Tango Pros and Cons

Tango is cost effective (NO COST!), versatile (a lot of options and ability to use one amount on several gift cards), safe (no need to go to the store and purchase gift cards and potentially lose them) and NEVER expires.

The customer service is efficient!

Professionally: I have worked with Kasia Weldon to get our company set up. It was ready really quickly, and there was NO COST TO USE THE PROGRAM! NO more going to all the stores, counting cards, and time wasted!

Personally:I have called for a question about one of my gift cards from 2018 and it was still able to be used six years later!

The only thing that I would change would be perhaps for our users who are not as tech savvy:

When they receive the gift card link via email, remind them that they have options to redeem the gift.

Provide explicit instructions on usage

Tango is very easy to use and both my employees and clients like it. They love the idea that they are able to choose where to claim the gifts I send and they are not obliged to use the gift card from a certain place or provider. It also gave me the peace of mind knowing I can get the gifts delivered on the spot and that I will save the trip going to stores or purchasing online from multiple places.

The 3% fee we pay when using creidt cards is a little drawback. However, we are now sending money via wire transfers (still not that much convinient, because we are lovated in Canada and the wires are considered international in our case). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I often give outgift cards as incentives for people to fill our surveys for our organization. Because I send so many gift cards, I often run into security issues with other platforms. Tango makes it super easy to bulk buy gift cards by allowing me to create templates to apply to a mass order which is also super helpful!

Tango is a really easy and convenient way to send rewards, like incentivising participants in a study. It is convenient because I can send rewards to multiple people at once and participants can choose from a wide variety of gift cards, maximizing the attractiveness of the rewards. Inserting receivers emails and names manually can take a while, it'd be nice to be able to upload an excel worksheet, for example, and the program would automatically create a list with receivers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
