What do you like best about Synthace?

How easy it is to adapt the synthace workflow for different types of liquid handler robotics. Also how easy it is to integrate DOE and complex experimental designs with liquid handlers, I would not be able to code that myself without Synthace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Synthace?

You need to invest a decent amount of time to learn the ins and outs of the platform to use it effectively. Similar to learning any liquid handler code/programming software, except this one can be used for multiple types of liquid handlers and is a lot more intuitive. What do you like best about Synthace?

There are many advantages to Synthace, but the most helpful is the in silico simulation tool. This ensures all workflows are successful and will perform as desired. This circumvents the need for conducting water runs, and ultimatley reduces the length of time required for running experiments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Synthace?

Not all tasks are integrated within the Synthace platform, for example membrane plate tasks. This is available on the Tecan Fluent, but not on the Tecan Freedom Evo, and therefore Evoware is still required for scripting specific workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Synthace solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problem Synthace is solving is the complexity of programming and scripting biological protocols. The intuitive platform enables easy protocol translation, while the simulation tool ensures the workflow runs as desired. Furthermore, the data visulation tool streamlines data aggregation and handling, from which further downstream protocols can be built. This allows for more time to be allocated to the experiments and protocols, as opposed to translating these to the high throughput platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Synthace?

The user interface is straightforward to understand and executes exactly what you require. Quite similar to modern smartphone applications in some nature, meaning it felt naturally familiar to use, and the colour scheme is very accessible and is a lovely aesthetic. From my experience as a complete novice, I could run the robot using synthase within a couple of days, and I think this is mainly due to this user interface. What do you dislike about Synthace?

Obviously expected in the modern world but heavily reliant on internet capabilities and upload and these execution times can be affected by poor internet; if there was any way to streamline this process (I'm aware it's more of a user-based issue), then it would be perfect. We still miss some peripheral equipment

We want to purify and desalt using the T-chrom in one experiment.

We want to implement DOE in the bioprocessing module.

We want to calculate parameters like IVC in the bioprocessing module and use the calculated values in new plots.

What problems is Synthace solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fast and efficient analytics.

Filter out and analyze only the necessary parameters

Setup DOE and experiments on the Tecan without complex scripting

Prevent mistakes in experiments by running the simulation of the experiment

This made our processes more flexible and prevented the need for a complicated integration with our LIMs system
