**What do you like best about Syndigo?**

Excellent product catalog, with a wide range of brands. The Syndigo Platform portal is easy to browse/use and make modifications to product data. The Support team over at Syndigo is also amazing and very responsive to any requests for assistance.

**What do you dislike about Syndigo?**

Sometimes our company has run into recurring problems with product data that needs to be manually corrected. It's not a big issue to deal with, but can be frustrating.

**What problems is Syndigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syndigo provides our clients with high quality product images and in-depth product data that can be utilized on our e-commerce platforms. This readily available data helps our clients to minimize the amount of external media and product data that they need to import from their end.

**What do you like best about Syndigo?**

Syndigo has been a true partner for us at NOW.  Whenever we have had issues or a list of wants/needs we feel are words are heard and Syndigo has been able to meet our highest priority needs everytime over our 3 year partnership.  They are always improving in areas we didn't even know could become more efficient and these consistent updates are why I would still rate them a 10.

**What do you dislike about Syndigo?**

Digital Catalogs still seem like a throw away tool, they have seen very little updates in the time we have been using the program.  Otherwise I have been very impressed with Syndigo from the application itself, to the great communication from all the teams I work with.  They make it very easy for a small ecom team to still make a large impact for the company as a whole.

**What problems is Syndigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syndigo is giving us an all in one solution to both content management and analytics, allowing for a seamless connection between our content and the data tied to it via multiple retailers.  On the content side, Syndigo is helping distribute our product content and images than more retailers than ever through direct channels while allowing us to create custom recipients for our smaller stores.  The recipient pages not only send data to our partners but also act as a content verification program to ensure we are sending the correct data for each of our 2,500+ SKUs.  On the analytical side we are receiving actionable data that our team can use to craft marketing content that has a better chance at success.

**What do you like best about Syndigo?**

What I love most about Syndigo is the incredible support and sense of urgency they bring to making sure we’re getting the absolute most out of the platform. When I first started, it honestly felt like learning a whole new language since this was outside my usual responsibilities and something I had never done before. Thankfully, our amazing Account Manager, Lenell, was there every step of the way. He took the time to walk me through each question—no matter how many I had—and never once lost patience. Between Lenell and the entire support team, I’ve always felt set up for success and truly cared for.

**What do you dislike about Syndigo?**

There really isn;t anything that I would say I dislike. I understand how the platform works, and even when it takes some time to syndicate new attributes, I understand that these things can take time.

**What problems is Syndigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syndigo is helping solve the challenge of navigating a complex platform that was completely new to me and outside my normal responsibilities. What could have been overwhelming quickly became manageable because of their hands-on guidance and responsive support team. With their help, I’ve been able to confidently use the platform to its fullest potential, saving time, reducing frustration, and ensuring I’m getting the most value out of it.

Compared to the competition Syndigo is not as easy to navigate or as customizable. It is laborious to use at scale.

I still echo what I said previously- the customer support absolutely rocks and has such rapid response times. Thanks so much for all you guys do!

Account managers change frequently and sometimes balls get dropped in the midst of it. Hoping to have a little more consistency with the next one.

Knowing specific retailers can pull from our product listings helps ensure all renders and copy stays up to date. Auditing Syndigo covers an array of retailers instead of auditing each one individually.

Compared to my former syndication tool, Syndigo can be a little more difficult to learn and navigate. It would also be helpful to have more sorting capabilities in the assets.

**What do you like best about Syndigo?**

Using Syndigo helps make building content for new products very easy. I enjoy using the preview feature before the products go live. Being able to add multiple products to one enhanced content build saves a lot of time instead of having to rebuild for each colorway/size.

I find using the reporting center is harder to use. I also have a hard time choosing the precise location of the hot spots because you can't zoom in and you end up having to reload the preview many times until it's "close enough".

I really enjoy that Syndigo offers a one-stop-shop for storing retail assets. They make it easy to make mass changes in a short amount of time. Also, their customer service is so great and they're very responsive any time we reach out to support.

While it's great to have everything housed in one place, it isn't always the easiest to make updates, see which updates have been made, understand which assets go where, etc.

So as a Data Provider, and probably the only one who competes with them on Item Data, what I like most is their ability to not only maintain Data (we push each other), but to capture Content, and explore other opportunities.

As a large Company, Communication CAN suffer, if you are a new Business. But then, that's true of ALL large Companies.

Maintaining Data is incredibly difficult, especially when you are maintaining Nutrition, Ingredients, Allergens, Warnings, and more. And it's compounded when you have hundreds of thousands of Records. Thus, the solutions that Syndigo provides are invaluable.

I am constantly needing assistance with making sure we have the correct imagery/descriptions online. Due to some internal issues, I have to jump through some hoops to make this happen. I truly appreciate how helpful the service team is and how patient they are. :)

At this time, I don't have anything negative to say about Syndigo. I am new to the platform so right now, I'm just trying to get our product images accurately represented online.

**What problems is Syndigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have multiple package types that carry the same UPC. This causes major issues online - i.e. an Albertsons division may grab the right UPC but it's the wrong image because the package type isn't correct. It's a constant battle.

The usability and customization on Syndigo are straightforward, especially when there are multiple products needed for EBC. I also enjoy the friendly support team that answers my questions quickly and with detail whenever I submit a ticket. I am happy to receive the same support members because they come to know the help I need for my products. I use Syndigo often for updating my products, as well as adding new ones. I recommend Syndigo!

The only "dislike" is that when the platform interface was recently updated I was unaware and had to figure out where everything was again. It would have been helpful to receive a notice about the change as well as a guide to show where the features are now located. I was able to figure it out myself, but I could see how this may have been difficult to others who are not as tech-savvy.

System functions well, overall good experience for the end user. Flexibility.

Lack of support as no one at Syndigo is an expert in our customized implementation, Lack of resources when there are questions or to self-serve

**What problems is Syndigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to implementing our PIM, we were managing data for around 500K SKUs on separate Excel files, with images housed separately in a shared folder. We were working with around 30 clients, some of whom had huge SKU count assortments. For each brand, we managed one spreadsheet with all product data, one spreadsheet with pricing, and a complex and inconsistent system of folders where images were housed. That alone is enough to make my head spin, but if you think about how that impacts efficiency, reduces turn time, and reduces human error, it was truly a game changer for us. We were simply in way over our heads with the amount of data and content we were managing.

Syndigo PIM has a comprehensive set of functions designed for effective management of product information across the organization, facilitating workflows and providing tools for collaborative work in real time with validation. It enables the unification of data standards across different systems, and ensure that high quality data is consistently delivered across digital selling channels. The platform has image and video SEO attributes as well as compliance reviews among other content enhancement features, which fill in product detail thus bettering the visibility and engagement with the prospective customers. Further, the integration features make linking with other business systems straightforward hence able to provide an efficient and flexible PIM solution to any organisation. The first integration was the most challenging since this system represented a paradigm shift. However, we’ve now developed a broad ecosystem of integrations quickly and easily, allowing us to synchronize attribute information, images, technical sheets, and multimedia across digital channels.

**What do you dislike about Syndigo?**

What I like least is the user interface UI, as it can be somewhat confusing for first-time users. The interface contains many buttons and features that aren’t used today in our company, which causes confusion and creates a navigation experience that isn’t ideal for those seeking ease and speed.

**What problems is Syndigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syndigo deals with issues of product data consistency , workflows and syndication accross different channels. It consolidates and integrates the data making it easier to keep up with unified information across all platforms while minimizing manual corrections and preventing associated errors. Timely completion of tasks is improved by offering real time updates as changes and additions to products are launched. This helps us in content management by simplifying it and increasing the quality of data leading to improved experience of our customers across digital platforms.

**What do you like best about Syndigo?**

I like the customer service support. It is really good and the team always responds promptly to my questions. I like that the platform is easy to use. It's pretty user friendly and easy to learn, even when they roll out new updates. There are also a lot of features that organizations can use for their product pages and like I said before, they're easy to learn and use.

**What do you dislike about Syndigo?**

I think it is quite buggy sometimes, with enhanced content previews not loading sometimes. I feel like I have to contact customer support at least twice a week.

We use it to display enhanced content on retailer pages which helps boost customer's trust in our product, and it gives them more information on the product they are buying.

Syndigo products are very user friendly.  The user interface is easy on the eyes and not overly complicated!  As someone who works with multiple data pools for various foodservice manufactures, we highly recommend Syndigo to our clients!  If we ever have any issues, your process for opening a support ticket is very efficient and your team gets back to us right away, diligently working to resolve any issues!  The Syndigo team is always so helpful and kind.  We have worked with many account managers over the years and they are all great at answering questions and making sure we are taken care of properly!

**What do you dislike about Syndigo?**

Whenever we provide input about additional services, Syndigo is usually already working on that new feature, which is great.  They are continually adding services and solutions to improve their platform.  We have suggested that it would be nice for Syndigo to provide a data loading team that could assist struggling suppliers with limited resources the ability to load product GDSN data for their products when they do not have the ability or know how to do it themselves.  Also, it would be nice to see a slightly quicker option for adding nutritional data into product pages by uploading a NFP or through another automated option.

**What problems is Syndigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syndigo presents the most user friendly avenue for suppliers to provide their product data and meet the GDSN requirments implemented by numerous retailers.  Syndigo also provides for the easiest process to secure product images and turn around to then provide hundreds of retailers with images via Marketplace and the Grocery Panel Recipients.  Syndigo also provides the best team of experts that quickly resolve any issues and keep you updated and informed regularly along the process.

The implementation process was smooth and painless. The Syndigo team provided excellent support and guidance, ensuring that our onboarding was seamless. They were responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to address any concerns we had. This made the system set-up stress-free and efficient to get our content flowing into key grocery retailers immediately.  The Grocery panel integration with their grocery retail network has been invaluable, streamlining our processes and enhancing our reach within the industry.

After years in this industry and utilizing multiple imaging and syndication platforms (Gladson before Syndigo aquired it) IX-One, One World Sync, and more, Syndigo has made imagery and content syndication way less painful and frustrating than in the past. The support team feels like an extension of the marketing team, titles and bullets are easy to update and the enhanced content has helped our product pages at key retailers to help educate consumers about our product differentiation. The intake process is easier than other platforms and they do a way better job of photographing and correcting photos vs competition. We've also been able to add branded content to the platform, syndicating branded content to multiple retailers and creating a more cohesive omni-channel experience, no matter where consumers interact with the brand.

**What do you dislike about Syndigo?**

There's not a lot of downsides to Syndigo that I can think of other than I wish ALL retailers used syndigo. Occasionally when retailers have updates, we may have to relink an API, but that's not a huge deal. Some times we do have syncing issues, particularly at Walmart, but the Syndigo customer service team is always helpful in helping us get to the bottom of the issue.

Syndigo makes the syndication of these images more seamless than other platforms. The automation of resizing images for our needs is very helpful.

The ease with which various widgets can be combined to make up an EMC page as well as the responsiveness of their support team. In addition to that, how easy it is to syndicate the created page to WM and doing it more than once certainly makes it very easy and intuitive.

The initial start up process around adding a SKU for which an EMC page is needed, as well as the bulk import option of information that was difficult to understand.

I was handed off setting up/managing the many data management synchronization platforms, including Syndigo. A lot of the other platforms (excluding Syndigo) were incredibly tedious to learn and continue to be time consuming to manage. Many of these other platforms (not Syndigo) require me to manually enter product data repeatedly. Thankfully with Syndigo, setting up new items and managing the product list are incredibly easy, straightforward, and rewarding. 

Within a little while of using the Syndigo platform (and with some help from my company’s Account Executive), I was publishing items, getting product set up, and interacting with the entire site with ease. Managing items and the entire data management process is such a relief when using Syndigo.

Not only is the Syndigo platform a breeze to use, but their support/account team is immensely helpful and knowledgeable. The company I work for has a dedicated Account Executive who not only has helped me get up-and-running in no time, but has been there to bounce weird, one-off questions that have come up. Being able to check in on a regular basis is rare for most companies and has helped me become a real Syndigo believer.

**What do you dislike about Syndigo?**

Honestly, I haven't found one downside with Syndigo. I wish other stores and distributors would begin using Syndigo rather than competitors. The setup and management with Syndigo is second-to-none. 
To this point, since some stores/distributors choose to use other (and more tedious) platforms, I don't use Syndigo as much as I wish I could.

**What problems is Syndigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One HUGE problem is the time saved by using Syndigo. With other data management platforms, I literally have to manually enter field after field of data. If my company only had a few items, this might not be as tedious. But once a company's catalog gets to be over a few dozen, the time needed to dedicate to product setup/manage is quite extensive. 

With Syndigo, actually being able to send in product to have imaged (and data retrieved) is such a timesaver (and lifesaver).

Contract management is unable to account for how live retail product lifecycle management really works. Lack of data consolidation and integration of existing data for all possible uses in the system creates more human interaction, data duplication, and overall unnecessary system bloat. IE: If i enter a model # for an item, it should be entered one time, and accessible / usable in any instance that requires a model # to be referenced.

Syndigo is currently required for providing retailer e-commerce information for Costco. Syndigo provides a vehicle to deliver branded e-commerce communications through the use of Enhanced Content. Core integration (where available) prevents duplication of data entry and puts the data back into the control of the manufacturer, and removes the responsibility of the retailer to directly maintain data that they shouldn't have to manage on their own.

Some of the content requested is not explained and simply references back to other "unexplained" fields. If you don't know, you don't know. This makes you HAVE to call support to get things done.

It was fairly easy to learn the basics to get started.  Customer support is very responsive and has been helpful at resolving issues. I've recently learned how to import data which is an enormous time saver when you have to make updates to multiple items. Similarly, the bulk update feature is helpful for updating multiple records at one time and viewing data for multiple items side by side.

**What do you dislike about Syndigo?**

I don't like how it takes 24 hours upon publishing items to discover errors.  For esample, something as basic as a period within a bullet, or an improperly formatted customer facing size will get an item rejected.  I would think these types of "errors" would be caught in the verification step (which doesn't seem to have much funtion in my opinion).  There is also no notification from publishing failures, so you have to remember to go back in and check every day.

**What problems is Syndigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily use Syndigo to publish to Kroger as it is the primary data tool for that retailer.  We also use the enhanced content feature for another client.  For Kroger, it is an efficient data warehouse and publishing tool.

The learning curve for Syndigo, is somewhat steep, but I do think that it boils down to the complexity of GDSN, data-pools and the differences between each retailers standards. They help to streamline the process of updating GDSN information for multiple retailers at one time. They also help us to capture our products by taking images that meet the retailer specific standards.

**What do you like best about Syndigo?**

Variety of images and shot selection. Easy to customize for what your company needs. Great customer service and quick to aid and solve asks.

**What do you dislike about Syndigo?**

Overly complicated and constantly updating and changing processes for unkonw and unannounced reasons. No metadata to easily identify what assets came from Syndigo vs other. 

Needs to simplify the User experience. Get variety of results for same actions. Have to clear all to prevent downloading the same files again and again.

**What problems is Syndigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing current and updated product/packaging and feeding our 3rd party vendors for eCommerce as well as downloading assets directly for other Studio use sucj as Catalog builds, Digital and In Store signage
