Not much, only that to those very new to the tool, the training on the product navigation may be required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the vast number of integrations available out-of-the-box and ease of connecting them together. It's like playing with Legos! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Theoretically, not having to worry about managing an instance of TAC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It hasn't worked for us. We spent three months actively trying to get it to work in an attempt to transition from on-prem to cloud and without success.
Dealing with support was fruitless. They recommended we work with their professional services, which we did for a day, where it became evident it was a support issue.
After a couple weeks they finally realized (or admitted) that it was bug we found where the context wasn't being passed along.
However there are other issues still unresolved.
Oh yeah! TAC is smart enough to not try running a task if it's already running. TMC on the other hand is dumb? "Oh, that job is already running? Let me try running it again so it just stacks up!" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a branch of Eclipse and thus it benefits of all the advantages of the java world. The fact that all my teammates can develop locally (with project versioning) and deploy the ETL flow as independent component make teamwork so easy! And debugging in the code view helps to find the source of issues very fast, in fact, faster than any other ETL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its support service is very general and does not dig in our use cases. And you need a technical team that has at least some notion of java to understand the data types and functions and overall the philosophy of Talend Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Talend Cloud Data Integration for the past 4 years and it has been just outstanding. We use AWS and Salesforce and the data needed to be collated and converted into a unified format. That is when Talend Cloud Data Integration comes into picture. It can pull data from many cloud based applications and then format the data and keep it ready for Data Modelling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The license cost is a bit on this higher side. Other than that the Product is phenomenal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The flexibility and and the amount of components- there's almost no functionality that's not supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes there is functionality that isn't supported- such as PATCH on trest components. It can also be slow and tends to crash from time to time.
The documentation is also lacking Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was drawn in by the appeal of lower management costs, and always having up-to-date versions of their software. We started using Talend on-prem several years ago, and the upgrade paths seemed onerous. The promises of a maintained environment were appealing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We were never able to get our jobs running in a stable cloud environment. We attempted using multiple versions of the remote engines, and all of them had new and exciting bugs to troubleshoot. Months of back-and-forth with support, followed by escalations with our Customer Success reps left us feeling very uncomfortable. As it stands, we have not yet made it into production on the cloud platform after 4 months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Talend Cloud Data Integration extensively in our organization. We extract Data from Amazon Web Service and Salesforce and the volume of data is huge that it cannot be done manually. Talend Cloud Data Integration is great since it comes with connectors which recognizes the format of data that comes from the two cloud apps and processes it into a consolidate report.
