sometimes I think that there are areas where it is not the most helpful or not as innovative. For instance when it comes to mobile apps. Maybe it will be more beneficial with the AI feature that are coming. But there are better platforms/more cost effective platforms that are better. Even building on in house could be more useful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-Rich and Flexible, but Expensive"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Tealium?

Very flexible with what can be done in the system. There are a ton of features which means many use cases have been thought through. There are also lots of integrations, so there is likely native support for many services. Customer Support is great - they are responsive and help me solve issues when I get stuck Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tealium?

Expensive - the cost of Tealium is prohibitive for smaller companies who may need some of the features for legal reasons; learning curve is steep and requires a lot of technical knowledge for coding. Need to use the service in order to get access to training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a lot of potential on how you can use your data within tealium and the future releases discussed in the conference are very exciting. Lots of great ideas proposed that have a huge potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tealium?

There is a deep technical curve when you are initially trying to understand the platform but once you get through it, its smooth sailing. I would say having the right support in the initial stages would be a great help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Real-Time Data Management with Complexity Challenges"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tealium?

I like how easy it is to centralize customer data in real time with Tealium Customer Data Hub, making personalization and reporting much faster and more reliable. Real-time data centralization lets me act on customer behavior immediately and deliver more relevant experiences without delays. I appreciate the powerful real-time data management and activation. The setup, involving connecting integrations and defining data layers, was kind of easy thanks to the help from Tealium support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tealium?

Some workflows feel overly complex. Learning curve can be steep so improving onboarding and simplification of interface navigation would be nice. Setting up audience rules and integrations can take many steps, so maybe more clearer templates? And even guides setup and more intuitive UI flows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
