The UI on the employee side is straightforward. As a scheduler, it's intuitive and makes sense. Every action, whether selecting a time frame, moving to a new timeframe, opening an existing shift, updating a shift, or making a new shift, requires a substantial load time that adds up over the course of making one month's schedule. It's incredibly frustrating. It would be helpful if I could select a date and timeframe all at once instead of first selecting a time frame (1-4 weeks), waiting for it to load, then clicking through to the dates I want, which also requires multiple loading screens. **What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Humanity is making schedule creation easy and straightforward. So AZ providers are scheduling for AZ time but the administrators are viewing it on Eastern Time which is changing with Daylight Savings and this creates confusion. Every month I get a call 1 hr ahead of my scheduling time wondering why I am not on. (eye roll) - why would I want to be on an hour ahead when it is not time yet locally for the zone I live in to care for the patients who are in my zone (Patients and doctor in AZ are all in AZ time - no confusion for us) **What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can schedule shifts ahead and view available shifts - so it gives the provider independence to schedule. ### 18. If you were allowed to add a minimum number of employees to any given day it would help you not accidentally approve too many off requests on the same day. Additionally, the auto schedule feature would be benefitted by adding a toggle that allows you to set a minimum or maximum shifts per week to a given position. Some work forces have multiple positions and people that can work all the positions- this would help make that a fair spread. **Recommendations to others considering Humanity Schedule by TCP:** Humanity take a lot of the extraneous effort out of schedule writing. We needed a solution for our employees to be able to clock in and clock out digitally with a solution that allowed us to capture a picture of them as they did. Humanity was the solution that gave that to us, along with many other features we were wanting. Over the years we have developed many custom integrations using their simple API that has allowed us to easily manage our employees, and their timesheets, import hours for payroll into our payroll system with one click, and even use their employee image throughout our internal apps. Humanity has continued to improve its offerings over the years, adding in more features that we have adopted such as geofencing where employees can clock in and improved scheduling features. Overall, Humanity has been a stable system that has provided us with everything we need (or allows the capability for us to leverage to create what we need). Over the years we have had several issues with temporary outages, and odd behaviors that happened using the system. Their support has been top-notch to work through these issues, provide us with workarounds or fixes for problems before they get officially fixed and are very quick to respond. **What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?** The only thing I have found that I dislike about Humanity is their most current price increases. I do understand the need to raise prices over time, but the sting of having a 500% price increase since we started with them is offputting. **Recommendations to others considering Humanity Schedule by TCP:** If you need a solution for scheduling, time tracking, reporting, and easy employee management Humanity may work very well for you. **What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been able to solve our need to ensure employees are clocking in as themselves by verifying an image as they clock in and clock out. If you need a day off, simply request it online. You don't have to go ask your boss. Ditto for if you want to swap shifts. You don't have to contact fellow employees one-by-one, you just put out a notice and all of them get an opportunity to consider it. **What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?** I wasn't able to see why I was given an odd day off in the middle of the week. I figured some other worker needed the hours. Turns out, the shift had accidentally been given to an employee who has since quit, so in the end, no one showed up to work that day. I would gladly have filled in that spot. **What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can't log on to the lap version of Humanity at all. It doesn't work. I called tech support, but the instructions they gave me didn't work. This is OK, I learned how to use it on my phone, which is very simple and easy. But it would be nice to have the option. ### 43. It's very visual and has a lot of layers and choices. The notification categories are very convenient. **What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?** There are a bunch of redundancies, like having to enter a note to change a clock-in time and then having to create a second note that explains why you wrote the first note. It's also extremely difficult to find out the $ amount earned for x number of shifts. It shows up in some views, and not in others. Also, when I work a block of consecutive shifts I shouldn't be getting notifications reminding me to clock in or warning me that I haven't clocked out. Availablity should be able to be clicked and dragged to expand or move hours, not have to be typed in every time. You should also be able to drop consecutive shifts all at once instead of having to drop one hour at a time. **What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to set my own schedule is key, and seeing real-time changes. I like being able to get notifications and reminders. It is easy to pick up shifts which is nice. It is helpful to have a lot of choices in the schedule view options. ### 44. We have a relatively complicated process for scheduling staff, the built-in scheduler and surrounding tools streamline that. Also allowing staff to easily see their schedules and facilitate their own shift swapping. **What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?** My dislikes come from a data perspective. The built-in reports provide an acceptable overview, but are primarily setup to be viewed visually. Works well when managers have to check one or two things, but difficult for data analysts to run any in-depth analysis on. Even the downloaded .csv reports are not intuitively set up. Robust list of APIs, but we quickly run into the API limit which slows some data updates. **Recommendations to others considering Humanity Schedule by TCP:** Really is a great tool to use for scheduling. It has a lot of features not just picking up schedules and dropping them but you also have the convenience of sending messages to your team with questions on trading a shift or checking in to see if anyone wants to take your hours. You can add a profile picture if you wish and also set your time zone for your job so that you are never late. it allows you also to clock in if your organization tells you to and its super easy to navigate. To be humanity is very user friendly you wont get lost on how to use it. A few tweaks, and you're all set to go. I also like being able to copy and drag a repeating daily schedule to the sequential days. **What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?** It's easy to lose track of the week you're working on and accidentally make changes to a prior week's schedule. In addition, we use the time off request feature frequently. I love the flexibility and attentiveness they offer, not only am I able to keep track of our employees hours but their licensing, training, memos and much more. I have the freedom to create as I go. **What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?** I love alot of their features, but their customer service could be a tad bit better. I believe it changed to a call centern now, which isnt to bad. However it does take them a little longer to trouble shoot if I have any issues. **Recommendations to others considering Humanity Schedule by TCP:** It is definitely worth a shot! The system is very easy to use. I have a lot of employees who have a hard time using technology and I am able to send them quick screenshots or verbally tell them how to use them with ease.
