I have used tango for creating several processes.  It captures every click, making it very simple to use.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

There is an option to recreate the steps in a live setting on the creators end, but I can't share that option with others.

Support-wise, I would have preferred to speak to an actual person in real-time rather than the chatbot.

For the subscription fee we paid, I expect the service more responsive than waiting for a few hours.

The platform is a step up from the traditional snipping tool.  It saves me a lot of time in creating the documentation and I can share it with ease without getting through the complex access restrictions.

How easy it is to use especially if you need to edit the screenshots. It is very easy to follow when others look at it. The features it has when creating the instructions, are very easy to manipulate. It is very easy to integrate into your daily use.

I dislike the dificulty in finding the share button

Sharing instructions with all of the staff members thoguh an email that are step by step and not having to gather everyone in the same room to show them how to do something.

I love the images it creates and that you can edit the step to be more descriptive or vauge if needed. Super easy to use!

When I share it people complain it is too long to print but that is mostly the older crowd I work with.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Easy to use, ability to export to pdf is extremely helpful as is the guide me feature which will walk you through the process outlined in a step by step pattern. In most cases it will be in the same workflow as the original author. Analytics are a nice touch as well.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

It is very cumbersome to edit mistakes while you are recording steps in a workflow as an author. You have to completely delete the step and do it over again in most cases.

It has sped up our how-to guide and process doc making time by a significant margin. It can be helpful for some people to be able to read and visualize the steps in a sequence rather than seeing them in a video or in a simple list. We have also implemented this for a few of our system trainings for new hires.

I can now create tutorials in just 10-20 minutes, which used to take hours before. The best part is that I can create the tutorial while performing the task, which saves me time. The tool is simple to use, easy to share, and user-friendly. I can see myself using this tool frequently at my company.

Mobile app procedures cannot be captured unless they are on a desktop or browser.

You don't have to do anything different to how you normally would use the program. Easy to implement into a QMS.

Your every click is tracked and it doesn't give a zoomed out view of the screen.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango has reimagined the way for me in how I approach the creation of SOPs. It is intuitive and I didn't need to watch a tutorial to figure out how to use it.In one click of the button it's starts capturing and documenting all the actions on the screen. Later those can be reviewed, edited or deleted.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The only drawback that I potentially foresee is the software cost. But considering the ROI translated into time, it's an investment worth considering and would pay for itself as soon as you get your first 5 workflows out.

Document long processes that later can be shared with new joiners, who are not necessarily familiar with the internal tech stack that we use. Reducing time to onboard new hires.

Tango is a software application that provides a user-friendly platform for creating step-by-step instruction guides. Sometimes the screen capture can be a little bit buggy. It also isn't particularly intuitive from a user controls perspective which would be good to see improvements in the future.

Tango allows us to create user manuals for new employees as well as existing employees. It has been extremely helpful when onboarding new platforms and tools as we can create a visual instruction sheet quickly and easily.

Nothing so far - it's a great tool and does what it says on the tin.

We've been rolling out a lot of tools/software internally and had been producing step by step guides quite manually, screenshotting and dropping descriptions into documents. I stumbled upon Tango by happen stance and signed up to an annual subscription within 30 minutes of starting their trial.

It's simple but its fantastic and I'm excited to see where it goes from here.

The possibility it could help but it didn't work well enough to be useful.

Creating help especially for desktop was basic and involved a lot of manual work of adding notes about all the steps.
Only works for full desktop view.
The Tango branding is over the top and cannot be removed.
These things made the app useless to me. I let Tango know that I cancelled after 1 day but they weren't willing to refund.
This product is not worth the cost.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love that I can go through my applications easily and have Tango create an automatic step-by-step guide for me that I can send to clients or users. This is helpful when you are sending a step-by-step guide to users trying to log in and use an application or demoing a service to a potential client. Also, being able to use an image editor after you created the step-by-step guide makes it handy to blur out sensitive information that might have been exposed when you were going through your application.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Currently, I wish it was supported on more than just Chrome. Most of the applications I use are on the web so chrome works but there are a couple of applications that can't take advantage of Tango.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am spending way less time in meetings or training with clients and users. Beforehand, I would have to get into hour-long meetings with clients to show them/demo the product when a simple step-by-step guide would've been just fine. Loom was the alternative to this but Tango has saved me even more time and provides a reference that my clients appreciate.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Dead simple to record, review, and share processes without too much hassle. I've wasted so many hours restarting Looms where I make a mistake, or watching my recording to catch errors -- I use Tango to record, review, edit, and share process steps with coworkers and customers and it's been an amazing productivity boost.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

A few months ago, I asked for support for iFrames (I had trouble recording processes in the AWS console), but the team solved that within a few days and I can't think of anything else to dislike right now!

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anyone who has worked on codifying/documenting AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure configurations knows the pain of documenting menu and submenu navigation hell. I've been using Tango to step through these configurations once on my own, and letting Tango generate the process steps automatically as soon as I'm done so I can share with teammates and customers. If I had to guess, Tango saves me 2-3 hours of mindnumbing screenshotting/anonymizing/annotating per piece of documentation I create (at least once a week).

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I love how clean the website and the screenshots look. I appreciate how simple the app is to use. This helps us streamline and give a higher quality product to the customer. I love how attentive their support team is.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

Not being able to add additional client branding or draft control pages. I wouldn't mind being able to give feedback on sections of the screen capture to the person who took them, requesting edits, or asking for clarifications on the wording. Or tagging a section to come back to, to discuss what I'm reviewing. I wouldn't mind seeing some type of multi-version or undo option to ensure if something was changed by accident it can be recovered. I wouldn't mind having more branding options in general like font style, size, and color.

**Recommendations to others considering Tango:**

Be patient when the screen capture is pulling everything together.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's so quick and easy to use. It's clean and aesthetically pleasing. We are a training team at a consulting firm. We map out processes for companies that have recently upgraded their ERP system. We create E-learning videos, instructor-led, instructional guides, and quick reference guides. We also manage LMS systems for our clients. This helps us efficiently prepare a quality product that we are proud to present.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The ease of use and simplicity is perfectly executed, making this one of the best screenshot tools for Windows. (I'm a Windows user of 30 years). The ability to edit the instructions and send the link to another user makes this a fantastically quick and easy screenshot and walk-through tool. I'd typically use a simple screencast video but this approach allows the user to slowly walk through each screen and "get it".

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I have not come across anything yet that I dislike. The simplicity wins.

**Recommendations to others considering Tango:**

If you need to make walk-throughs and take screenshots quickly this is an easy choice. I've used video for 15 years to explain things, but this provides a different user experience for the person who's learning. Also, it forces the user to READ the instructions and walk through the steps slowly as opposed to watching a video.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tango allows me to quickly and easily make a screenshot walk-through presentation in less than 2 minutes and send the team the HOW TO immediately. 

This is extremely helpful in digital marketing where there are tiny tasks that need doing and not everyone knows how to execute each task. This tool allows me to show them so they can execute and move on. They can refer to it later as needed if they need a refresh. This saves me HOURS of having to explain the same thing again and again. 

Now, I say it ONE TIME and SHOW THEM how to do it and it's their responsibility to read it and execute. If I get asked again, I tell them, "It takes two to Tango"...they laugh and go find the link I sent them.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

The best part is the awesome convenience that it offers. The automatic capturing of the steps by the tango browser extension is an amazing feature. I just need to do the steps normally in the browser and it is captured automatically.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

There is not much that I can dislike about Tango but it allows me to create 25 tutorials in the free plan. If there were more tutorials available in the free plan that would be great.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a SaaS platform founder, I need to create and share tutorials related to different functionalities of the platform. Tango is helping me to create the tutorials with super ease.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

I like how easy it is to create and share a Tango. It is very straightforward. I use it to help onboard my new hires on my team at work and to show coworkers how to learn a specific onboarding workflow or process ASYNC. It has been really helpful to use alongside SmartRecruiters when interviewing new candidates

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I haven't found anything that I dislike with the product yet. I need to mess around more with the product to see if there are any areas I could identify for improvement.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am trying to solve the learning and onboarding of new systems while not being in the same location as many of my coworkers. I like the idea of being able to create a workflow, attach it to a document, and then move on to the next learn document.

**What do you like best about Tango?**

What a time saver! Working in start-up in a very cross functional role, I often times end up creating different screen recording and google docs to share with my team about new processes. With Tango, I have been able to easily generate documents with screenshots of different processes to share with my team as well as build out various playbooks for new hires. This has cut my time in half since I don't need to capture different screenshots on my own and spend time typing up a document.
Highly impressed so far!

**What do you like best about Tango?**

Tango is THE app that you need if you are working with humans, creating walk through , how-to, KB's etc , it feels like cheating with looking to get screengrabs for walkthroughs, done are the days of manually and awkwardly screenshotting steps one by one via mac and then needing to order them and remember which photo is the first or 70th step.. Tango does this all for you and easy as pie.. Very underrated tool.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

I do not dislike anything about this, the pricing is fair ( heck the free tier works well also. I've got nothing back to say.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What it solves is i'm able to create documentation and step by step guides very quickly without much thought, tango does all the work and i just click...

Not only is the workflow easy to capture, but the editing and export process also makes it a breeze to communicate effectively.

**What do you dislike about Tango?**

The desktop workflow capture sometimes picks up single clicks as double clicks... but that isn't really a problem.

**What problems is Tango solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly using Tango to familiarize new employees with our server system. Works like a charm.
